There aren't many choices for vegetarians but my wife found the Huevos Rancheros. Fried eggs served on a crispy tortilla with refried beans, topped with warm salsa Red or Green. Chopped fresh cilantro, queso fresco, drizzled with sour cream and avocado slices... Her first experience eating the Huevos Rancheros was a good one. Very tasty . Just a little too much salsa. The dish was swimming in it. I had the Carnitas de Puerco. Slow simmered pork, quickly fried at the end. Served with arroz mexicano, refried beans, queso fresco, fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, tortillas a mano. True Mexican Cuisine. This Chef's mother's recipe is a must have... I like the little tortillas where you can put nice bites of carnitas, rice and beans, and guacamole all in one . Very flavorful. The carnitas is moist and extremely tender. Our waitris was informative, friendly, and gave us great service. Glad to have another great Mexican restaurant in the area.

There was only one server who also doubled as the bartender. She was pretty amazing in that she was handling everything and took our orders (there were four of us) without writing anything down. I figured "no way" our orders would come out correct. She proved me wrong, that's for sure. Everything was perfect and exactly as ordered. I had a burrito/enchilada plate and it was fine but not outstanding. I've had better similar orders at other places in the Central Oregon area. Others at my table loved their orders which consisted of pork chops and tacos. I will say the jalapeño margarita was the best I have ever had. Comfortable place but it is pretty small.

I had the chili verde lunch special and it came with the fluffiest freshest Spanish rice I have ever had outside my mother's kitchen my entire life. Their salsa is amazing. The chips are fresh! What I got instead were 4" tortillas that were two bites each for $5.00 each. In the photo you can see the hot sauce container takes up half a taco and I can hold the taco with three fingers lol. Now, I will say, these tasted amazing! They were fresh, perfectly seasoned, had a nice char, and the hot sauce was incredible! With the squeeze of lime, delicious. Unfortunately, these werent filling and I had to go somewhere else to grab more food before my flight.

I am a Dessert lady for sure! I ordered the flan and churro with ice cream for delivery. I really appreciate the ice cream packaged separate from the warm churros. The churros were pretty good- I little on the hard side, ice cream was yummy! The flan came with two in one order- I am not sure if they were two different versions but they tasted different for sure. One was gritty but good and the other was smooth and sticky but good. One thing I didn't like was the packaging for the flan- there was not the traditional sauce and what there was - was absorbed into the cardboard package.
