This was the cheeseburger basket meal that comes with Coleslaw - The drink is seperate charge - Total with $1 tip was $12.22!

Would have been 5 stars if they actually showed you the itemized receipt to know what you are paying.. I know the cheeseburger alone was around $3 and change - they offer basket meals that comes with coleslaw and fries but it doesn't specify how much. The menu was somewhat confusing with the "single and double" section. The drinks are from a can which they pour in a cup filled with ice ..except the sweet tea which was mediocre as far as tea flavor and sweetness. This is a very redneck town and the ambience is very southern. They serve frog legs and swamp soup. I never heard of swamp soup but I just googled now and I guess it consists of beans and greens and sausage links etc with a tomato based broth. Hmmm interesting! They also serve peach cobbler and fried green tomatoes! Its very homey and servers know customers by names which is a good thing. I had to ask for refill of my drink and I am not sure if she charged me from asking a refill. The food was quite a wait.. they served the coleslaw first and then the drink.. the onions for my cheeseburger I requested to be grilled and they kindly did so .. the fries were piping hot and the cheeseburger was delicious! The meat tasted fresh and juicy! The server didnt ask how was the food - I actually stated to her it was good as she passed by our table. Overall the food was delicious but they never gave us a itemized receipt to explain the total .. I was shock to spend $12 on just a lunch cheeseburger meal!! She verbally told us the total and if we wanted to leave tip. I am unsure If I will come back again due to the whole no itemized receipt situation - I just feel I got tricked on paying more on a meal than I should.

Great Country Breakfast and Service. Prices are reasonable for the large amount of food you get. Ms.. Vicky is awesome. On a side note don't use your cell phone while you eat they practice Old Time eating etiquette. They want you to enjoy your company and food. Something you rarely find these days. Will definitely visit again.

Quaint little place with lots of character .

We've been coming to Rodeo Diner since we…read moremoved to St. Cloud in 2013, back when this town still felt like the small farm community it once was. Rodeo was one of the first places we found, and it's been a favorite ever since. This newer location may be an expansion, but it still holds tight to the heart and soul of the original. From the moment you walk in, you know you're somewhere special. There's nothing flashy or overdone, just honest, old-fashioned country cooking served with a smile. The staff is genuinely friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is refreshingly simple and unpretentious. It's the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, and newcomers are welcomed like old friends. We always go for breakfast, no reservations needed. Just roll out of bed and roll through the door. The specials are great, the prices are fair, and the food is consistently satisfying. If you're looking for a recommendation, trust me: the Rodeo Breakfast Special will absolutely make your morning. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. In a world that's constantly changing, Rodeo Diner is one of the last true vestiges of what old St. Cloud used to be. It's a comforting reminder of simpler times, where good food and good people came together without all the fuss. We're lucky to have it.

We happen to stumble upon Jimmy Bears BBQ and are glad we had the opportunity to try it! We came on a Friday night around 6pm, expecting the restaurant to be packed but as we walked in we quickly realized we were the only patrons there. During our time there we never saw anyone else come in either. We ordered our food to-go, and it came out relatively quickly! We felt the price was on par with similar restaurants, and very fair for the amount of food you received The food itself was overall decent. There were some items that we really enjoyed, like the Mac and cheese, three blind mice sandwich, and the Alabama white sauce!! Other items like the green beans or pulled brisket left us wanting more. The green beans did not taste fresh, and the brisket lacked seasoning/flavor. There were also a lot of fried elements like the tater tots, onion rings or even the mozzarella sticks on the three blind mice sandwich, which we feel like were all decent and not too greasy, but also know those are easy things to make regardless of where you're at! The staff was very friendly at the restaurant! They were available if we had questions, and got our food out quickly to us. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little out of date and worn. You could definitely tell this establishment/building has been here for awhile with little to no updates over the years. A few updates to the space I think would really transform it and make it look like it belongs in 2023 not 1993. We do see ourselves coming back in the future, as we saw a few other menu items we are curious about trying!
