As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. Definately not a professional service! I called them by mistake and they said "Yeah, We remember…read moreyou." I told them about the narrow back gate "They" used before and that I needed the dumpster inside my back gate. The guy said "no problem, we got it in there before we can do it again." When he showed up I didn't recognize the guy and he said he could not get in with the dumpster. I told him the company got it in there the last time. He said we were never here before. I said that he had confirmed me as a previous customer on the phone. He told me that he would not argue with a customer. I told him I did not want the bin because it wouldnt fit in my back yard. He wanted me to pay a $100.00 cancellation fee, which I managed to get reduced to $50 eventhough I was not informed of a cancellation fee to begin with. He then tried to make other deals with me in order to gain the service but I called another company instead. Will not be calling this company again.

The guy showed up in a beat up old truck that hardly looked road worthy with a beat up bin that didn't look like it would hold anything. We booked the bin for the long weekend and texted Denver with my address to tell him it was ready for pick up first thing Tuesday morning (as he requested). After seeing no one we texted him again on Thursday and he had to ask our address again. After providing our address he then put us on IGNORE again and didn't not respond to two more texts requesting an eta on the bin pick up. My hubby and I both tried to call from our cell phones but couldn't get ANYONE to answer. Finally Friday after blocking my phone number from displaying, Denver finally answered the phone. When I ask him why he's not responding to my requests and when exactly he's going to pick up his bin I get a long winded story about the rain and now he's off work for two days and now the bin cannot be picked up until Sunday. (Almost a week late to be picked up. Great lawn killer too.) I admit I gave him a hard time for not answering our texts or phone calls and not providing the service he said he was going to but to hang up on a customer is just not acceptable. He got my money and doesn't care about anything after that. DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY ALL YOUR CASH OR YOU WILL NOT GET THE SERVICE YOU NEED.
