When I walked in the owner(man) didn't speak and as if he was shocked to see an an African American woman in his nail salon. Every time I asked him a question he never responded and walked away. I spoke to him on the phone and requested an experienced tech not someone in training because I am very particular. The nail tech that was assigned to me was not experienced but I still allowed her to attempt to do my nails. I didn't have any nails because I just removed my acrylic nails before I relocated. I asked for square shape and she gave me round which filed down the little nails I had. As I questioned him can he assist her he was you can leave and don't pay. I said no, you or someone will fix the nails and I will be paying for the service that was given. She didn't know how to polish and he refused to do it himself. He was the only person available. Another nail tech polished my nails and shaped them with as best as she could with the gel polish on. I paid my $40 and left and even gave each of them a tip. However, I will never return there for service again.

I found Nail Lounge by happy accident. I stopped in, saw a man doing a killer Valentine's set on…read morethe lady in his chair, and decided to book with him. I returned today for my appointment with Vinny. I got a fill in for my current acrylics, and requested a Valentine's Day inspired nail design. Vinny listened to my request and his artistic talent did the rest. The shape is excellent. Vinny meticulously filed away until I had the perfectly shaped stiletto nails. Smoothe edges and surface. No lumps, no bumps, and no jagged edges. He had an awesome AI gel nail dryer, which boasted how it applies the UV directly to the nails, not the skin, for a healthier experience. There was also a visual screen atop, showing your hands inside the machine. Very demure! I love my nails! Vinny is such an amazing nail artist; he's personable and funny too! I particularly appreciated how he took his time with my nails; I did not feel rushed. Nail Lounge is a fairly small shop compared to some of the others these days. But they have all the offerings of the mega nail salons. I liked their chairs. Each chair had matching little pillows which fit perfectly between the small of my back and the chair, making a very comfortable seat. There is no discount for paying with cash, but you avoid the credit card upcharge (which is less than $2). The employees are nice and accommodating. I was asked by multiple people if I wanted anything to drink. Lastly, I love the pricing structure and how they gave me an itemized receipt to explain the charges. I watched as Vinny keyed in all of my services rendered and the computer priced it out. No guesswork; no making up figures off the top of their heads. Whenever I'm in Nashville, Vinny and Nail Lounge will be my go-tos. Heck, I'd even drive to Nashville just to have Vinny do my nails!

She started with taking my gel off nails, then sat me down to get my pedicure started. Everything went well. She finished and took me to my seat to start on my manicure. As she was finishing my cuticles, she nicked me. You could clearly see the cut, I went to wash my hands and saw that it was now bleeding. I sit down and tell her she cut me, she apologizes profusely and cleans it up and proceeds to finish my manicure. I know she didn't mean it; however, I think this will be my last time here.

I had been going to them for the past several months. And today Tiffany says that she can only see me if I send her a deposit for an appointment because she's short staffed, as if I didn't know that only her and her husband operate the business. And they refuse to hire anybody else besides them as a married couple working in their own establishment. Earlier today she told me to come in at 2:30 PM and then she called me back and told me to come in an hour later,at 3:30 PM.I called and now she can't see me she is busy and short staffed. lol then she informed me I need to make a appointment, and send her a deposit.Nowhere inside of the establishment does it say that you need to make a deposit first prior to making an appointment. Or on the nailsalon, website listed through Google.Which is false advertisement and against the Better Business Bureau's policy which is false advertisement. If you don't display what you offer, you can't make it up to clients. that is against the law. And unprofessional and doing bad business. And for the past several months,I have always been a walk-in client. And today I need to make a deposit for an appointment through Yale after she told me I could come in and called and said to come back in an hour later. Call back an hour later and she couldn't see me and told me I need to make appointment and deposit"when I said I wasn't making a deposit she then said, go somewhere else and hung up in my face!!Disrespectful and rude as an owner of a nail salon very unprofessional. She was so ugly towards me for absolutely no reason just rude.. And to ask somebody to send money to her for an appointment, when she doesn't have a sign displayed stating that that is how she operates her establishment of business. Asking clients for money to send for an appointment is really absurd. If you're that hard up for money perhaps you should hire more nail techs.I don't recommend doing business with them unless you are willing to wait and wait and wait. And Tiffany not keeping her word, after offering for you to come in and then calling you back and telling you to come back an hour later. And then telling you she was too busy to take you"and suggesting for you to send her money for an appointment... Bad business...

After 9 years of…read morepatronage--first with Lebella Nail Spa, and continuing after D.Vinci Nail & Lash took over--I was shocked by the poor treatment I recently received. I arrived at 10:00 a.m., the exact opening time listed online, door, & brochure, only to be scolded rudely- in front of another client- by Francis, manager, that my appointment was at 9:45. He went so far as to say that had I been 1 minute later, he would have left. I had even attempted calling earlier to confirm. After years of coming here, that level of disrespect was unacceptable. To make matters worse, he was seeing a walk-in client when my pedicure was completed. So I waited... And waited. Also, many of the talented staff, including Mary and John, have already left. Sadly, the quality of both care and customer service has gone downhill. I stayed for my appointment this time, due to my schedule--but this will be my LAST visit. I cannot confidently recommend D.Vinci Nails & Lash for anyone seeking consistent quality or professional customer service. I could say so much more about the quality & customer service, but I'll leave that to others to decide themselves. Hope this helps!
