My electrical problems consisted of gradual battery discharge, and not enough voltage going to the the car, causing startup to fail. I thought it was a bad alternator since I'd just installed a new battery. After dropping my truck off, they took a look at it, and called me back promptly to inform me the problem was due to a bad battery, and told me my idler arm hadn't been tightened properly resulting in loose steering. Jim told me what was wrong, explained the other issues I'd had, tightened the idler arm, and gave me advice regarding my battery, allowing me to save far more money than I'd expected. Fox Automotive is an excellent auto shop. They provide excellent customer service, inform their customers as to what is wrong with a vehicle and why, don't price gouge their clients, and are reliable. I'm definitely going to them for inspections and repairs I can't do myself.

Now, I will tell you, we have patronized their establishment since we purchased the vehicle for regular maintenance, and they have always been wonderful. However, it was not until we were in real distress that the true value of this establishment shone through! Ben Shabib has been working with us from the beginning, and he is truly a Godsend. In addition to knowing my wife and I BY NAME and greeting us with professionalism and respect EVERY TIME, he PERSONALLY took an interest in the status of our repair job. Regardless of what vehicle you drive, A1 is truly one of the best service centers I have ever known. If you have car troubles, and are within three states of these guys, it is WORTH THE TOW to get your vehicle to them. I could go on, but I am worried about running out of space in this review. Thank you, A1 Auto Service Center, and WELL DONE!

I recommended him to anyone I knew who talked about car repairs. however the 2nd time,he misquoted me price &I assumed he did but he said he would be out the next week. I got the parts needed, texted him about 3xs asking when he could come.no reply.bad communication and customer service.if he misquoted me(and I figured he did) i am very easy to get along with alls he had to do was tell me so.knowing I would have to go somewhere else & pay the higher prices. it's breaks & rotors& i have a kid..it's a safety issue & I would of paid whatever he asked... after the 3rd text I sent & no reply.. I had to go somewhere else 40 mins away to get them done asap..and even more than the price he should have quoted me at. This was disappointing as I am a woman who knows nothing about cars & was looking for a long term mechanic.I would of gotten him a lot of business too working at P&G and my coworkers in the same situation as me.. where this would of been very convenient for a lot of ppl: so I went back & told the people I suggested him to.. how bad his communication was nothing like my 1st experience so up to them to use. but I no longer suggest. still never heard back. no "I'm sorry I misquoted" or a reliable company could of matched the price as his fault he misquoted. but regardless I would of paid him what he asked for good communication and convenience.. so sad ! could of had a long time customer here as my car is getting close to 100,000 miles and it's going to my son in a couple months & I definitely want to keep up with services for my kid to be driving. :(

Second, please believe me when I say that these guys are SUPERSTARS! Not only did Jack find me a great deal on tires (one with a rebate!), but he and his sons addressed several issues (ones that I already knew existed) that needed serious attention. To say that they went above and WAAAAAY beyond to make sure my car was fixed that day is so far understated...they even stayed late to fix these issues! There were parts they did not have in stock and Jack sent one of his sons out several times to different locations to pick up parts needed. I mean, the time, effort, and care they gave my car was amazing! Jack apologized a couple of times that it was taking longer than expected, but they were short-staffed - basically, it was just him and one son doing the mechanics, while the other son was running around town to get parts, but what a team. And, the best part, my car...my 15 year old Corolla, ran like new! She had so much pep and ran smoother than she has in years! Thank you Jack and sons!
