Best hotel in town. The staff is awsome. Very clean hotel. Wifi, pool, breakfast and weight room along with much more.

I travel alot for business. After checking in, I proceeded to room and open the door it smelled like bigfoot stayed here last and asked to change room. No problem we move across the hall, that night my work partner and I were awaken by water running out of the ceiling and after 2 hours had to move again to a small room so we could go to sleep. Then when we got back from work I had to call them to request a larger room like we were paying for. You guessed it, they put us back in the same room that was flooded told us it was all clean up and said there was no other rooms available the carpet was still wet and we had to keep our slippers on. The next day we get back for work and the carpet smells bad. No other rooms available so I ask for air Freshener and Initially they said they didn't have any but the maintenance man overheard My conversation and make me up some. With 2 more nights to stay In this h*** hole. read more

Great staff, clean room, quiet night. The pools were closed due to Covid, which is understandable and we knew about it before we arrived. But they looked like nice pools, so hopefully we will be back when they're open. It was a nice hotel to stay at while in Fallon. We had a suite with a balcony that overlooked the outdoor pool and we were able to sit out there and watch a hawk on the grass below. Will definitely stay again next time we find ourselves in Fallon. read more

The physical building looks good from the outside but the inside is dated and starting to show its age. Hotel is now almost 15 years old and they haven't done much except some new carpet in the corridor. Biggest problem is the same as other have mentioned, and that's terrible management. Manager treats guests with total contempt and holds none of the staff accountable and they know this and don't care. Hopefully whoever owns this hotel will wake up and hire a manager that gets it. The current manager is not serving ownership well. While older buildings, the owners and managers across the street at Best Western are fantastic and really nice people and a better choice, and the Comfort Inn which uses to be dark and dingy has gone through a total remodel and is also a good choice. Rooms are much more updated than Holiday Inn with new big tabs and excellent beds read more

My husband left his watch and quickly turned back around after he checked out. The front desk said the maids stated they didn't find anything in the room. My husband asked to go check the room. The front desk gave him permission to go back the room because he knew exactly where he left the watch. The room hadn't been cleaned yet and the watch was nowhere in site. My husband intuition said to check the maid cart in front of the room. He found his watch in the maid's cubby! read more

I come up to Fallon about twice a year for work and I've stayed at a couple other places in town and this is the place I will forever go to. Located on the main drag the place is easy to find. Staff is professional and attentive. Two things that stand out the most about this place is the grounds, it is kept very nice and groomed. And secondly, I know this should be a standard at all hotels but the cleanliness of the place. From my room, the the breakfast area to the guest bathroom. The staff does an awesome job to have this place looking and feeling good. They have two pools but I've never had time to give them a try. I usually find myself here on the hottest days of the year and the AC is always blasting cold for me. If you are making a pit stop or for whatever else reason, try this Holiday Inn, you won't be disappointed . read more

Confused reservation staff. Took 15 minutes to make a two night reservation. Checked in and went to room for a nap. Got waken by houskeeping supervisor checking on the room. Did not know I had checked in. So much for the nap. Got called a few hours later and asked if I was the guy who called about the air conditioning not working. Nope. When it came time to check out, had problems with the bill. But the real kicker was they posted onto my credit card the agreed sum plus $25. They said that was for "incidentals" and it would drop off in a few days. Which it did. But if they do that to everyone, how much extra cash do they have in the bank collecting some interest? If that was the end of the story, I would give them three starts. But it is not. TWO MONTHS LATER they went and not only charged me AGAIN for the one night I was to pay, they charged me another night which was suppose to be paid by the hospital. Why did the hospital not pay? Seems the Holiday Inn screwed up the reservation to the point they had no way of printing out a bill to give to the hospital!! No bill so the hospital did not pay. So now I have to get the hospital to pay for the one night they owe so Holiday Inn will drop the $180+ they stuck on my credit card. Talk about using money to get others to do your JOB!!. I either have to run around and get the hospital to pay for one night or I am out an additional $180+ .. The real hoot about this is I have a receipt for the one night I paid at the time I paid it. They have that also but they still charged me for two nights. (Nice thing about paying by credit card is you can dispute the charges, putting the ball back into their field, making them prove I owe for two nights...) I started staying at a different hotel the next trip and I sure am glad I did. Having to do their job once is bad enough, having to do it over and over again would be a nightmare. They now get demoted to one star. (I would go with zero if that was an option!) read more

