Update. These people are refusing to take accountability for being incompetent and stupid as i don't know what. They returned the car just as broken. My fiancé had to buy a tire, they refused to reimburse him, and refused to say they messed up the wheel well cover. They took it off wrong, broke it, so when they tried to attach it back, it came right off. I've reached to the BS email they told me to THREE times, and nobody has gotten back. At this point I want to BEAT on all the idiots who work there. Y'all need to be out of business. read more

They have NO quality control/assurance. I turned in a 2021 white car with the black rims/mirrors/etc. 1. White overspray on the rim 2. They replaced a nightshade edition headlight with an Apex edition one (one has a silver ring around the led, one doesn't) 3. the Toyota emblem they claimed wasnt damaged and just 2 pins hold it in.... but mine was stuck back on, scruffed all up, with black foamy double sided tape that is visible! the guy who turned the car over acted like that was perfectly effing normal. it's a brand new car with less than 2000 miles, it needs to have a new badge put on correctly. have him buy a brand new car and see how he likes it then. 4. I asked for an estimate a few weeks before I got my car back and the agent said... uh uh you'll get it when u pick up your car... 5. They billed my insurance for a clear hood protector, but none was installed. 6. The top corners of the hood got banged after being painted, now there's raw metal exposed, that will rust.... Whole hood needs to be repainted, then covered 7. they said they replaced the black running boards, they didn't. 8. they left tools in my floor board and trunk. 9. NO QUALITY CONTROL. 10. The guy said in such a wanna be smug attitude "yeah that's double. Sided tape I mean... He can cut it out if u really want him too..." His reply should have been "omg that's not acceptable, let me order that part in." Amazing what they pass as a final product. **Stay away from the Sam Rittenburg location*** The luxury location, hands down 10 times better with special props to Cody. Instead of making excuses for/not mentioning things I didn't notice, he clearly points them out. Stay the hell away from the Sam rittenburg location, but the luxury location does do a great job and doesn't cut the corners Sam rit did... Sam rit billed for a clear paint protector, not installed. They ordered a new headlight assembly, installed it. It's for the Apex version, I have a nightshade version. Different headlights assemblys. read more

The worst body shop ever! They completely butchered my car. Paint overspray everywhere, charged me for a brand new window motor didn't even replace it, paint chips on the hood, door doesn't close properly anymore, the list goes on and on. My insurance paid them $12,000 in repairs that they did not do. They then try to send me to a different caliber to fix their mistake, but that caliber hasn't even gotten back to me about scheduling me in. This was in may, 8 months ago! They are now sending me letters about paying the deductible threatening to send it to collections. I left a negative google review and they responded, asking me to emailing them and shocker they have ignored my email. Biggest fraud. read more

This place was amazing. I got into my first accident and had no idea what to do and what was gonna happen, and Caliber not only helped me but exceeded every expectation I had. Eileen, at the front desk helped answer every question I had and had the most positive attitude. Bobby and Jamaul helped oversee the fixes my car needed, not only did they fix what happened from my collision but they painted my whole bumped making my car look brand new and changed my fob light. Wow is all I can say, I am so disgruntled by this establishment that lacks integrity. The vehicle had to be towed in due to it being non-drivable I brought awareness of the sound the vehicle was making and the impact being hard that it knocked what I learned to be the subframe down along with other things I noticed from being hit I was assured per Heather that they would not only fix the exterior of the vehicle but having it in drivable condition upon return. I had to go by to see what the initial progress was because of the lack of communication. The vehicle being at this location for almost 2 months I finally get a call advising that The car was ready for pick up The body work is not seamlessly intack the finder was half way together, I go to drive my car and it's making the same sound and driving as it did the day of the accident Per the manager saying they are not a mechanic shop . They only hooked it up to a scanner to see where a leak was coming from They did not inspect the car at all to see why it had to be towed in Per heather stating because it was a older model vehicle everything was due to wear and tear How prejudice and biased is that? Per the mechanic Noel at Gerald's tires and brakes whom caliber sent the vehicle to he was advised to check specifically where a leak was coming from and nothing else Fast forward my insurance sent me to someone that has me driving but most importantly driving safely If your looking for a company that is not prejudice, biased, and truly cares about your safety do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere read more

Took my car to caliber collision on last Monday, because of an accident I had. The service was great until I went back to get my belongings out of the car, because State Farm total it. I went to get my belongings, I kept thinking why were guys coming out of the body shop looking at me getting my belongings, I soon found out because someone took my radar detector. Spoke with a the service guy and he said no one took it tell claim it with State Farm. Word to the wise do no leave anything of value in your car when dealing with this company. read more

