If I'm at a crowded bar late on a weekend night, I'm more-or-less okay with a moderately disgusting environment. When it's early in the afternoon and I'm apparently one of the first customers of the day, I don't want to feel a sticky surface on the bar. I had eaten nothing else that day, and neither had my cohort who ate the same as I did. Once the food was out of my gut, I was completely fine. If we ever go back it will be entirely for the entertainment because having a menu doesn't actually mean you have your shit together in the kitchen, and I can't risk what was very likely mild food poisoning.
