At times service reps have actually told me that some of the functions they advertise do not work and not to use them. Once I had a service rep who I am fairly certain could not add or speak any language coherently. My alarm has gone off at times, but no one ever responds. Better off going with a local company and investing in your own off the shelf equipment than what Vivint tries to sell.
