I brought my mini-Schnauzer to this place for the reviews and the convenient location. My poor dog showed signs of trauma at home,all fearful and acting weird. The grooming was alright but I wonder what kind of treatment or punishment do they use if the dog doesn't cooperate to stay still. I know Schnauzers can be somehow difficult but with his former groomer in CA he never showed this kind of behavior after the service . Also, I asked how long more or less it would take,she said about 3 hours...well it was over 5 hours without hearing from her so I had to call. She said that was because it was a walk-in service. I still would appreciate more honestity to know he was going to be the last in the list. If you care about the physiological aspect of the dog don't bring him/her here, but if the esthetic of your dog is what matters it might be ok. read more

Awesome staff. Wish I got their names so I could give them a shout out. We went with our dog yesterday, 09OCT21 an hour before closing for a nail grinding. So glad we decided to go here rather than going the DIY route. My dog is fairly large. It took me and a staff member to hold her down while her nails were being grinded. You can tell the staff are true animal lovers. They did a great job and my fur baby is no longer licking her paws nonstop. Highly recommend! A+++ Edit: I noticed another review mentioning their pet being traumatized. I think that has a lot to do with the breed and age etc. My dog was being a total drama queen on the ride home. But I was with her during the entire nail grinding/trimming process. The staff showed a lot more patience than I would have. It's just the way some dogs (and people!) are. read more

The people here are very nice and do a great job with my little sweetie pie. Whenever we take her in we know that we don't need to worry about giving them a bunch of instructions on how we waver her trimmed because they are good at picking out the cutest haircuts for her. She looks so stinking adorable every time we pick her up. I am impressed that they can trim her because I did it once and she is the wiggliest and most difficult creature to groom. She also nips, so the fact these ladies can take that poofy ball of energy and trim her up so cute is just a miracle in my eyes. And for the life of me I cannot figure out how they are able to get those precious itty bitty bows in her hair! Soooo cute! I always look forward to seeing her new look and what little accoutrements they've added to her hair. Definitely recommend them. read more

We've taken our yellow lab to Hollywood Grooming a few times now, for the bath, nail trim, and general hygiene grooming that dogs require. We LOVE this place!! We have 2 Pomeranians and one of them hates getting shaved, but they do such a great job. My dogs get excited walking in. They have play pins for them to relax in, instead of cages. Reasonably priced and extremely friendly. It's always easy to get in and make an appointment. Love this groomer!! read more

By far the best groomer I have ever taken my fur baby to! Not only do they make him look amazing they take their time and care with him!

First and last time I will ever go there I took my dog in for basic Grooming. I'm just now leaving the vet office which has cost me over $100 because they grinded his nail down so far i couldn't get it to stop bleeding! (they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that he was bleeding when I picked him up) Not only do I have the vet bill but I have blood all over my car seats as well as my carpet in my house so the money I saved on the cheap Grooming I have spent many times over! read more

The ladies were very nice. I saw them interact with the dogs and they were very sweet to them. My dog looked and smelled amazing after her bath and her breath was also very fresh. This is my new groomer for sure. I also really liked that the dogs were in small "play pen" fences as opposed to cages/kennels. The dogs were also not in a back room and we're in the main part of the store. They were also very quick even though my dog is a long hair dog and is not super cooperative when it comes to grooming. read more

Hollywood Groomers does not deserve any star....WORES experience ever. From the the time I walked into their salon which smelled badly to the rude groomer and her daughter who was even more obnoxious, It was a horrible experience. I recently moved to the area and went to Hollywood Grooming on Colonial Drive in the same shopping plaza as McDonald's.MY maltese/poo needed a hair cut/ full grooming. I explained to the lady at the counter (she seem to be in a rush) that my dog need a full hair cut. When I picked my dog up he was shaved to the skin, his skin was bright red and he was shaking non stop. I told her that this was wrong and she got an attitude with me. To make a long story short my dog got so sick after I picked him up. For the next 2 day he kept throwing up and shivering. I took him to the Vet. His temp was so high and and his shivering was so bad....the Vet said because the groomers kept the hot shaver on his skin so long that he had developed an anxiety attack and his skin was inflamed. On top of that he caught a virus. The Vet gave him some pills for his anxiety and an antibiotic for his inflamed skin and something to help with the constant vomiting. I end up spending another 280 dollars for that visit. My dog is 8 years old, well behave and loving, have always gone to the groomers, never had anxiety and he went into Hollywood Groomers very Healthy, but came out very sick with anxiety from the groomers hot blade on his skin for a long period of time. IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR PET(s) PLEASE DO NOT TAKE TO HOLLYWOOD GROOMERS. read more
