First, I called ahead to ask about the price for a service I wanted, and they gave me one price over the phone. But as soon as I got there, suddenly it was a different price. I don't know what they were trying to pull, but why give false information over the phone and then expect me to pay more in person? Very unprofessional. That was the first red flag. I kept communicating with her like, "Hey, I specifically asked for a wax, nothing else." However, I don't believe he is very experienced in gel-x. He used the smallest amount of gel on just the tip of my very short and weak nails. The gel didn't spread to the rest of the nail bed. Not only that, he was barely paying attention because he was watching some video on his phone with his earbuds in. On Friday, a ring finger nail popped off while I was opening the fridge. They very kindly fixed it for free. Then, when I was out of town for the weekend, my right thumb and pointer finger nails popped off randomly and I wasn't in town to get it fixed. I ended up using nail glue to put them on. The other pointer finger nail popped off while I was scrolling TikTok which led to my decision to make this post. If you go, make sure the tech has experience in what you're looking for. The person that did my pedicure was amazing and attentive. I do wish my massage was done with oil or lotion rather than a sugar scrub though. It was rather uncomfortable but my toes and feet were beautiful and soft when she was done. The only reason it made it to 3 stars is because the design on my nails was nice, the establishment was clean, and they fixed their first mistake.

I've had experiences where old acrylic wasn't removed AT ALL (because they didn't offer that service but wanted to charge $70 and up!
