My jaw literally dropped upon arriving at this place. I couldn't understand what the fuss was all about when I first heard about Hole in the Wall... That was until I finally got to check the place out for myself. It's pretty much a "cool kids" kind of cafeteria. Well, to me, that's what it felt like. Really hip interiors, design, and furniture. I really like the fact that the servers roaming the area provide cold water, and extra place if needed. They also offer to wrap your unfinished food up when they've noticed that you are done eating. The choices of restaurants/stores here are of places I have not seen outside Century Mall such as Bad Bird (which sells the famous Umami Burger of theirs, and their corn on a cob is quite simple, PERFECT!), Scout's Honor, Posporo, Kwongs, Mr. Delicious, and many more! I've gone to Hole in the Wall more than four times, and I still need a bunch more visits to satisfy my curiosity with this awesome and quirky place. Seriously, I'm running out of money just wanting to try all the food options in Hole in the Wall.

Foodcourts are typically mundane affairs, populated by outlets that promise a food experience that, while usually far from fancy, are satisfying enough (taking the price point into context). Not Hole in the Wall. This place is fancy with a capital F. The modern looks, combining industrial elements with stone and wood, are optimized for Instagramming. The food selection does not fail the aesthetic promise, ranging from an amazing umami fried chicken (Bad Bird) to excellent Vietnamese (Phobobo). One stall even allows you to design your own cookies and match them with milk. Hole In The Wall is spacious enough to accommodate even large groups with ease. There is outside seating and a second floor. The smoking area is a few steps away, and gives a great view of the Century Properties development going on around. Ventilation is sufficient to ensure that you won't end up smelling like food, which is often a concern with other foodcourts. The great food and equally great ambience do come at a price, though. If you don't watch your budget, spending upward of PhP500 is easy (but worth it, in my opinion). This is a great place to take a date who prefers a cool vibe to a romantic one.

This place is amazing. Imagine a communal food hall. Long tables, stools and hard-backed chairs, tiny nooks with couches and low coffee tables, and a bunch of amazing food stalls that will fulfill just about any craving. Still with me? Now, wipe the drool off your face and keep reading. If you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, you can try the pho bo noodle soup from Phobobo, or anything on the Filipino-Chinese menu of Kwong's Prohibition. For Filipino comfort food, go for gourmet turo-turo Posporo. The Beef offers classic burgers, while Bad Bird has fried chicken served with their secret sauces. For those who came here for dessert, thou shalt not be dismayed. The Green Cheese's souffle cake, eclairs from the Tiny Duchess, and cookies from Scout's Honor should tide you over. There's even al fresco seating for the adventurous souls.

Found on the last floor of Century City Mall, this food court offers a variety of cuisines and dessert stands. Seats are provided both indoors and out which waiters help you finding and also bring you iced water. You can find anything from dim sum, sandwiches, cookies and cheesecakes! I tried almost all the stands in here and my favourite combinations are pho and cookies for dessert!

"food court" style place with great dishes. If you're in a bit of a hurry but want good food, check this place out. It's set up in the same way that the top floor of Japanese department stores are - once you get to the top of the mall you can meander through little food stalls that serve some really good food. The place has a clean, relaxed ambiance and their staff is really helpful. Try the fish tacos at Posporo, any of the burgers at the beef, the umami fried chicken plate (with dirty rice) at Bad Bird, or make your own cookie at Scout's Honor. Fun place!

Very tourist-friendly food court for a foreigner staying in Manila! After my American tummy was getting homesick from weeks of kamayan and lechon fiestas, Hole in the Wall was there when I needed it. If you want pizza, fried chicken, and burgers (that taste good), with a fusion kick, it's there. Best to go in a big group so you can try and share a little bit of everything. My favorites were the Umami Chicken and Pork Shawarma. The cookie place was an interesting concept! If I find myself in Manila again, I know where to go if I have a homesick stomach.

