As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. The driver of a white truck O/O "Fast Ranger" cut off vehicles at least 5 times in the 30 km…read morestretch between Red Deer and Lacombe on the QEII this afternoon. Myself twice, almost running me into the ditch @115 km/hr once (when I had to swerve to avoid being hit), and causing myelf, a semi and 2 other vehicles to slam on our brakes hard, also endangering the vehicles behind us by driving 130+ km/hr in the slow lane, then quickly, with very little space, swerving into the fast lane, nearly swiping other drivers along the way. He put at least a dozen vehicle's passengers lives at risk. The highway had only light traffic, and it was absolutely unnecessary to drive like this. He had a load of drywall, so is this how he will treat YOUR precious cargo? Was he inebriated, unaware of his trailer length, or just a jerk?? Once may have been an accident, but to witness it multiple times (unnecessarily) in such a short distance was concerning- like he was trying to see how close he could get to other vehicles. This driver is clearly unprofessional, and even worse: does not care about the safety of his load or the other drivers on the road.
