It is larger than many others in the Cleveland area, and thus has more dog supplies than other ones. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful -- when I came during COVID and found there was a shortage in the puppy food that I use for my dog, they were able to provide some valuable information about a production shortage with the brand that I use, and helped me look to confirm that they were out of stock (as their website said they had some in stock). Even though there were a lot of people in line they were able to check people out quickly. And they have glass shields up so you feel safe at checkout during this pandemic. The one downside of this location is that even though it's right by all the main shopping in Avon, it's almost behind the other stores where it's a little tucked out of the way. But when I do remember that it is back there, I try to stop by and grab a treat or a new toy for my puppy.

It's really concerning that a pet store can't provide accurate basic information about the animals they sell. I wouldn't trust the advice here if you actually care about your pets. If I could rate this place negative stars I would.

Understandably---because of their mostly easily-affordable inventory---I'd be surprised to ever find them inside one. Way too expensive for what they offer. This shop truly is one of those proverbial "little gems". The employees are knowledgable and very friendly, without being pushy. That is the type of service you expect everywhere but typically only get in smaller places.
