Mediocre food had them at a work event. Baked beans were quite good but rest of the food was just ok. Ladies on the truck were quite nice.

Four stars because Zukin's is better than Okay ... and it is reasonably convenient…read more We three shared a pulled brisket sandwich, three bones and the garlic ribeye flat bread pizza. All are worthy of re-ordering on a future visit. The brisket sandwich was large and the portion ... generous. My two dining companions thought it was great ... I expect a bit more Smokey goodness. The bun is fine and stands up to a serious saucing. The ribs are meaty, a teenie bit fatty and arrived with more sauce than I like; but I am a dry rub BBQ guy. The garlic ribeye flatbread pizza, is obviously not a classic pizza ... and it is wonderful. I wish I had known about it years ago. Will I return? Yes.

Guests could place a to-go order or take advantage of the bar or dining area. The restaurant accommodated both small and larger gatherings. I only had breakfast, so I was hungry despite the early hour. The menu is divided into five broad categories: chicken, ribs, seafood, pizza, and sandwiches. I went with a chicken and ribs combo, the Oak Parker, which includes four ribs and three pieces of chicken, fries, creamy coleslaw, and a roll. The ribs were covered in a spicy tomato barbecue sauce; I prefer a sweeter sauce. The fried chicken had a crispy and delicious coating. The meal reminds me of the typical evening-out meal I would get in my hometown. Service was quick and friendly. The meal was fairly priced.

It's a carryout service place, no indoor seating and a large picnic table outside and that's fine. Buck took our orders (brisket dinner with potato salad and coleslaw for me, pulled pork dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans for her: both came with cornbread and were served up within minutes of ordering. The chopped brisket is hot and savory with a healthy dollop of sweet sauce: the pulled pork is given the same treatment, although it could have had a bit more BBQ sauce, but the pork is tender and juicy. Portions are generous and we each have enough for lunch tomorrow! If you want good good BBQ and you don't need a sit-down indoor atmosphere, get you some of Buck N Dink's!

A great BBQ option in Michigan…read more We ordered takeout with pulled pork fries and the pork belly meal. I got the collard greens and corn nuggets as sides. The cornbread wasn't my favorite, and everything was too saucy for me. But the sauce was good. Next time, I'm going to ask for sauce on the side. The pork belly was juicy and falling apart, but the collard greens were very vinegary. If the sauce hasn't been so sweet, the collard greens would way too sour. Although I had my nitpicky comments, I can see myself coming back every month. The pork belly was really wonderful, and I suspect next time will be even better with sauce on the side. I need to try their Mac and cheese next.

I don't know what bam bam sauce is, but it's tasty when mixed with BBQ sauce. There are eight ounces of mostly lean brisket topped with coleslaw, loads of sauce, all on a yummy brioche bun. It's pricey, but is as filling as an entree elsewhere. You'd think I'd have a photo of the sandwich by now since I've ordered it multiple times, but each time I've devoured it before remembering I didn't take a picture. I had a very short wait and was on my way home to enjoy it, but if you want to dine in, there's a mix of high and low top tables. The restaurant is very clean, and service is always super friendly. Enjoy!

The ordering…read moreprocess is straightforward: customers place and pay for their order at the counter, and the staff brings the food to the table when it is ready. I ordered one of their signature items, the Barbecue Chicken Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were prepared as described, and the chicken filling was flavorful and well-cooked. While the quality was good, I was personally undecided about the combination of barbecue flavor on top of an egg roll. I also ordered a fountain soda, which unfortunately had an off taste. It seemed as though the fountain machine may have needed cleaning, as the flavor appeared mixed with other beverages. The restaurant was very quiet during my visit, with only one other customer dining while I was there. Seating consisted of standard flat-top and high top tables, and the service was professional and courteous. The dining area and restrooms were both clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience was positive. Although I was not completely sold on the egg rolls, I would consider returning in the future when I am back in the area to try one of their sandwiches or bowls.
