Usually in good condition as that part of Melbourne is a drainage area so the course stays pretty green. One of the few courses around where you can arrive by tram.

Some even have beers in hand when not slogging said balls. Albert Park driving range has 2 levels to smack your balls. You can hire loads of balls (100) for under $20. They also have a putting area to hone your close range skills. And they offer a basic tuition lesson for those who are keen. It's a basic driving range and it could perhaps have a larger refreshment area, but it does sell beer which I thought was a winner and you can also have fun by trying to hit the ball cart when it's out picking up balls.
