Hola Seoul offers some great takeout options -- prices are reasonable and the food quality is good, it presents a great value for the cost as well. The portion sizes are solid and I'd say 2-3 tacos would easily fill up the average person. Their Kimchi fries are decadent and honestly probably a bit too rich for my palate, but still packed with great taste, and make a good option to share with a large group. The restaurant itself seems to be just another name for (or perhaps inside of) Dae Jang Keum, but packaged in a way that's more appealing for the online ordering market (Grubhub, ChowNow, Yelp, etc.). When you go to pick up, you'll enter Dae Jang Keum and just mention that you're there to pick up -- on my latest visit, staff was wearing masks, but you'll note they've opened up indoor dining so there will be people inside the restaurant without masks. Overall, it's really nice to see another option for Korean takeout in the Novi/ Farmington Hills area, and Hola Seoul doesn't disappoint in bringing a menu of great options with it!

Best Korean fried chicken in Michigan. The wings/drumsticks are big and juicy. The double fried method leads to crispy chicken without too much grease. Best of all, their soy garlic sauce is my all time favorite! I could go on and on. Make sure you also try their Korean tacos! Yum!

Ordered online for takeout. Order was ready ahead of expected time. Customers are allowed with masks only. Had sanitizer near the entrance. Staff was also wearing masks and gloves. Ordered deep fried dumplings, wings (spicy) and popcorn chicken ( half and half). I liked wings very much. It was juicy. Dumplings was also good. One less star for pop corn chicken as few pieces were hard. But the portion size was generous. Would sure try other items in the menu next time

Tried Hola Seoul today and I will definitely be adding them to my list of go to places. I ordered the bulgogi taco, deep fried dumplings, Seoul dumplings and wings. The taco and wings were delicious! The wings are huge(full drumsticks) and so crispy, but not heavy in grease. I went half and half with the sauce and it was perfect in spice and sweetness. The taco was also really tasty with the bulgogi meat. The dumplings were just okay, not bad at all, just not on the same level as the wings. I was looking forward to the Seoul dumplings, they are like a pork bun, but the flavor was just okay. Maybe they will add pork buns to the menu at some point? All in all super tasty wings. My mouth is watering thinking about them.

Came here early on a Saturday right at opening. Was sat quickly and able to order. Order a little bit of everything because well everything just sounded so good! We ordered the popcorn chicken half and half and both sauces were delicious will order both again. The kimchi fries were flavor packed loaded and topped with spicy Mayo. The duk-bok-ki was good would've taken more of those instead of fish cake but that's neither here nor there. Can't wait to come back and try the tacos and Bibimbap!!

Called Hola Seoul but got Daejangeum

So this restaurant is Daejangeum with different name and different menu. When you call they will answer as Daejangeum so same Daejangeum food. Not too impressed since food had a piece of hair on it..

I did go back, but the "face people" speak almost no english and screwed up my order. Best order on the web and not in person.

Some of the best takeout Korean ever. A little bit of everything included with the meal and super yummy.

And they offer a cheeseburger on toast. All orders are cooked once placed, so there is about a 15 minute wait. But honestly, it is worth it! You can choose your spicy level from mild to extra hot. I love spice and usually stick with medium. The chicken sandwich and the byrd bomb is probably my favorite. As for the sides, the potato salad and fries are my fav. There are plenty of tables inside, so no need to worry about getting a table after you've placed your order. They also have music playing, which make the restaurant feel chill.

Super clean establishment, order at the counter, take a seat at one of the large tables and wait for your order. The food is halal, made to order, and the portions are large! I had to order a strawberry shake with my spicy chicken sandwich. I'm glad I did m. It cooled my palate right off. My son got the Byrd Bomb, a mash up of everything on a platter. Well worth the money (especially for his appetite!) I had to get a taste, and it was spicy, unique, and delicious! This is was our first time dining at a Byrds. We will definitely be back!

The bqq was just not good - not sweet, a weird kind of sour taste. The garlic parm was good but very lightly seasoned. The mango ones were good but kind of dry. Within a 2-mile radius, 3 popular eateries specialize in wings: Buffalo Wild Wings, Detroit Wing Company, and Wing Stop. The latter is the newest; I noticed it a few months ago. Wing Stop is mostly set up for pick-up, although there are a few tables at the front. A large counter that opens up into the spacious kitchen greets each guests. I had placed the order online for pick-up. Apparently, delivery is also available. I selected the 10-piece classic combo with Hawaiian and Maple Sriracha sauces. Along with these wings, I also had cheese fries. I'm glad I got the fries since they filled me up, as the wings were smaller than what I am accustomed to. Also, they were mostly drums instead of my preferred flats. However, both the sauces were flavorful. One was sweet, while the other was a bit spicy. The fries were better, though. They were thin but tender, with a nice cheese sauce. My other complaint is that the online order system indicated that this location has a Coke Freestyle machine. It doesn't - it just has a basic self-serve fountain machine. Service was quick and friendly - a bright spot in this restaurant.

My friend and I ordered takeout from here around 7pm on a weekday (during a snow storm, so not many people there). My friend ordered a buffalo chicken waffle bowl (waffle fries, chopped fried chicken, and choice of sauce) for $14 and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich (lettuce, tomato, pickles, mild house sauce) with a side of waffle fries for $11. The guy at the counter was really helpful and let me try the spicy house sauce before deciding whether I'd go with spicy or mild. It wasn't extremely spicy, but I just decided to go with the mild. We also had a coupon for 5 free wings with any purchase, so I chose garlic parmesan. First impression was that there was a ton of food in the waffle bowl - definitely a great value! Generous amount of chicken and fries. My chicken sandwich was pretty small, but still not bad for $7. As for the taste: unfortunately, the chicken in the bowl and my sandwich were overcooked and dry. The wings barely had any sauce on them (a couple of them were literally barren, and those were especially dry). The chicken sandwich was okay, just run of the mill. The waffle fries were more chewy than crunchy. And the buffalo sauce on the chopped chicken had a good flavor, but the dryness worked against it. Honestly, we got the impression that this was Gordon Food Service food that was heated up. We were excited to try out a new restaurant, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. It wasn't really bad, but not a place I'd push to return to.

Good variety on the menu beyond just the wings with items like smash burgers, loaded fries, various sandwiches, shakes, and several flavors of ice creams. Staff was friendly and wasn't a very long wait for the food. I had the Loaded chopped cheese bowl which was a very hefty portion and was hot, fresh, and quite tasty. Others with me also enjoyed the wings which are a nice size with a good amount of meat in addition to the smash burger which also left a positive impression. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.
