I have been using WestMaids services since February. We had a few glitches in the beginning, for example, when one maid's vacuum broke down, but now we have a consistent tem of two ladies who are doing a good job. I would recommend WestMaids to others and I think their pricing is quite competitive. read more

Great communication with this company as I had a couple of specific requests. I just needed a one time clean for a party and was very happy with the service provided. Three people arrived and did our main floor in an hour. I would recommend this company. read more

They were prompt to respond but the charges for what I got was subpar. Two people $292 and that was to clean dust everything, move items out of the way and dust and vacuum every which corner baseboards, polish railing wipe all surfaces off with a clean disinfected cloth mop all hard surfaces. Leave no streaks on taps have extenders to wipe hard to reach places due to their small stature. I could go around afterwards take my fingers collect dirt on my fingers and wipe them on my pants. That is just not OK. read more

I've used Westmaids a couple of times now including for my real estate clients and have always had a great experience. Their online booking system is easy to use to find a time that works. Every property they have cleaned has been very thorough and I've always received exactly what was requested and expected. read more

I booked a thorough house cleaning 3 weeks in advance. They give themselves a 1 hour window to arrive. 40 min into that hour I got a message from the cleaner saying they'd be late by another full hour because they were too busy. I texted back saying that as long as they completed their work before I had to leave they could come. That additional hour came and went; 45 min later I had to text them to find out how soon they'd arrive. They told me it would only be another 10 minutes. That was another lie: 20 min later without any contact from them, and a full 3 hours after they were supposed to arrive, I had to call their main office and cancel the appointment altogether. This is entirely inexcusable, and certainly not worth the time investment I put into them; I'll definitely go somewhere else. read more

I contacted Westmaids to clean my condo for me after I moved. A neighbour let them in. In the process they destroyed my kitchen sink. The cleaner they poured down the sink ate right through the metal and as a result, my realtor had to arrange to have the sink replaced. Please see the photo the plumber sent...this is the shape my place was left in after they left. Completed rusted and destroyed. I was mortified. How many people saw this and how many offers I lost as a result? I contacted Westview as soon as I was made aware, and they have done nothing. I have been waiting about 2 weeks to hear from the owners, but they have yet to contact me. Using Westmaid cost me 3 times what I paid them given the damages that were done. read more

Thanks very much. First time booking today. A lot of nice touches and exactly what my apartment needed. Thanks for doing the handful of dishes I left in the sink, I honestly wasn't expecting that. The whole booking process was very easy. Looking forward to future business. Thanks again! read more

Did a move out clean and was super impressed. Cleaners did an excellent job and were very polite. Two cleaners tackled the job together and when done the place looked brand new. Would recommend to people in Calgary for sure. read more

Its been challenging finding one-off cleaning companies available to do intermittent cleaning. We decided to try WestMaids. The booking process was excellent, including appointment reminders. They were available at our preferred time and the cleaner was at our home promptly at the scheduled time. She did a great job. We are entirely pleased and will call upon WestMaids again when required. read more

Spent awhile looking for new house cleaners for the occasional booking and heard about these guys through word of mouth. Really glad I did. First, a great website. Booking was easy, and I was able to just add an oven cleaning with a button. Cut out the awkward conversations about extra duties beyond tidying right there on the site. It's a small feature but really makes a difference. Their booking schedule was intuitive and they were able to book me right away. They seems to have a lot of capacity and flexibility. I gave them very little notice and they were able accommodate. So great! The cleaning staff was prompt and polite and they did a fantastic job. Lots of little details and extra efforts that were glazed over by other companies. I'm very satisfied and will be booking again. read more

Be careful of the non-human touch of the back office with WestMaids. The single cleaner was 3 hours late for the appointment and when she finally showed up, she actually asked me what I wanted done. One of the reasons I was trying them out was they seem to have a solid program with a defined cleaning task list. Ultimately, the cleaner did an okay job of the cleaning. After responding to the email on how things went I spoke my mind about the time delay and highlighted the cleaner didn't seem to have a standard set of tasks. No one from the company has reached out to respond to me nor to the cancelation of all future services. If you are looking for more of a personal touch and on-time appointments I would not recommend WestMaids. read more

Terrible cleaning services, although the office staff was very professional and courteous, i honestly feel bad they have to be front facing while the cleaners get away with a poor job. Would not recommend these guys to anyone who wants a clean home. read more

Unimpressed. Our appointment was set for 2-3pm Saturday. Cleaner showed up at 2:58. I understand that you have a one hour window but myself and my partner waited in an empty condo for the cleaner to show up. I certainly anticipated that they would come somewhere in between 2 and 3 and not right at the end of the window. The cleaner asked if they could call or text when they were done with the move out clean. I never received a text. When we went back to check, the apartment looked relatively clean at first glance. But upon further inspection, we found that the cupboards had not been cleaned, in addition to the microwave and dishwasher. This came as a surprise as I paid for a move out clean. This meant that we spent time cleaning things that I paid for you to clean. This was disappointing to say the least. read more

I arranged cleaning service for my elderly sister and things have been going reasonably well with the house looking cleaner than it had looked. Her regular cleaning person does not like to use the vacuum in the house so my sister has bought a new one for her! This week a different cleaning person arrived - she used the vacuum (not the new one) and all the cleaned areas in the house looked visibly much, much better so I'm hoping that this individual could become a regular. She arrived on time and did all that was expected of her in a cheerful and efficient manner in the allotted time. WestMaids has proved a great help to us. read more

After the problems I had I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I heard back from the owner. He came to my house, went over everything and put a plan together so the issues don't occur again. Mistakes are going to happen, its how they are responded to that is important. read more

Starting with the fantastic website where it is super easy to get an estimate and do a booking, Westmaids demonstrates exceptional customer service. Every special request we made (and we made a few) was handled with care and professionalism. The cleaning was excellent. Westmaids is a small Calgary business that will surely thrive because of the personal involvement and attention of the owners. Thank you so much Cristina, Vicki, Nathan and Boris for all your help in giving us exactly what we wanted! We will be working with you again, and also recommending you to friends. read more

So happy with WestMaids! We booked the move out service and they were able to accommodate a tight schedule and do an amazing job. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend! read more

Our family often works incredibly long tiring days, lots of overtime and have been trying different cleaning services to help us manage our home. The companies before often didn't finish or neglected key items like the rug and I have made critical feedback to those groups with little to no follow up and thus they lost our business. This time we tried WestMaids. When we came home yesterday, our home was spotless and smelled fantastic. I have never had a service pay such attention to detail (the microwave, the towel arrangements, the bath products oriented to face out, the baseboards wiped so well) yet respectful to our personal items with care (and I'm sure it's not easy given the crowdedness of our tiny home). I found out the service was completed by ShayLynn and had to let WestMaids know how much we appreciated her service. It really made us feel she cared for our home. We are moving to a monthly service now with WestMaids and I sure look forward to that quality again. Highly recommend this service over others in Calgary. You will not be disappointed! read more
