This place is under new ownership and reopened about 6 months go. To be honest, the food wasn't bad as I did enjoy it. Bibimbap has always been on the pricer side, but I feel they are even more pricer now. The chicken wings are 15$ and you only get 5/6 and a larger 27 for 10. I think that's very expensive. However, I did like the sweet hot flavor of the chicken wings. The bulgogi hot stone bowl was 24$ and the bowl was so small and you didn't even get rice cakes with them. I didn't like no did I hate the flavor. It was definitely more savory than the normal sweetness of bulgogi. The side dishes were lacking sadly. Maybe because it was closer to night, but I did not like the side dishes at all. The barely tea was still good. That was my favorite thing about this place and glad it did not change. The decorations are still kind of the same and it didn't look different. The service was also nice. The person helping us was nice e and we did get checked on. Even when we were done and just socializing we were helped.

NEW OWNERSHIP! New menu and some different items than are found in other Korean restaurants. Definitely coming back!!

This place is a cook your own food place they have everything you could imagine if I could I would rate infinite stars

Bulgolgi fried rice they made for our kids, off menu. The kids LOVED this.

We came back again and have never seen my kids eat as much food as they do here. Our favorites: Galbi tang (beef short rib soup), bugulgi fried rice (not on the menu, but they were able to make it upon request), and the seafood pancake. Service is so warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. My son says the ambiance is amazing. Prices are a bit higher (what isn't these days), but everything has been so fresh and consistent, it's absolutely worth it for us. Noticed beer in one of their coolers so they must have their liquor license now - would go perfectly with their fried chicken.

Though we ordered off the menu my Bibimbab and my husband's pork belly stir fry were very tasty and filling. The dishes came with Korean appetizers, fish cake, noodles, zucchini, bean sprouts, two types of Kimchi and miso soup. We redeemed a Groupon and it was well worth the price.

It's located inside of big building. Inside is clean and good ambience. Staff are very attentive and polite especially one of ladies was very kind to my daughter and felt very welcoming. I ordered bibimbap and it was hot and delicious. I didn't try many dishes but next time I definitely want to try Korean bbq.

    No yolk. And frozen

One of my favorite restaurants... is not surviving the covid aftermath. I've been here before on countless occasions. It was the first place I ever had Korean food. I took my mom here for her 50th birthday years ago and treated her to wagyu beef bbq. This is a place I've trusted enough to still try something new during a pandemic. I ordered yukhoe (beef tartare). The menu picture (predominately whited out with tape and with the Japanese portion completely removed) gave me an impression I would get exactly what was marketed regardless of portion size. I asked for the smaller portion because it was my first time trying something so adventurous. Raw beef. Prior to my visit, I browsed through some photos of how it's prepared and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the restaurant's match stick cuts of beef were still frozen. I had to let it sit for a while so that I could eat it at room temperature so it didn't feel like I was eating a beef popsicle. Yuck I know. Plus I was also waiting for an egg yolk which was told to me was extra (no cost disclosed) after I already ordered it. My recdeipt told me it was $1.50 for that egg yolk. I might as well ordered the full damn portion. Despite the frozen beef... it was still pretty flavorful but just not at the right temperature. The service was annoying and awkward. They kept sending this girl over to my table who barely spoke a drop of english. It was very frustrating because her managers would be a few steps by our table but would watch this girl struggle and then here I am telling them about how I'm missing an egg, clarifications for portions, refills and each time she had to get someone to come to our table to translate. It's not a big deal but when its multiple complaints and you have to express yourself twice...? I don't know. You start perseverating on the issues that piss you off from the whole experience. Plus they don't offer the potato salad as a banchan anymore. Are there new owners? Because I miss how this used to be. Maybe it's time to redo your menu so it looks less cheap. With your decor, it's not a place I would say would be a hole in the wall like your menu suggests.. shorten the menu and keep things fresh. If beef tartare isn't all that popular, stop serving it. And also update your google hours so that it reflects the time when your staff wants to leave. The bussing and the rushing was highly unnecessary when you didn't mention a thing until you starting collecting our dishes. (There were other patrons in the restaurant). RUDE. I will have to explore elsewhere for korean food. This one hurts to admit.

So so good. I came here for lunch with friends and family and had such a great experience. Staff was friendly and prompt and the pictures in the menu were very helpful. We had the shrimp dumplings to start which were so tasty! Then all of us got the beef bibimbap and it was amazing. The chopped mushrooms were my favorite along with the crunchy rice at the bottom of the hot bowl. I would go back here in an instant.

Some of the best KBBQ in this region, and quite honestly, better than many I have had in other states. I have been to a bunch of places in SoCal and this beats them all. One of the reasons that BI BIM Bab is so good, is the excellent service. Each visit is such a joy and much of it is the friendly, warm and welcoming service. My family and I have been going to Bi Bim Bab for 18 years and many of the staff has been there that long too. Kim, one of the nicest people, she remembers us from years ago and she is also so wonderful. The entire staff are all engaging and makes each experience special. The food is delicious. The array of banchan is such a treat! Housemade goodies with a variety of taste and crunch. The kimchee has just the right spice level and the salad is topped with the tastiest dressing. We typically order angus beef, kal bi and marinated chicken. All, so tender and flavorful. Little details, like the mushrooms, sweet potato and onions enhance flavors even further. You get what you pay for, quality, tender meats, veggies and sides. Well worth the pricing structure. I also love the ebi shumai and the veggie spring rolls. We come here often and will continue to do so. I am very thankful for such a great restaurant and it is also close to home.

