Hollyberry provided the catering for our reception at Third Degree Glass Factory and they were a wonderful choice. Initially, when we started looking at our catering needs, we solicited quotes from several companies. Most catering companies weren't able to deliver all of our wants in our budget, but Hollyberry offered flexibility and competitive pricing to meet our needs. We ultimately decided on Hollyberry based on several factors: they were honest and upfront about their pricing and it was affordable, they offered a fun and innovative menu, and their dishes were able to accommodate multiple dietary needs. It turned out to be a great decision! Once we partnered with Hollyberry, they worked with us to construct our ideal menu including a variety of appetizers, plated entrees, desserts, and late-night snacks. We felt supported throughout the process and having the ability to taste our menu beforehand offered us welcome insights and influenced how our menu was constructed. We ended up working with Nickie who was a wonderful partner. She was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience! The couple of weeks leading up to the wedding, Nickie was flexible in accommodating changes to our guest count and was able to take design ideas from us and run with them to create a cohesive vision for the evening. One thing to note: we signed a contract with Hollyberry nearly a year prior to our event and built our contract and menu with one coordinator, but were ultimately reassigned to Nickie. Nickie was so excited to take on our event, but we wished Hollyberry would have shared with her more details and decisions made previously revolving around our event. She wasn't given our updated contract so we had to sync up many of the details we had confirmed 4 months prior. At the end of the day, we were very much on the same page and wouldn't expect this to be a common occurrence. The night of our 140-person reception, Hollyberry was on it! Their waitstaff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the experience at our venue was seamless. Nickie was very much in the moment and made sure to call out guests where there were dietary needs--we never had concerns about folks getting the wrong meal or accidently getting served something that could have caused a health issue. As far as the food goes--DELICIOUS! Particular highlights include the bacon wrapped dates (passed hors d'oeuvre), toasted cannelloni bites and buffalo chicken dippers (late night snack), and the fudgy flourless mini cake bites (gluten free dessert). We ended up selecting stuffed acorn squash (vegan friendly), mozzarella stuffed chicken, and beef tenderloin as the entrees, all of which were excellent, but particularly the beef, with many guests of ours commenting on how great the food was! In all, our experience with Hollyberry was great. They were able to build out an appetizing menu that adhered to our goals, arranged a cohesive vision for the food that enhanced the experience, estimated the perfect amount of food needed for our guest count and delivered a wonderful evening! We used Hollyberry for a coworkers baby shower. We had to choose from a list of preferred caterers and to make things tricky....we have one person GF and one person vegan and to top it off, it was a small party of 7. This was no big deal for them. They created a menu for us and the price was amazing! And let me tell you about the food. Listennnnnnnn....those collard greens were the most flavorful greens we have EVER EVER EVER tasted in my life! I want to have a party and just have their collard greens. We used this company for a Sip and See. I would NEVER use this company again. Issues include: we had to follow up continuously with the party planner, because they never followed up with the contract and the information we requested. They did apologize for that, so we decided to use them anyway. At the event, the servers stood around or in the kitchen speaking to each other instead of serving our guests. The bartender was rude to our guests. At the end of the event, there was a lot of food left over that we asked for them to package for us, and instead, the servers packaged it up and took it home for themselves. When I called Marti Weber, the Catering Sales Director to discuss it, she was rude, curt and hung up on me. This company does NOT know customer service and has very poor follow through. read more

We had Hollyberry catering for our wedding last June they were in the batch of caterers our venue allowed us to pick from. The tasting went well we weren't allowed to try the beef tenderloin even when we offered to pay because they said it was too much for people, but I feel that if I spend thousands of dollars and offer to spend more it shouldn't bother you in the slightest and they responded rather rudely saying it will taste like what you expect it to taste like. Luckily it was very delicious and tasted as I expected, as was the mozzarella chicken(chicken parm), mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. The hors-d'oeuvres were absolutely delicious at tasting but after arriving to my cocktail hour and trying them they were no where near as good and mushy which was disappointing. Service was mediocre and things were thrown away at the end of the night that shouldn't have been but I wasn't specific so that is on me as well. All in all I did get a lot of compliments on the food from our guests and the food was main courses were delicious but service is so so. read more