I LOVE the concept of Hole in the Wall - the first time I got inside I was floored by how pretty the place looked like. It makes you feel like you're in downtown Brooklyn, and that you're surrounded with so many bespoke looking shops. I love how the place doesn't have uniform seating. Couches, odd looking chairs, it's really the way Century Mall mixed and matched the look of things. It's unlike any other food court - for one you get some "butler" action with the waiters roving around the area to serve you water. (I mean who does that right? In most food courts, they don't even offer water.) The outdoor seating is beautiful especially during sunset. You can somehow see the skyline of Makati. I love the space as well - it's not cramped up so you can easily feel calm and freely discuss stuff with friends.

Liberation Shawarma with rice, bad bird's umami fried chicken, and some soft tacos from Posporo.

For a place that was so busy, surprisingly, it wasn't too noisy and we were able to carry out a conversation. The staff was very attentive, and it seemed like we had multiple people serving us Like most groups, we dined family style. We shared everything that we ordered and every dish was scrumptious. Three of us reside overseas so we were all looking frward to authentic Filipino foods. This place rose to the occasion. The standout was the fish that was filleted and deep-fried, and spread out like a butterfly so it was easy to take a piece off. The fish was cooked perfectly, that is, it wasn't overcooked like most fried fish dishes would be. All of us asked for fresh buko (coconut) juice servied in a whole coconut. However, the coconut was no longer young coconut that usually has soft meat that we can spoon up. instead, it was more "niyog" or mature coconut that needed to be cut up which the staff did for us.

On this visit I had the following items: - Crispy Tadyang - Bamboo Rice The Tadyang (fried short ribs) was incredible - tender, yet crispy and full of flavor. There's a nice portion of beef that arrives in the order, so it's very satisfying. The rice has an interesting flavor profile since it's mixed with spices and shrimp...it's definitely an interesting rice dish you won't find anywhere else. Abe has a huge menu that showcases the diversity in Philippine cuisine. The fact that it includes appetizers, salads, soups, mains, sides and desserts means you'll leave a very satisfied customer. Can't wait for my next visit!

The portion was moderate and it can feed 2 people. It was hot and crunchy and the sauce was pretty good. The pinakbet with pork liempo was awesome, please keep in mind that pinakbet in some regions are cooked without the sabaw (sauce). The eggplant was definitely fried. The bitter melon and the kombucha squash were steamed well. The pork was super crunchy!!! Please also note that one order of pinakbet will probably good for 2 people but I can definitely devour it on my own! The kare kare with crispy pork was also good. The sauce was slurry and not too thick. The string beans, banana heart (puso ng saging) and bok choy were steamed and cooked well. They were not soggy but crunchy. Also the eggplant was fried and added with the sauce. When you order kare kare it automatically comes with sautéed shrimp paste. This dish alone will probably feed 4 people. Overall the service was great, we did not wait long for the food, and we were seated right away since we arrived there around 11:45ish. The restaurant was clean and quite cozy. There's one bathroom for both genders. Total of all the meals including 1 sugarcane calamansi juice refill P1745.00 (also includes gratuity charges).

Every single location delivered the same top-notch service and excellent food. It seemed that there was always a waiting list. But what they did that was so smart was give us the menu and and an order form and that gave us the time to peruse the menu, decide what we want and place our orders. By the time we sat down, it didn't take long before our orders were delivered. The first time we dined, there were only two of us, so we ordere the small plates. Another smart idea to have the choice of small, medium and large orders depending on the number of people. We've always dined family style so we were able to taste different foods. We've ordered the essential Filipino foods i.e., different kinds of sisig, salpicao, sinigang, adobo, pancit palabok, buko pie, puto bumbong, halo halo. The garlic rice was fine as well. The turon didn't have bananas in it but mangoes instead. I had thought it would have had both mangoes and bananas, but was mistaken. Overall, a decent place for casual sit-down vibes.
