I brought my family of five here today and was so excited to try Peruvian food, but wasn't delighted. I'm not a stranger to spicy food, but this restaurant felt more like a chain restaurant than an actual authentic cuisine, and it left much for my heart to desire. Almost every meal and cocktail was 20+ dollars each, the meat wasn't flavorful and needed salsa to compensate for lack of flavor, the margaritas had no liquor in them, the rice tasted like it had vegetable oil on white rice and pieces of corn in it and had absolutely no taste, the portions were very small and my entire group left still hungry, and the only thing that I honestly enjoyed was the chips and salsas... We won't be returning, after this experience. We ordered: (2) orders of the chilies rellenos (which consisted of only one small Anaheim pepper), (1) order of the ceviche (it was extremely small and lackluster in terms of flavor... just ahi tuna, lemon juice, and some onion.... Honestly, it tasted the way that being sad feels. We had the taco salad, which was only had a few strip a of tostadas and was more lettuce than anything that resembled a taco, and the chicken tacos came cold with a giant clump of uncooked cheese in the middle. Most of it was left uneaten, because it was barely palatable. And lastly, we had (3) different margaritas, Berry, Passion Fruit, and red cactus or something to that effect and it was glorified juice with next to no tequila. I hope someone sees this and my review helps to save them a trip because it was overall high prices with extremely low quality cuisine. This food literally makes me never want to visit Peru and that is a very sad thing, because I live to travel. (total: $215.00 wasted). read more
