Pete has tremendous attention to detail and he's extremely experienced with clippers, fading, etc. He nailed the style that I was looking for. Pete takes his craft seriously and delivers with a very easy-going demeanor. Between Pete being great, the fast turn around, and the whole thing only costing $25 + tip, The Refinery secured my business for life. She doesn't give free samples, no gifts around the holidays, nothing. Just more fees! Now she increased prices on top of the added fees. One time I was given the wrong change. I didn't even realize until I was almost home and I had to drive all the way back because it was a full $10 short. The woman that answers the phone is not kind or friendly. The shampooers are always leaving you soaking wet. Ever since Ricardo left, they've been hard pressed to find a good shampoo person. The parking lot is tiny and an accident waiting to happen. Once my eyebrow waxer left (a long time ago), I decided to just stop getting waxed because the new girl did an awful job and I never bothered trying anyone else. Again, if it wasn't for my actual hairdresser, this place wouldn't have anything going for it. Hopefully the owner can start putting more effort into doing something for her loyal customers before she starts losing more of her hair stylists...and their customers.
