Horrible I got acrylic french tip nails he decided to put regular nails instead he made a second mistake by having his hair in one of them and his wife was telling him how horrible of a job he did and that she sees a hair in it and he was very agitated that I was coming there asking him to take it off for free for his second mistake 3rd mistake was him ripping off my natural nail down to one of my natural nail layers and when I was pointing it out He denied the mistake that I pointed out that 2 professional cosmetologists that went to cosmetology school also pointed out that the work is horrible and said that they aren't supposed to be done like that and he had a fit he had to take them off normally he charges to take them off but he made the mistake and there was hair in the pinky nail that belonged to the man at the shop and there were bubbles that had dirt inside them in my nails and the same day when i walked out they looked like they were on for two weeks I didnt notice at first until a professional pointed it out to me he also didnt put enough acrylic all the way down to my cuticle and left excess underneath the acrylic nails and then I came back and I came and told him he did horrible and there is a hair and he got mad and walked away and I talked to his wife and she said come back in an hour and I will take them off I came back in an hour and he said she would be another hour so I said if your okay with taking them off then he yelled and said yes I will take them off and I sat down and he proceeded to cut them short and then cut off the acrylic with a prying tool and then put his nail under my acrylic nail and proceeded to try to take them off improperly and then he got a unused acrylic nail and pushed it under and ripped off the acrylic nails one by one and he did it when he was angry and his hands were filthy with nail polish no gloves worn unsanitary disgusting should be ashamed of himself and then when I got home and soaked off the excess acrylic and nail glue I noticed he tore off a big layer of my nail bed don't go here ever if I could give no stars I would unprofessional he told me how nice of me to do it for you if he was nice he would have done it the proper way he doesn't care about his customers at all only his reputation and hopefully the business gets shut down! read more

I'm very picky and I had my nails done only a few times in my life abcs never went back because I was either uncomfortable or the work was trash or both. I recommend Hollywood Nails - the shop is very clean and the owners were very nice. I got a gel manicure and "T" did my service. I asked him to be very careful and not cut my cuticles. My skin is very thin and if I get a cut around the cuticle, it takes forever to heal. He was very careful, and I appreciate that! read more

I love Wendy and her husband! They are so nice and very professional. I just happened to go to their shop on a fluke but boy I'm so glad I did. I won't go anywhere else even if I have a broken nail which never happens. Wendy is wonderful! My nails ALWAYS look 100% perfect. If you need a new nail shop please go to Hollywood Nails, but make sure you make an appointment because they are very busy! Wendy and her husband are very good and my nails last 3 weeks and still look great. They don't take forever doing your nails and they are evenly shaped, length is always spot on. My nails look perfect every time I go and get a gel stiletto fill or a full set when needed. Hollywood Nails are located in the shopping center where the Stater Brother's Grocery Store is on Florida. Took my wife here after a horrid experience at Milano nails across the street. We came in and they were busy but said they could help in 20 minutes. (They also were about to close so it was nice to see they were going to accommodate us.) Once my wife sat down they took such good care of her and gave her exactly what she wanted to the tee...not like what the other business tried to do. Her nails were done right, with great care, and we had some funny conversations that made the experience better by it not being awkward or quiet. I will say they made an all new customer for life. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work. All I can say to conclude is when you show a little kindness and understanding to someone, you get it right back. I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable in a nail salon. Over my last few visits here, I've gotten to know a lot about the two incredibly sweet people who own the store (do keep in mind that they are NOT the same owners that were HERE a couple years ago). I've watched them set up for pedicures and it's probably the cleanest process in town. It doesn't matter who does my nails, they both take their time and take pride in their work... I love the compliments I get on them all the time. One tip -- be respectful to them and they will be respectful to you. This is their business, their livelihood and they are allowing you to use their service. At least show gratitude and appreciate the fact that they are willing to continuously run the store with just the two of them for nails, toes, eyebrows (thank you wendy!!) and whatever other inquiries you have. read more

Came in at about 5 to ask how long the wait was very politely & the lady yelled at me to wait. I ended up leaving because I had things to do and went back at around 6 and they didn't want to assist me because they said they were closed when they only had two customers and they close at 7. I asked to speak to the owner and they both said they didn't know acting clueless only to find out later that the lady who yelled at me was the owner. I've came here about 4 times before with my Daughter for a upper lip wax and every single time they said no. This place is horrible & has terrible cutover service. read more

Then, when I finally grew impatient and spoke up to find out what was going on, I got a speech about how he didn't hear me ask for the pedi, yada yada yada. Mind you, it wasn't THAT busy. How could you not acknowledge the same customer waiting in the lobby? Was I just there for the atmosphere? Uh, no. Given the name of this salon, you'd expect glitz and glamour; however, if you're looking for a high-end salon experience, or even middle-of-the-road experience, this is NOT your salon. If you're desperate, and want an inexpensive, will barely-get-you-by til your next visit, then this is it. $9 mani's, $12 pedi's. Barely acceptable service and quality. If I could give this place a zero I would. This was my first time trying this new place and I went in to get a fill. I was very unhappy with the ending result. Not only did my nails came out bumpy but they very uneven, all the nails were a random size and he cut me multiple times. After finishing, the gentlemen explain that he would have to charge me extra since I did not get them done there the first time. He also tried to say that my nails were crooked, funny thing, they weren't crooked before I came in. I said thank you and went to the next place to get my eyebrows done. I am not one to complain or engage with confrontation but I was sooo unhappy and shocked with the bad quality of work that he did, that I went back and ask him to please take them off. He did not ask with I was unhappy or how he could fix it. He stated he couldn't give me a refund and it was going to be very painful to take them off. At first the guy was really cool then we went on to talking about what shape I want for my nails and I explain to him clearly but I wanted . After me explaining to him it was obvious that he was flustered and said to me why don't you go to the place where you got them done last time.
