This place has really gone downhill. Donuts and fritters are dry and stale. I hate it because we were long-time, frequent patrons under the old management. Won't go back. Picture is 2022 vs. today. Y'all can see the quality difference.

    Lemon filled?

Hole Lotta Doughnut in Boone I thought I would go in and get a great doughnut... nope. The women working there were nice it was 5 pm they close at 6 pm. At that time there was not much of a selection so I go a lemon filled. As you can see from the picture there was maybe a table spoon of lemon. The lemon had good flavor but over all it was all dough. They don't make the doughnuts there they get them from somewhere else ( I forgot where she said) I also wanted something gluten free for a friend they only had a plain piece o plain cheese cake. My friend said it was ok.

These are impressively large donuts: Maple, Caramel, Cake Sprinkles, Cherry Filled, Peanut Butter Choc, and Choc glazed

The service was friendly, the donuts were excellent. Each of the flavors were different and interesting and all were excellent. I loved it. I also liked the size of the donuts. They were much larger than the average Krispy Kreme and were priced the same. It was a great place and I would recommend it to locals and tourists alike.

Apple fritter with hair in it

I got doughnuts from here on Friday and they were pretty good. However upon eating my apple fritter this morning I found a black hair completely baked into it. Like you could pick it up by this hair EW. I'm hoping it was an isolated incident but I'm not sure I'll go back. I'm pretty bummed because the Apple fritter was actually pretty good but also concerned because I found the hair when I had already eaten half.

    a variety of doughnuts

We found this little gem on an escape weekend. The doughnuts were delicious, the service was friendly, and the interior spacious (and fairly empty - which made us comfortable eating inside during these COVID times). Our favorites - the Lemon Poppy Lemon, Glazed and the Apple Fritter. Unfortunately the latte wasn't amazing, and the only tea selection they had was licorice. Not a big deal though, because the doughnuts were awesome!

Cool arcade vibe and good coffee. Barista Mary Kathryn sure can make a good cappuccino!

Advertises Keto donuts but actually no longer sells them. Bummer. What they do have looks great - just not Keto.

The donuts are too expensive. The donuts are dry and flavorless. There are not enough varieties.

It's a big donut but just ok. I was really excited to try it but I've had better donuts and way cheaper prices.

I have mixed feelings about this place…read more We stumbled upon this place while walking down sides streets, after having a not so great breakfast elsewhere. It looked really cute and funky and I was looking to get a coffee to go. I noticed a small building that looked like a bakery and indeed had bakery goods and cupcakes inside. I went in, hoping to get a coffee and a cupcake. There was someone working behind the counter but she never looked up or said a thing to me. I thought maybe I shouldn't have been there, so I left. We went inside the building and finally someone asked if they could help us and they did go get me a coffee. We noticed there was a bar inside the larger building and my husband started chatting up the woman there (who I'm 99% sure was the owner) but she was super bitchy and not having any part of the conversation. That was enough for me (you don't me around? fine, I'll stay away) but for some reason my husband really found that bar charming and a few days later we went back. Luckily for us, Patrick was bartending that night! He was super friendly, and we spent the evening chatting with him. The drinks were good, and we did order dinner that we both enjoyed. He really made the night a fun one. If I was back in the area, we'd probably stop back in, and hope Patrick was working!

Like others have mentioned, the woman who answered was very rude and with an attitude. This was the conversation: "hi, is this the cupcrazed cafe in blowing rock?" "how can I help you" "what are your hours today?" "we're not open" "so are you guys permanently closed?" "We're not open" "okay, what time do you guys open?" "we're not open this weekend" "okay bye bye". For whatever reason, they don't want customers, and they don't want people to know when they're open. Wild if people think they can run a restaurant that way. You couldn't pay me to go there now

Coffee Shop No. 492 Camp Coffee Roasters…read moreBlowing Rock NC April 9 2025 Camp Coffee Roasters is a little coffee shop in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, a charming little mountain village. The downtown area sits about a mile from the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway (connects the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina to the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia). Camp Coffee Roasters has a cozy vibe and an obvious appreciation for the outdoors. It might have something to do with their neighbors; Footloggers, an outdoor store. Be sure to climb the stairs near the front door of the coffee shop. They lead to a loft, overlooking Footloggers, where you can relax in a wing back chair or get some work done at a table near a window. The barista was friendly and made a respectable cortado. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

This time, however, my mom and I were extremely disappointed. We were served by a young man who seemed to be the owner's son, while the owner and another young man stood behind the counter. He forgot to ask what sizes we wanted, and when I got my Campfire Cold Brew, it came without cream. The menu clearly said: Cold brew, marshmallow, Hershey chocolate, and cream. I thought maybe it wasn't my drink, but the young man confirmed it was. When I asked if it was supposed to have cream, he said no, but that he could add some. I double-checked the menu: "It says it comes with cream." That's when an older woman suddenly appeared, glaring. "There's cream right there," she snapped. I'm guessing she was his mom, given her signature mama bear energy. Sorry, lady! I was just trying to make sure I got what I paid for, especially since two small coffees cost $16. Anyway, if you're looking for an adventure, head to Camp Coffee. You might not see a wild bear in the mountains, but you just might meet one behind the counter
