1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing Wedding Catering Experience…read more After spending over $23,000 with Kimberley Ashlee & Co. for our August 8, 2026 wedding at Hartwood Acres Mansion, I can confidently say they were the biggest disappointment of our entire wedding. Despite paying $6,376.50 for a deluxe bar, we had one bartender during cocktail hour, 45-minute lines, and ran out of multiple beers, liquors, and mixers within 40 minutes. Beverages weren't adequately restocked until after 9:00 PM. Food was served cold, menu items differed from our tasting, and multiple dishes ran out before all guests were served. Vegetarian guests were left with almost nothing to eat. Our contracted table-release order was ignored, tables weren't properly cleared, and water service was so inadequate that our bridal party stepped in to help. We were also charged for a front-of-house supervisor who, to our knowledge, was absent. Kimberly, the face of the company, was nowhere to be found. For a company charging premium prices, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail was astounding. To make matters worse, their response to our concerns was completely arrogant and dismissive. We sent a formal demand letter by certified mail to their PO Box, which was never picked up. We now intend to pursue the matter in court. Hartwood Acres has profusely apologized for recommending this caterer and has since removed them from its preferred vendor list. We also learned of serious issues at a wedding they catered the day before ours, where they reportedly left three hours early without clearing the plates. We spent over two years planning our wedding, and nearly every aspect of their service fell short of what was promised and paid for. Thankfully, our other vendors were incredible, but this company's failures created unnecessary stress for our family and guests on a day we can never get back. My advice to future couples: Do your research. A premium price tag does not guarantee premium service, professionalism, or accountability.
