The highlight was the super comfortable bed and comforter, and the amazing down pillows. I have never enjoyed sleeping so much. The hotel's bar provided a really great breakfast at just twenty pounds. I went back day after day for the delicious button mushrooms and lovely herded scrambled eggs. Dinner was very nice as well. The tomato red pepper soup was very thoughtfully prepared and presented by Christopher and Gia. Overall, I would happily stay at this CitizenM hotel any time! It's a little on the pricey side as you are paying for convenience and a moderate to higher end hotel. the location is located within the outskirts of terminal 5, by the car port/bus station. There's a connected walkway and takes about 10 min (walking at a leisurely pace and waiting for the elevator) to get from hotel to the trains. The hotel is quiet large. The room is nice, spacious (especially for London) and serves it's purpose. The front desk was non stop busy with tourists, families, solo travelers and business people coming or going throughout the day. If you need a nice, safe, clean, convenient place while in London for a short stay and are flying out of LHR, this is a solid place. It's in terminal 5 so departures are right there. If you are flying out of another terminal (2, 3 or 4) it's a quick free train ride.

This is an extremely convenient hotel at Terminal 5 - London Heathrow. Reaching it requires a…read moremoderate walk from the arrivals area through covered walkways. Signage in the arrivals area clearly directs you to the hotel. It probably took approximately 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the arrivals area. The check-in process was quick, but they did not appear to offer a digital key and online check-in process to allow you to go directly from the plane to your room. The hotel is very large, and it can be a bit confusing to locate your room. The room was comfortable but rather dated in its appearance. A very odd thing - there were no charging plugs whatsoever at the bedside. The bathroom was quite small, and the bathroom shower stall routinely leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Our room also had no view other than an interior view of windows of other rooms. Our room featured Club Millesime access - the club is located on the check-in level. It's fairly spacious but is very bland inside and doesn't really have a view or anything particularly upscale about. For breakfast they had various cold items out buffet-style. If you wanted to order a hot meal (no additional charge) you had to order with the staff. However, there was only one staff and they apparently had to leave and walk to the restaurant to place each order. That resulted in a fairly long wait time. The omelette I had was overall quite good, but I wish they could work on the process a bit. Overall, this is a decent and convenient hotel for a night's stay at Heathrow Terminal 5.

You're right in the west end and can easily get to everything that London has to offer. Covent Garden is a great place to stay and is convenient to dining, shopping and attractions. Despite being in the middle of everything, the hotel was quiet and devoid of noise. This made retiring to our room and resting up for our next day adventures easy. The rooms are tight but this is to be expected when staying in very popular, major city locations. The beds were wonderful; we slept very well. The bathrooms have clouded glass toilet and shower stalls which make for easy sharing of the room with family. The staff were absolutely wonderful...the were probably the best part of the stay. They were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and willing to assist with whatever you need. The only criticism I have is that the hotel is showing its age and could use a refresh. However, this would not deter us from staying again in the future. All in all, a great hotel!

Check in was a breeze and as our rooms were not ready we were given a free cocktail coupon for their amazing Coral Room bar. A must when staying . The lounge area and every part of this building was just so well taken care of and clean. I loved the old feel but still new and contemporary. They have a restaurant too but we didn't eat there. Looked great though. I didn't get a chance to take pics of the room as we rushed in and took it over which made it not picture worthy! Trust me when I say it is nice and comfortable and cozy. All amenities are there and I loved the coffee and cookies every morning. Minutes from tube station and walking distance to lots of sights and restaurants and shopping. Perfect place to stay . I will most definitely be back here.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff and service…read more I planned to stay at the Bloomsbury for 5 nights and it ended up being 6 due to a last minute travel change. At every step, from the moment I walked up to the front stairs, the staff was extremely hospitable. In terms of comfort, the front lobby area also has a relaxing fireplace and beverages if for any reason you need to chill in the lobby. The wifi also works on this floor. When I was visiting, one of the elevators was out of service and unfortunately the working elevator also broke down once or twice. That said, the staff went out of their way to be helpful because of this. There was clear signage that explained the situation and the staff called my room proactively ahead of my checkout to arrange bringing my luggage downstairs for me. They also comped one of the breakfasts that I ate at the hotel for the inconvenience. The hotel room itself was very comfy. The bed was very soft with lots of pillows and an extra blanket. The turndown service was also a nice touch. When I first arrived, I was gifted a box of delicious macaroons. Every night, they also restock the room's bottled water and leave a little chocolate near your bedside. The closet was very spacious and the bathroom had modern finishes, which I appreciated. I had to call the front desk for more hangers and they quickly brought them up. The room did not have an iron, but I'm sure they would have brought that, too, upon request. The room even had a North American travel outlet - which really worked out for me because I forgot to bring an adaptor! The only downside to the room itself was that the fridge was tiny and only had enough room for the offerings from the hotel. That said, I read that the hotel is willing to store things for you if needed. Last but not least, on the day of my scheduled checkout, I quickly realized that due to some train disruptions, I was going to need to stay for another night. The staff was empathetic and allowed me to lurk in the lobby and figure out my next steps. They advised me on the best way to extend my stay for another night and they were able to show me to my new room a few hours earlier than the regular check-in time. I'll also give kudos to the bar at the Bloomsbury - great food, vibes, and cocktails! I would definitely recommend the Bloomsbury to other travelers. The hotel is also within walking distance to the underground, several bus stops, and close to so much shopping, food options, and more! I walked from here to the British Library. Enjoy your stay!