Pretty typical Korean fare, no good or bad surprises I would say. This review is for their non-BBQ menu FYI. The BF and I shared the following: Hae mul pa jeon (seafood pancake) - 3/5 Solid pajeon served with a soy sauce. I think there could have been more seafood though. Banchan - 2/5 Some really sad looking ban chan (side dishes) unfortunately. We got bean sprouts, potato, kimchi, to name a few and nothing stood out. Jap chae - 4/5 I liked the freshness of the dish! It came out steaming hot. I wish it were a tad bit sweeter as I've had with jap chae from other places. Sun du bu chige (spicy tofu and seafood soup) - 4/5 Really good dish for a cold day. The seafood they included were about 3 small clams and several pieces of squid, so again I wished there were more seafood. But the tofu was tender and delicious and the flavor was nice. Bi bim bab with beef - 3/5 I'm not sure why, but the bi bim bab was a little disappointing. The flavor of everything was slightly muted even after dumping all the sauce in. Overall there was nothing wrong with the food, but I feel like I have cooked Korean dishes at home that I've liked better (as blasphemous as that sounds).

It was very quiet as I was the only diner for the beginning of my visit. When I walked in I was asked if I was dining in or carrying out and if it was my first time. I said dine in and yes, this is my first time then proceeded to scan the QR code at the hostess stand. She said yes scan that and when you're ready you can order up there and we will bring it to you. I went up to the counter and ordered the lb of brisket. I went to my table and waited. It wasn't very long that she brought over 4 sauces, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes and a cucumber and tomato salad. I asked her what the sauces were. I had hot sauce, barbecue sauce, a red salsa and a green salsa and the meat came soon after. She came and checked on me a few times. She was attentive. I went back to the menu on my phone to prepare for a carryout order. I noticed that the menu showed other sauces. I asked her for the chimichurri sauce. She brought it. A larger party ended up being seated close to me. I noticed that they had additional sides and sauces. When she came back I asked her about the sides because I wasn't interested in trying the other sauces that I saw on the menu. She stated that when a person is dining alone they only get all of the sides if they request them. So now I'm a bit annoyed. If I've already told you that this was my first time then why wouldn't you at least tell me what you have and let me decide? Don't just assume what sides I want. If these sides automatically come with my food why do I have to request them anyways? If Im a first time visitor how am I supposed to know what to ask for without you giving me any options? I don't believe in wasting food so I'm ok with not just giving a solo person everything but at least make sure that I know what is available to me. Give me the option to pass on it. It's not ok for you to choose for me, especially since it comes with my meal anyways. I initially thought that some items may be swapped out on certain days so I didn't question it. Never thought that it's just not being offered to me. I placed a carryout order for a friend. After it was packed up I asked questions this time. Sadly, it was the same thing. They left out what they felt like leaving out. I had to specifically ask for the missing items. After checking the bag I realized that he didn't get the same sauces that I had, he had no hot peppers and no mashed potatoes even though I advised them that this was for someone else and I wanted to make sure they had the food that they paid for. They had no issue giving it after I asked but I shouldn't have to do that if you're advertising these things that come with your meal. Who knows what else I missed trying because I didn't know to specifically ask. Overall the space is nice and the food was good. Just make sure you ask all the questions and don't assume that you're getting everything you paid for. Sadly you might have to specifically ask for it.

My brother (ribs lover), who celebrates his birthday every year at Famous Dave's, said this will be the new spot from now on! The star of the show was our server (didn't catch his name but he has 6 kids ranging from 24 - 2!!!) and the pork belly! Just those two alone will be the reason I go back, probably next weekend. However, everything we ate was seasoned well and really tasty. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the brisket was a little dry. I blamed it on the holiday but it seems to be something they may want to address since it wasn't just me. But other than that, the food was pretty durn good. My only other complaint was that there is no seating while you're waiting for your table. I'm sure there's a reason behind it..especially once I saw the carry out line down the seating area. So I would suggest putting you name on the wait list before arriving and making sure your entire party is there before getting out of the car.

I tried one of each flavor of chicken for the cupbap, and it was tasty and fresh. Though as a self proclaimed spice wimp, the sweet and spicy was just a bit beyond my tolerance. Still, I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it by picking what flavors I wanted. The beef bulgogi kimbap was another winner that tasted fresh and delightful, and while the rice cake kkochi had a very lovely chewy texture, the spice level was just a bit much for me. Oddly enough, the first time I ordered, they messed up my cupbap. Extra annoying considering I had ordered take out and only noticed something was wrong once I was safetly settled back at my desk (I 100% could have checked before I left the restaurant so that bit's on me). I immediately called the restaurant to explain what had gone wrong, and they were incredibly apologetic and wanted to make it right for me immediately. They offered to refund me or make me something fresh. I opted for the latter. Honestly, they went above and beyond to make things right for me, and mistakes happen, so to see a business so plainly own their mistake and make up for it is always a plus in my book. I'll be back. That cupbap made my stomach happy.

Aside from the food I had their Old School Margarita and their Deadwood Old Fashioned. The Margarita was just OK in my opinion. Basis of the drink was 1800 tequila which I am not a fan of and Cointreau. Seemed to lack the Agave Forward notes I look for and lime component was not as bright as I like it either. However, the Deadwood Old Fashioned with the Woodford Reserve Bourbon was outstanding and definately one of the better made ones in the area. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance about it with rustic western vibe which I really like. There is also a large outdoor dining area to take advantage of the nicer days which is something to consider if that is what you are looking for. Relative to staff, they are so friendly and outgoing with excellent follow up throughout the meal and clearly a strength of this business.
