We stopped by today for donuts and coffee. Apparently this is now just an arcade? The kids loved the games, but the donuts were not good. You could tell they were several days old, and the selection was super minimal. Coffee was decent, service was very good, but the cool coffeeshop atmosphere is totally gone. I can't imagine that this change has been taken well by customers, I would love for them to turn things around. read more

This is a great hang out spot with spacious seating areas and large chess/checkers boards on the tables. The coffee is quite good, and the cake donut was good also. They also sell popcorn, chocolates, honey, and there were a few cookies and hand pies available yesterday. They also have several flavors of ice cream. I think this is a great place to have coffee with a friend or family member, sit and chat. It's not a huge menu food/drink wise, so if you go into it looking for coffee or a snack, you should come out satisfied. read more

We came here for last minute entertaining for our 3.5 yr old son on NYE after dinner. My son had the best time ever, had a donut and got his toys. After we left and drove by we realized they closed at 8pm and we didn't leave till after 8:30 but they never said a word and let us play till we were done. I just thought that was so nice! Hole Lotta Doughnut in Boone I thought I would go in and get a great doughnut... nope. The women working there were nice it was 5 pm they close at 6 pm. At that time there was not much of a selection so I go a lemon filled. As you can see from the picture there was maybe a table spoon of lemon. The lemon had good flavor but over all it was all dough. They don't make the doughnuts there they get them from somewhere else ( I forgot where she said) I also wanted something gluten free for a friend they only had a plain piece o plain cheese cake. I always want to stop here when in Boone. Tonight my cousin and I stopped in and we were helped by Preston. He was so kind, attentive, personable, and helpful. We were in town for Parent's Weekend and got a bit stranded, there were no Ubers avl and because we aren't students we couldn't get a Beep. But, Preston quickly looked up who was working and messaged a wonderful young college girl. Caitlyn picked us up within 10 mins or so and Preston checked to make sure it was the female driver he requested before telling us our ride was there. What a gentleman and such a helpful young man. Thank you Preston. P.S. there was a homeless man in the shop as well and Preston treated him with complete respect and showed interest in conversing as well. More people should strive to be like Preston. read more

The service was friendly, the donuts were excellent. Each of the flavors were different and interesting and all were excellent. I loved it. I also liked the size of the donuts. They were much larger than the average Krispy Kreme and were priced the same. It was a great place and I would recommend it to locals and tourists alike. read more

I got doughnuts from here on Friday and they were pretty good. However upon eating my apple fritter this morning I found a black hair completely baked into it. Like you could pick it up by this hair EW. I'm hoping it was an isolated incident but I'm not sure I'll go back. We found this little gem on an escape weekend. The doughnuts were delicious, the service was friendly, and the interior spacious (and fairly empty - which made us comfortable eating inside during these COVID times). Our favorites - the Lemon Poppy Lemon, Glazed and the Apple Fritter. Unfortunately the latte wasn't amazing, and the only tea selection they had was licorice. The service and the atmosphere are wonderful. The namesake, donuts, are not good. We went on a Sunday morning so we didn't try any of their other food offerings. We purchased seven donuts and an apple fritter. The donuts were dry, scant on glaze, and dense. The lemon strawberry tasted like a plain donut. The apple fritter was also dry. I'd go again just for the atmosphere and a drink but wouldn't eat the donuts. read more

Although they have a very limited selection of doughnuts because they get them from another location, their doughnuts are probably the best donuts you'll ever eat in your life.
