The space was big enough to accommodate the 75 guest that was invited. Parking was plentiful and a good time was had! Wonderful Venue for Private Event!…read more We had a wonderful experience from start to finish for a Champagne Brunch we held at Wild Flower Loft in mid-December. Jackie was on top of everything while planning the event and was very kind and quick to reply to all of my questions along the way. They were very flexible by allowing us to hire a florist of our choice for centerpieces and by having the chef customize menu items to accommodate our tastes. Nate was our captain/host the day of the event and was on top of everything from helping us get the music playlist running (they have a wireless Sonos speaker system), to setting up their projector and screen so we could run a slideshow during the event. All of our guests thought the venue was beautiful, and everyone commented on how delicious the brunch was (guests are still talking about the ham and egg strata - yum!). The venue has amazing character with a beautiful tin ceiling, fireplaces, and multiple windows, plus it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It is up one flight of stairs (there is a landing halfway that can accommodate a chair if you have guests that need a rest), but once you are upstairs everything you need is there (restrooms, coat racks). There were two pats of butter at the buffet table for an entire party of 30 to use. The french baguette was toasted to a crisp and hard as rock. The absolute worst were the egg salad sandwiches, which had clearly been prepared over a day in advance. The bread was so dry you could barely pick up a sandwich without it breaking. The egg salad inside was bland and boring. The only thing that wasn't terrible was the fruit (and how could someone mess up fruit?) but it still was served in tiny portions and the fruit station was not refilled to keep up with the pace of the guests in the buffet line. The restaurant may have decent food (I can't say for sure, I haven't ever eaten there) but using the loft area for a private event was a huge disappointment. We were livid at the quality of food we were given for the price we paid. I've had a better meal at IHOP. If you are thinking about using the Wild Flower loft, don't do it! Save your money and go somewhere else!
