Golf practice range with about 40 bays. Pay $2 extra and you can hit irons-only off the grass. Has a bunker to practice in and a chipping practice area (also extra charge). Faces south so think about where the sun will be before you go or go with good sunglasses. Has a large staff of teachers and is a teaching base for one of the golf associations. Has a small synthetic putting green that is super quick and a larger grass green that is very rough and slow at the moment (March 2012). The balls are yellow and a bit harder than you might like. It is useful prior to play at the nearby Sandringham or Cheltenham public courses. I like it mainly for the ability to hit off the grass. read more