I spent a night here on way home to Calif. It was my first time in a HIE. I got, to use a pun my dad would say, " The Lawrence Welk Treatment". Rooms were very comfortable, the Continental Breakfast was the best I ever has in a hotel and the only one that could match it was of course, another Holiday Inn Express in Willows, Ca. I like that they had a Internet room. The location isn't bad unless you prefer to be within walking distance of amenities downtown. Fallon for so long has lacked quality Hotels. Not to infer the older ones are bad but it's nice there are newer ones moved in. This is indeed, one of Fallon s Finest. read more

This is probably the best place to stay in Fallon. That's not a knock on the Holiday Inn as much as it is on the other places. Surprisingly, it is not the most expensive place in town. We only stayed one day, but took in most of what they offered: indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, fitness room and a free breakfast (which wasn't bad!). The rooms were clean and the facility is very well kept. Not sure why this is grouped together with the Stockman's Casino. The casino is on the road and separate from the Holiday Inn (the Inn is set back from the main drag). read more

You know, I could write out a long, drawn out review on this place, but it just isn't worth it. Checking in took 45 minutes, the bed was uncomfortable, the room smelled like flatus, the blackout curtains didn't close all the way, the wifi sucked, and the AC did nothing. To top it all off, the front desk agent recommended the Steakhouse and Stockman's Casino for their excellent food and great service - but to be fair, someone who takes 45 minutes to check in two parties probably thinks 2 hour dinners are normal. Save yourself the trouble, pass by Fallon all together, and go stay in Reno or somewhere worth stopping in. read more

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express over 100 times. When you stay somewhere this often, you really get to know the ins and outs of the service and staff. These folks always treated me well, learned to expect my 2am arrival times and always greeted me by name when I walked through the door. I've tried a few other places in Fallon and this is the only one worth staying in period. read more

Room was fine. It was clean.Comfortable beds. Toilet in first room didn't work so girl at front desk relocated us right away. She was very accommodating. Free breakfast was what you'd expect. Not too appetizing and pancake machine not working. Windows around pool were dirty and lobby was dirty. read more

While I'm sure this has all the amenities of any HIE, I can't confirm that because the night manager gave away our rooms. While traveling on business we booked rooms knowing Fallon was as far as we could make it that day. We received confirmation emails for each room. Upon arrival the front desk told us that the reservations had been "lost" and now the hotel is fully booked for the night. If you're loyal to HIE it's probably fine but if you value integrity, choose another place. read more

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. A larger fitness center would be nice, but everything worked properly. The outdoor pool area was relaxing and well-kept. This is probably the best hotel option in Fallon. read more

Only positive thing is the friendly staff. Room was spacious but extremely dated for an IHG room. Went through 4 remotes for my tv before we found one that worked. Tried to use the treadmill and it was broken. No ice machine on the main floor. Went to breakfast and it was me and two other people. Pretty nice for a Holiday Inn Express. Courteous staff at the front desk. They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, with an inside hot-tub. Fairly nice fitness center. The breakfast doesn't have as many options as other Holiday Inn Expresses, but it's just minor. I like my cup of oatmeal and they didn't have the flavor of oatmeal I prefer. They have both regular and decaf coffee going during the day. The room was spacious and clean. The only demerit on the room is no microwave, but they have a microwave in the lobby. One of the nicer Holiday Inn Expresses. i'm a fan. read more