Not great things- the room is literally at angle and I already had a little touch of vertigo when I got off the plane. That didn't help and out of three nights, I was only able to sleep maybe 11 hours total. Beds are not comfy, no AC, and no lift. The pictures on the website looked nothing like our room...I did my research and felt incredibly mislead. There is nobody on the property working after 10:30pm. It was fine for us, but what happens if something goes wrong? You get what you pay for. If you're traveling alone and need a night to crash- this would probably be the most cost effective. If you're wanting to enjoy the experience, find a better place.

The rooms are decent albeit on the smaller size, but that is to be expected. We honestly didn't spend too much time in the room as we were out exploring most days. Sadly the room was a little on the dirty/dusty side. The cabinet shelves had dust on the which I didn't discover until after I put shirts on them. Also the bathroom vent barely worked and was filled with debris and dust (hence why it didn't work). The bathroom also constantly had a funky mildewy smell to it. We ended up keeping the room's window open the entire time we were there to help cool the room (No A/C only a fan - which we knew about) and to help with the bathroom humidity and smell. The place had a few things to help modernize (like the bathroom) but the sleeping room was a bit run down with cracking and dinged up walls and big cracks in the ceiling. The only saving grace for the hotel was the amazing breakfast that was included in the price we paid. We were able to get a full English breakfast and items from the continental spread each morning. The ladies working were very friendly and helpful.

As part of a press trip with VisitBritain, I was privy to check into this quaint 82 room collection of seven Georgian townhouses and two mew homes. I arrived earlier than scheduled, so since my room was not ready, I was advised to take a load off and take full advantage of their study located in the lobby area. I was able to plug in and use their (quick) Wi-Fi, which was great since I need to get some work done. When my room was available the bell boy was quick to grab my luggage and show me to my room. Upon entering where I would be resting my weary bones after a long night of flying, I was pleasantly surprised (...and for a good reason). The standard room in which was booked into was immaculate (although it was also a month old, so I would hope so) and was very inviting. The room included such great features as: Complimentary wireless internet access, which was super fast and always kept me connected. Complimentary Nespresso machine and Jina tea, which I did not use, but it looked nice. Complimentary soft drink bar, which I did use quite often during my stay. It was stocked with a six pack of coca cola, orange juice, apple juice, milk, champagne and two beers. All included in your rate! Flat screen television with Sky HD package that includes foreign channels. Want to watch a movie? Then head downstairs and borrow a DVD to use in your room's DVD player. Internet radio was next to my bed but did not work when I tried to use it. Also doubles as an iPod/iPhone dock. US and European adapters in the room, which came in handy since I had forgotten mine at home. Laptop sized safe. Super soft and comfortable beds with great comforters and pillows. Plus the best feature of all...a television in the bathtub! If you can pry yourself from your room, then head downstairs to The Arch London's beautifully decorated and extremely delicious restaurant called HUNter 486. One evening for dinner I ordered the steak tartare with a quail egg and french fries and was in culinary bliss. So perfectly prepared and all that goodness was washed down with a local English stout that was recommended by one of the restaurant's managers. Enjoy some afternoon tea (or a few adult cocktails) in the super cozy Martini Library, located on the lobby floor. The Arch London is centrally located to all that London has to offer. You are within walking distance to such attractions as Hyde Park (which is just down the block), numerous cafes, trendy Oxford Street and the Marble Arch Underground station. Although it is still working out very minor kinks, which is natural for any new hotel, The Arch London is simply brilliant and definitely worth a stay the next time you are in London. For all you gym rats out there, and I am surely not one of them, The Arch London also offers a gym on the property. Reception/Front Desk: The reception is located directly to the left as you enter the hotel. There are 2 to 3 people sitting at reception and are all friendly and willing to help. Lobby: The lobby is small, but quaint with a sitting room and also off to the side is another smaller room. Room: Our room was located on the fifth floor. It was a nice size and was very comfortable. Safe: Traditional hotel safe located in the closet. Control Panel: No control panel and regular TV remote control. Minibar: Regular mini bar, but the one thing that I was excited about was that it also had milk for your coffee. Nice job Arch London because so many hotels do not do that. Mirrors: Large mirror in the closet door and also in front of the desk. Housekeeping: Housekeeping was the only weak link at the hotel. I left the hotel early in the morning a and returned back at 2:30 PM assuming that our room would have been cleaned by then. I walked in and it wasn't cleaned so I called the front desk. Someone did come quickly to start cleaning the room in which I then left to sit in the lobby which wasn't ideal. When I came back to the room it was clean but a couple of things were not replaced in the bath room such as towels and amenities. Wifi: Good speed. Dining: They have one restaurant with in which they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Spa/Gym/Pool: We did not make use of any of the spa or the gym. The hotel does not have a pool. Concierge: Friendly and helpful. Style: Modern, but yet still traditional. Service: Overall the service is good. Dog Friendly? Yes, very dog friendly. The cost is £15/day. They provide you with a bed and food and water bowl. They also have a doggy menu if you would like to order room service for your dog. One thing to note is that you are not allowed in the restaurant with your dog, but they have two alternate rooms (the sitting room off the lobby and also the library) where you can sit with your dog and also order from the restaurant. They will come and serve you there which is great! Would I go back? Yes, because overall it was a good location, nice rooms, reasonably priced, and was dog friendly.
