This company's employee, Jason B., is amazing and he deserves a hero badge. I was driving and hit the median hard and slit my tire on Xmas evening in Charleston, SC. I drove to the closest gas station and saw Jason in his tow truck. I ask if he knew a place where I could get my tire repaired and he said not on Xmas. Then he offered to help me. He tried to fix the flat with this liquid spray, but it would not seal. Then he got my spear and changed my tire. He nor his associate would take money from me. This guy was eating diner when I interrupted him. I told him that I could wait, but he insisted on fixing my tire. Jason is a real hero. read more

Exact same experience....was told they would be here in 25 minutes. After an hour I called. They had not left yet. An hour later I called and the "night driver" had just arrived and had two tows before mine. He said two hours. Called after 2.5 hours. He said he is only one guy and would define here in 25. Called after 70 same story. But he promised he would be here in 25. He was irate with me until I pointed out he was mad because I believed him and naturally called when he was late again. The only reason I was still waiting for him was the good reviews. Called again after 60 minutes. He started the same "I am only one person" and I said I am just going off of what he has told me. He started getting defensive again so I canceled. He immediately started yelling "F you" oner and over. Waited a hour and some. Called just to ask guy if they were close to James Island. He asked me what car was I calling about. He was hostile and said we trying to get there as fast as we can. Then State Farm calls me and said they cancelled my tow. So they found me another tow guy he was nice even though he was off he came with a smile and helped me. Moores towing was subcontracted by a third party from our insurance provider. Comparing pictures before the car was towed and after it was delivered showed additional damages. The third party vendor opened a claim and requested I obtain quotes to start the process. Repair shops wouldn't give me estimates without insurance info which I couldn't obtain from the third party. Our insurance company stated since they contracted the third party, representing us would be a conflict so I called Moores directly. I spoke with the owner who wouldn't give me their insurance info. I asked him why he was raising his voice and being so hostel with me. His response was to further escalate and called me a jack ass repeatedly. I kept my composure and asked if I needed to file a police report to obtain his insurance info and he said yes, please, please, please, please call the police, please, please, please call them like an undisciplined child wanting candy in the checkout line. To call the owner of this business a man child would be a complement. After relaying the owner of Moores Towing actions to our insurance provider they took over the claim with no police report required. Absolutely disgusted about these people. My wife's car got a flat tire at 9:40 PM today and she got stuck in the 3rd floor of a garage in downtown Charleston. Geico set these people for roadside assistance. I called them at 10:11 PM and a guy replied that they will be there. Then at 11 PM, my wife called them and the guy said he has several other jobs. Now at 11:25 PM they hung up our calls. Why waste our time and keep my wife at risk? Would you do that to your loved ones? If you can't do the job why do you lie? We called 911 and got the police to help. I will never use your service again or recommend to anyone. read more

Super Service!!! On April 23, 2019 while at MUSC for a dental appointment I accidentally lock my keys in my Tacoma. GEICO roadside services dispatch them to unlock my truck which they did. Due to the appointment time and their arrive time I could not be there, but they did excellent service and place the keys where I told them to so when I was finished their was there. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! This is the Go To tow company in the Charleston area. I called for an estimate and was happily pleased that they provide a military discount as well! When the man showed up ready to tow my car he had it done and ready to go in less than 5 minutes! Not only was it the quickest and most reasonably priced tow, the weight of my car popped one of the tires in the tow truck and they were so professional about it, he was still able to tow my car a good 10 miles or so away with the flat tire. Called for a tire inflation. They talked a great game. Said they didn't normally do that but I offered to throw them some extra cash and they agreed. They just said it would be a couple hours which I said was fine since they were doing something they don't normally do for me. 2 hours later I CALLED THEM, they hadn't even started in my direction, said they were too busy to do it.