Getting car fixed at a place you don't really know can be worrisome and stressful but they did an amazing job organizing a rental and getting car fixed as good as new in timely manner. Justine keeps in touch with updates throughout the process to completion date. Her positive attitude and knowledge on whatever you need to get done will keep you worry free and confident that the job will get done quickly and perfectly. Amazing experience. I had damage to my entire vehicle due to vandalism. Caliber Collision fixed me right up. They worked hand in hand with my insurance and the rental car company and I barely needed to lift a finger! They took me in the back and showed me other vehicles that were being worked on so I can get a grasp of what my car will have done. They took me in at a time where I felt a bit lost (I've never had to deal with vandalism before), and gave me exceptional service and guidance. I received constant updates about my vehicle so I was never left wondering when my car will be ready. They even had her done early. When I saw my car, it was more beautiful than when I turned it in! I even joked that the vandalism worked in my favor! I met some great people here and experienced top-notch customer service. The ONLY complaint I have is the location of the place on Ashley Phosphate. Very hard to get into because of the traffic. But I would definitely recommend this establishment. Hopefully I won't have to go back, but it feels good knowing that if I do, I'll be able to use their services again. read more

I have only wonderful things to say about Caliber Collision. A couple of summers ago my beloved Q5 was rear ended and to make matters worst, the car that hit me took off. The Audi dealer recommend that I use Caliber to do the repairs since they are the only Audi certified repair center in South Carolina. The accident left a bitter taste in my mouth, but Tate and the folks made this experience a very positive one. My insurance company in a way to save a few pennies wanted them to repaint a part and Tate went to bat for me with the insurance company and got them to replace the part they wanted to try to save. Tate dealt with the insurance company for me throughout this whole process and all I had to do was pay my deductible when the car was finished. When I got my car it was just as beautiful when I drove it off the dealers lot. Fast forward to now. I developed a leak in the lift gate and brought it in to Tate with hopes that he and his guys would be able to figure out where the water was coming in and to make it stop. While Tate had the car I asked if they would also be able to repaint a black strip on my front end grill. Not only did Caliber arrange for a rental car for me, they took care of my leak and fixed the pealing paint on the front grill. I have to say after a few days of heavy rains, NO water in the lift gate. When I picked up my car again it looked like a brand new car. Not bad for a 2011. Throughout the whole mini repair process I received text messages on how the car was progressing. A few days later I even got a thank you text from them. I highly recommend Caliber for any repair you might need on your car. read more

I'd like to also note that I had prior experience on a different vehicle in the past which I didn't get to leave a review for. So I chose to come back to this location because of their great customer service and speedy efficiency. They kept me updated throughout the time that they had my car by text (which was great) and phone. When I picked up my car, it looked brand new - no signs of any damage! This was the worst experience I've ever had when dealing with vehicle repair after an accident. My initial contact was very polite and professional. I picked up my vehicle on Friday afternoon. I didn't drive over the weekend to allow the repaired parts could continue to adhere to the car. Monday morning I took the car to the car wash and went to visit a friend who informed me that a part that was repaired was suddenly missing from the front of the car. I contacted the young man who was my point of contact with Caliber Collision regarding the missing part. We discussed the issue and we made an appointment for me to bring the car back to Caliber Collision. When I arrived, now suddenly, I notice that my point of contact was very curt and cold while talking with me. Initially when I brought the car into the business for repairs, I documented that my front end of the vehicle sounded funny after hitting the construction barrel. Now I was told that they are a body shop and that they don't repair vehicles. But another person working there says it was my struts and that due the age of my vehicle and the mileage that this would not be an insurance claim issue. I then took my car to a repair shop, they said the my front left driver side wheel well was loose and wrapping around the tires as I drive the vehicle, they took the wheel well off to not create any future issues with my suspension system. I then overheard this other person that there was a slight scratch on my bumper, but that they would order the part and contact me to arrange an appointment to bring the vehicle back. I waited a week, and called my contact person who stated the part wasn't in yet. I waited another week, and contacted my insurance adjuster. He returned my call and said that the part was still not in yet. I waited two weeks, contacted my insurance adjuster, who says that the part was in and we made an appointment for me to return my vehicle for repairs. I have a problem believing that it would take a month for them to get my vehicle part, and I was never contacted by Caliber Collision to state that they had the part and to schedule an appointment for me. I believe this behavior shows a business that is incompetent and inconsiderate of their clients nor the quality of their work. I would never recommend this business to anyone looking to have their vehicle repaired correctly the first time nor when things happen such as my situation to reacted without regard to me, my feelings, nor how I felt driving my vehicle for a month in less than as good as I try to keep my vehicle. I apologize that this was so long, but I detailed my experience to document exactly what I had to deal with while trying to repair my vehicle after the accident. read more
