One thing that we definitely needed to find here was a new dog groomer, as our golden retriever needs several spa days every year. Something important with a dog groomer is proximity to your home. That's really important with any business, I suppose. But a groomer requires two round trip drives with pick-up and drop-off. It appears that the next closest groomer is at least 20 minutes away, which means an hour and 20 minutes of commuting. So even though it seems strange because we have another Woof Gang not too far away, I am selfishly very happy that they opened up here. But Woodforest is a hug neighborhood, so I'm sure there are many others who are also grateful. In Tampa, we tried to take our dog to a Woof Gang that opened near our old house, but to be honest, we were not a big fan of the haircut he got. But we know that every groomer is different and that our Tampa grooming experience is not an indictment of all Woof Gang's around the globe. It turned out, his haircut looked pretty much identical to the place we just to take him in Tampa and was virtually the same price. So after one visit, I think we've found our permanent groomer!

He even knew the temperament of our little one which we thought was pretty awesome. When we told him we had to step next door he even had everything ready to go for us when we got back and told his associate to be expecting us. You can tell when people are "dog" people, and Ashley along with the desk staff referred to our pups as "babies", which to me meant they understood they are just that...our babies! And then my 3 pound dog was charged as a full groom when all he had was a bath, but of course the groomer wasn't there to verify so I ended up paying 30 extra dollars for something I didn't get that is unfair. I don't cut the fur on my dog. He is very little and all we do is bathe and do a sanitary with nail clipping. Yet they charge me for a bigger dog and a full service. As that's not enough, I had an appointment today and again they called and changed at three times. I'm extremely mad. When I plan my day to have my dog groomed, that's what my plan is. Have to keep changing it not OK Overcharged, my appointment time was kicked around like a soccer ball multiple times That makes me worry, such a disorganization how are they going to treat the dog? This was a great place to bring your dog, but since it has changed owners, I have to rethink this. My neighbor brought her dog and it was a five hour wait in the crate. I think you need to wait until they get their staff of groomers worked out so they can work out a good schedule for everyone's well-being and safety also. I'll check back in to see how this place does in a few months after the new owner gets settled and gets a staff on board. I mean, come on guys quit using the excuse. I have a sick groomer or a groomer whose kid is sick. Business is business. Take care of your customers. Canceling once on your Customer, maybe, Canceling twice, OK canceling three times what's up and then canceling multiple times in one day. I built my schedule around the appointments I have for the day. I can't can't keep moving appointments so that you can fill your day. I have just used Sandy and her assistant for my pup's grooming the other day and it went fantastic. The best thing is that they come to your place and you don't have to stress your dog taking him somewhere. Buster's hair cut turned out great! Sandy really worked hard, she took her time with Buster, she talked to him and was very gentle and assuring. He didn't stress nearly as much as he usually does. We love how clean and neat he looks and feels. I am very happy. Highly recommend!
