This newly opened mini golf and bar combo is an interesting concept and will wow and dizzy you when you first walk in!
There is a buzz and activity everywhere, and it is absolutely chaotic. The queue to the front desk, the payment system, the giant gum ball machine that dispenses golf balls, and the confusion of where to start, why some people get table service but some do not.
The site consists of several floors of mini golf courses. The ground floor level also has a bar. When you try to get to the bar, you also have to contest with the crowds gathered around their holes trying to putt.
The holes are fun. Plenty of lights, colours and variation between each. But the question is, will you get there? I ask this because it is SO CROWDED!!!
There is no crowd control. It doesn't matter what time you book it for, because no one is confirming you start at the time of your booking.
It takes forever to get a drink at the bar. There's two staff members when the whole ground floor is packed. We had to wait ten plus minutes to be served.
You are given gold coins to operate the giant gum ball machines to dispense a golf ball. But if you guess wrong the number of people turning up in your group, or the fact that there is simply no space to putt, the staff at the cashier give you a hard time and insist there's "no refunds". Although, the business has not provided you with the service, they insist on charging you! (I have watched enough episodes of "The Checkout" to know this is not on!)
The managers are rude, and childish.
If you want to go check it out, I suggest going at a really quiet time so you can enjoy the round, or just pop in for a drink so you can see how other putters are doing.
Alternatively, you can go next door for decent drinks and service. read more
