Bought a Groupon for one spray tan and Christine did an amazing job! Super friendly place too!

I somehow always end up being the first person to review a tanning place even though I rarely tan. I come here only for the mystic spray tan so I can't say anything about the UV tanning booths. When my pale self first walked in here I was very afraid of getting spray tanned and be orange and all that jazz. So I came a few days before because I had questions to ask. The girl at the front (I wish i remembered her name) was very helpful and put my doubts away. The day of the tan, there was a different girl working and she was also very helpful and explained everything and recommended some tips on how to make the tan last. Now onto the tan itself, I recommended getting a spray tan from here to everyone now! It looks good, and you do NOT look orange (if you get the right color). I always get the light (the options are low, light, medium, and dark) and I have never looked orange or had streaks. It does look a little darker on the pores around your body but it's hardly noticeable. Within hours of getting it your body will have uneven spots, and streaks and you will want to cry and scrub it away. DON'T! Wait the 6 hours to shower, and all the unevenness will wash away. The next day you will have a nice glow to yourself and not be pale (which is what I'm always aiming for). I frequent them for any "big" occasion I have to attend as my pet peeve is looking pale in pictures. read more

I really would like to share my experience in this place! I came there for spray tan. Place was clean, girl on front desk was nice and friendly. She explained me everything what I need to do to keep my tan longer. I definitely recommend this place for good tan. Peoples are professionals. I have a monthly package at the center city location which I've been going to for a few years. I was back home visiting family and stopped in with the hopes that I would be able to use my package even though its for a different location. I was able to tan here for a $3 convenience fee. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Ugh. I really wish the salon down town was this nice. This location is very large but besides that, its cleaner and looks newer (even though its actually the opposite). The bulbs also seem so much stronger. I only use a 54 booth and I honestly felt that I got tanner in those 10 minutes compared to the numerous times that I go to the one down town. Snaps for maintaining an awesome HT! read more

I've been coming here to tan off and on seasonally for a few years. The booths are great, there's a lot of options and opportunities for cheap or sometimes free upgrades. The girls are very nice and offer you the stand-up or lay down options when volume allows. They actually check for your eyewear at each visit which I appreciate because it forces me to actually bring it and if I'm bringing it I might as well use it and save my eyes from damage. Prices have gone up recently but that's not specific to the location so I can't fault them for it. The only real complaint I have is the wait time between 5-7PM most days is extremely high. Obviously this is high volume time so try to avoid it at all costs. Not a complaint because I don't mind walking, but for informational purposes be prepared to walk from either the gym parking lot or Burger King lot unless you go very early or very late. There are probably only about 25 parking spots for the 6-8 stores on the strip with HT--one of which being a very busy restaurant. read more

Ive been to other tanning salons before but never a Hollywood. After my first visit here I signed up for a 3 month package. The girls at the counter are wonderful went through everything I needed to know in order to pick the right package. Beautiful facility. Clean and they offer a nice area to spruce up after tanning that includes lotions, wipes, perfume, etc. I've never had a problem with parking either. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself! read more

This is by the far the best tanning salon in the area! They have tanning, spray tanning, and teeth whitening! They have great monthly deals and the staff is always so helpful. I come spray tan weekly and the color comes out beautifully and lasts over a week. I highly recommend this tanning salon! read more

I came here for the first time yesterday. I only get spray tans and needed a new salon after the one near my house closed. I stopped in after work and the girls working were polite and informative. There were a few other people tanning but plenty of booths so no need to wait. I was taken straight back to the mystic booth, given everything I needed, and was set. I got a great tan, felt well taken care of, and had no issues! This will be my new go to tanning salon. read more

My daughter got a spray tan for the prom. She got it two days in advance to make sure everything was good. The day of her prom she showered and without thinking used a loofa causing the spray tan to come off in sections leaving a speckled cheetah looking appearance. I called Hollywood Tans and explained what had happened and that her prom was that night. They squeezed her in between two already scheduled appointments and got her in within an hour of my call. They airbrushed her tan back in so that you couldn't tell at all what my daughter had done. To top it off, they charged us NOTHING for this service, even though the damage to the spray tan was 100% my daughters fault. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company and the compassionate and understanding way they helped us through the crisis! I wish I could give them ten stars. read more

I used this salon for years because it has a convenient location, but definitely not due to their disgraceful service. Some of the girls are sweet and the prices are reasonable (except for lotions- buy them on Amazon); however, the rest of the staff is unprofessional and rude. The teenage "manager" lost a loyal costumer when she refused to honor my free tan coupon and copped an attitude with me about it in front of other people, making me and others there uncomfortable. The other girl working there was so embarrassed she apologized to me. I never write reviews, but this needed to be said. I would be impressed by anyone in a manager position at that age...if they were qualified or worthy. Don't disrespect loyal costumers. It's that simple. read more
