And while getting a massage usually helps me a little bit to feel better and more relaxed, it usually doesn't help to address the underlying problems that continue to cause reoccurring tension, tightness and pain that I have experienced for many years. But Richard's massage was different than others. It focused on releasing trigger points which are often the cause of chronic pain, with which I sometime struggle. He is personable, a good listener and responds quickly to requests during treatment to address specific areas of discomfort and does so really effectively! I have found myself having more lasting relief after seeing him and am trying to fit more frequent sessions with him into my schedule since I can already see how more regular treatment can bring my discomfort level down on a more permanent basis. That would be just wonderful! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced and effective massage therapist and thank him for what he has done already to help me!

I ONLY booked with KiKi from that day on! Her firm and meticulous strokes would have been enough to win me over, but she also takes the extra steps in creating ambient lighting (pillow case over an x-ray film light box...so creative!), playing soothing music from her phone, and warming the oil she uses. This is all at a sterile, fluorescent-lit doctor's office! I knew that if she paid that much attention to the details in a medical environment where it wasn't necessary, she'd be mind blowing in her own healing space. I've had many massages in my life and I like deep pressure, but what feels good may not necessarily be what is good for the body. In some cases it can even cause more harm. Having a massage therapist that knows how work out the kinks and also has a medical understanding of the body is crucial. I don't think I understood that before meeting KiKi. Love her!