My husband and I usually go to Reno for our anniversary over Fourth of July weekend. This year we thought we would live local and rent a room at the holiday in express. When I made the reservations I was quite clear that the reason we were staying at this hotel was because of the outdoor pool. When I checked in on Friday they gave me the pool hours and the breakfast hours. When we came in after dinner for the evening there were signs on the pool door saying that the pool was closed for maintenance. I spoke to the front desk and they thought maybe it could be open by the following day. I'm checking the following morning the girl at the counter was reluctant to give me any information about the pool. When I pressed her she found out that the pool would not be open for the entire weekend. We checked out early and went to the Best Western. The whole reason for coming to this hotel was for the outdoor pool and to support a local business. Why the hotel would decide to do cleaning maintenance on the pool on the weekend of Fourth of July instead of during the week prior to the Fourth of July I will never know! The hotel was nice and the location was great. The indoor pool was open 24hrs which was great since we checked in late. However, I only give this place 3 stars since I was woken up at 7:50am to constant knocking from house keeping asking us what time we were planning on checking out although checkout wasn't until 12pm! Also, my children and I went to breakfast at 9:15am and the lady had already started cleaning everything so there was nothing but yogurt and cereal left. I asked her if there was still food and she was very rude and said no we close at 9:30am, i said oh I would of came earlier but my baby slept in and she said oh well you should of came and got them some food and took it back, I said no I didn't want to leave them alone in the room. She was very upset cleaning and making loud noises with the pans so we just left. If your an early riser with no kids then this would be a good hotel but if you have children I don't recommend it. read more

I love the Holiday Inn Express in Fallon, NV. It is a great location right in the middle of town so I was able to walk ten minutes to a restaurant call The Wok that they suggested; great sushi by the way. It is the only place to stay in Fallon. The staff was very nice. Every time I came down to ask the front desk a question, they would helped me with no problems. They have brand new Flat screen TVs in the rooms which was awesome because I could watch the Baseball game in HD! Plus they have free breakfast and free wife; you can't get any better than this. read more

They charge my CC for a pillow that I did not take, bed was old, the smell of old cigs made me want to puke and the manager needs to go back to school. I would never stay here again, don't let the river rock and nice cut grass fool you. read more

We always stay at this Holiday Inn when we go to Sand Mountain. Have been for years now. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean, and we find the beds very comfortable. The rooms are larger than most hotels. A/C and heat have always functioned well for us. Have rarely used the pool, but seems well heated. Good indoor pool for kids. We have always thought that the free breakfast is adequate for the price. We have had no complaints. We stayed there recently, and have to say that the women running the breakfast bar was outstanding! Remember, she does not get tips. Although, I was so impressed with her concerns for the customers, and friendly demeanor, that I gave her a tip. She was surprised, and stated that that was only the second time she received a tip. Come on people! Reward great customer service! Especially when they don't expect it. This Hotel will always be our go-to place to stay in Fallon. For a great dinner in Fallon, try the Slanted Porch. A little pricey, but worth it. I only wish we found them sooner. read more

this is by far the most clean and modern hotel in Fallon! We blocked out 17 rooms for our weekend wedding. The staff was so nice and professional and most importantly helpful with coordinating all the rooms and making sure all our guests had what they needed. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, well organized with a wide variety. Crystal and Paige are great with customer service, and the manager Carol too. If you are looking to stay a night or month in Fallon, book at this hotel! read more

This place is filthy and the staff is terrible. The General Manager (who is married) is known for sleeping with multiple guests. They are always loosing employees for working them off the clock, treating them terribly and underpaying them. The rooms are only cleaned once every few months. Housekeepers go in and do a quick vacuum job and tidy up the beds for the next guest. They typically leave old linen in the rooms and just tighten it up so that it looks up touched. Worst place to stay in Fallon. Look behind the headboard and between/underneath mattresses for your special surprise. Who knows, you could get anything from a used condom,dirty towel, or rappers from previous guests' food.Have a nice stay :D read more