For Easter we wanted to do something we hadn't done before, AND was doable during this quarantine time...so we ordered catering from Hollyberry Catering for our Easter lunch! We already knew about Hollyberry because they cater our kids school lunches, and he loves their food and raves about their COOKIES! So long story short, we called them up and they were super friendly and helpful in the process of ordering, making sure we got all we wanted. They explained the "contact-free" pick up process and the process was seamless! Oh, and the food was AMAZING. The ham was beautiful and flavorful, asparagus and potatoes and gooey butter cake were wonderful as well! We also got some brisket, mashed potatoes and carrots, and it literally all melted in my mouth! Thank you and great job! Hope to do it again! read more

Hollyberry provided the food for our event and it was absolutely perfect - exactly what I was hoping for! Rave reviews from our guests! I worked with Marti (very friendly and so helpful!) and she put together a great selection of finger-foods for our cocktail party. She make some suggestions for a better balance based on their vast experience. I found their prices to be better than other caterers I was reviewing - the first quote was under budget so I was able to add some extras! They arrived on time and worked with my staff to get things set up. They brought everything we needed to set up and serve the food. The mac-n-cheese balls and Angus sliders were the hit of the night but the quite frankly, everything was delicious! A real pleasure to work with and I'll definitely call them again for our next event! read more

We've started carrying some of Hollyberry's sandwiches and salads at my work and I can't get enough of the Italian Club! Sandwiches are my new favorite thing, and it's the perfect blend of ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese. I've been able to sample some of the items off their catering list as well and let me just say, gooey butter cupcakes! It's genius. Reasonable prices and a friendly faces make for a wonderful business! read more

We used this company last year and this year for our Christmas party and had issues both times. This year, they failed to call and confirm and did not show up until 12 minutes before the party started when I was told they would be here between 60-90 minutes before the party started. Guests were already in our home and by the time they left we had at least 20 guests there while they packed up all their stuff and left. Their policy is they don't give any credits or refunds for service and their max credit back is 10% of food total. I am very disappointed in them and the fact that they use "policy" as their guide and not customer service experience. read more

Lovely people, great food (received rave reviews from guests), excellent service and good planning help. Being my first time having an event at my home, I was particularly interested in everything going smoothly. The waitstaff explained what hors d'oeuvres were being passed and were very friendly. I couldn't have asked for better! The manager did a great job too. Unfortunately, the bartender was not familiar with Manhattans or Old Fashioneds, which I specifically wanted. Every time anyone asked for one she had to refer to a recipe or ask how they were made. I had requested a specific bartender I had met at another party. She was guaranteed to be my bartender but she was replaced by another at the last minute without anyone notifying me. She was available but was pulled off at the last minute for another party. I was very peeved by this and called the party planner. They apologized and tried to make it right. For a cost of $2,200 they reimbursed me $80. Not exactly wanting my business I guess. read more

Hollyberry catered our wedding, and they. were. fantastic. I was looking for a place that catered to vegetarians, and they have SO many vegetarian options! Lindsey was my contact, and she was there whenever I needed her. She answered emails super quickly, but kind of hard to get a hold of on the phone, mostly because she's always with clients. But that wasn't really a problem because I like email anyway. The catering staff was there on time and was exceptional. It was so nice that right after the first dance the catering staff asked what we would like to eat, because otherwise we wouldn't have eaten at our own wedding. She also was on the cake cutting. My mom had made the cake, so she wanted to make sure it was set out and cut and everything. They did such a good job. Everyone complimented my parents on how amazing the food was. I only wish I would have gotten to eat more of it! Overall, I would highly recommend hollyberry for any event. Superb event service, customer service, and food. read more

I plan the corporate events for where I work and was looking to get catering for a meeting for 200 people. As I was searching for quotes, I left several messages with the person in charge of catering at Hollyberry. Her assistant finally got back me a couple of days after I had given up. I gave her all the information by phone, but still received an email asking for the exact same information several days later. The quote was not submitted when they said they would get it to me, despite having ample time. I've heard that they're delicious but I was so disappointed at they way they treated me that I don't think I'll ever try to use them again. read more

We used Hollyberry for our wedding in May and they were amazing. I was overwhelmed at first with all of the choices and Nicole really helped me narrow things down and I felt like she really understood what we wanted and didn't try to oversell or convince me I needed something else. The mac and cheese was awesome the next day also. I got LOTS of compliments on the food, they really worked with us on keeping things within our budget and the staff was so nice!
