I came for a regular hair cut and asked the stylist for a half inch off, not too much off sides and not too much off the back either. Instead they had to take a full inch off, too much off the sides and back. Not recommended at all. read more

Used to be typical now terrible. Seriously twice I've gotten cuts by trainees who really are not experienced. One didn't even get how to blend/fade and I have the worlds thickest easiest hair to cut. I had to have her buzz it all off so I didn't look like a damn crooked rooster. After complaining to corporate, come to find out this is a franchise and they flat out don't care. Fortunately chain chop shops are a dime a dozen. Adding a point because another Great Clips location saw how messed up the cut was and fixed/recut for a huge discount. read more

All of the businesses in you're neighborhood are still open - which is why I am now grocery shopping instead of getting a haircut. Needed to get my hair did- I live in the area and have stayed away from this place since you have to pay for a wash and a cut AND a blow dry. But if I'm going to pay $30 somewhere else- why not! They do NOT offer color or other specialties- only cuts. I went Friday night, 5pm and was in and out. I have had some scalp issues so Sahara used tea tree shampoo and conditioner and spent some extra time working it in- it felt awesome. I wasn't expecting miracles since it's a walk-in salon but she gave be a good text-book layered hair cut. She was pleasant to talk with and didn't talk too much. Nice work! read more

I went here very reluctantly. My sister was a Stylist and the only one that had ever touched my hair as an adult. She recently passed away and I have put off a haircut for way too long. I walked in and got Lisa as my stylist (also my sisters name). She was wonderful. Did exactly what I asked and was very nice. My hair looks so much better. Was really in need of a good haircut the other day so I stopped in this Great Clips. My hair was in terrible shape after having been butchered by a woman from another hair place over 6 months ago, and then being "trimmed" here and there by my mom and two daughters. Had a wash and cut for $16 plus a tip which wasn't bad at all. Dee did a great job, and thanks to her, I feel so much better now! read more

I thought this great clips used to be really great. But, tonight's customer service was so horrible that I actually decided to install yelp app and give review so that folks will expect what kind of service they are getting. I would like to request the management team to start looking into their employees attitudes. Not all of them are bad. Some are really good actually. But, it's usually one that creates seriously disgusting customer experience. One bad experience might overshadow the past good experiences. I intend to visit this facility in coming days. I hope the management team takes my review seriously and I hope get to better quality services. P.S: Tonight's haircut was so horrible that I could have done better job myself. Twice now, my husband has come here and the stylist has messed up to the point of just giving him a shaved head because there was a lack of communication or knowledge, I am not sure, on the stylist part. I then foolishly thought this place might be better for my children and my son now has uneven hair and my daughters hair just hangs with no style or shape. My husband went to get a haircut yesterday, Saturday, and was greeted by a pleasant and professional young African American woman. (The only reason I'm mentioning that is he forgot to get her name.) We were both so pleased with his haircut and she now has a permanent client. We can't speak for the other stylists, but she did a great job. I went to Great Clips after my stylist at another salon left. I brought two pictures to give the stylist an idea of what I wanted. She asked me some questions, restated what she thought I wanted to make sure she understood, and gave me a fabulous cut! It's so rare to find someone that actually listens! The cut was exactly what I wanted. It was $12, plus tip. Ive paid $60 or more at local salons and wasn't nearly as happy as I am with this cut. This particular stylist is no longer there, but they all seem excellent. Women are constantly complimenting me on my hair and asking me where I go. They are shocked when I tell them. read more

Not so Great Clips....The price is right but as the saying goes ("you get what you pay for") my third trip there ,after the first I swore I'd never go back but I figured I'd give them a second chance got a decent haircut because I got the manager or the franchisee to cut my hair and I explained to her why I didn't come back .She assured me it was under new management and it should not happen again.So I went in for my 3rd Haircut, the stylist was very nice and I explained to her not to short because I don't want it sticking up & have Cow licks on each side & she did just the opposite too too short... no comprehension or just plain stupid so this is the end of my story I won't be going back there ever !! read more

After such a poor initial experience, I have been to them several more times with every visit a very *great* experience. You ask, *Why would I go back after the bad experience?*.
