Amazing and yummy food as always. I have been going to Hoda's over 15+ years, there's a nice big menu for everyone (vegetarian and non vegetarian), there is a good variety for everyone to find something. The place looks nice, well lit, good ambiance, good location and awesome service.

Amazing restaurant! Make a reservation because this place does get super packed! First time trying middle eastern food and it was amazing! Everything was packed with the right amount of spice and flavor. I had the chicken kabob plate and it came with rice and hummus! The chicken was dry, but flavors were there. You guys better get the spinach pies and baklava or else. So delicious! The service was great - definitely coming back (*´`*)

You really can't go wrong with the mini dips. They were all delicious and $15 is a very reasonable price. We also got a lamb stew and some cocktails and all were delicious. Staff were also very friendly. I love this place!

Are you freaking kidding me? This is what I've been looking for the entire time. So so so good! Family owned so polite and courteous and attentive. The food was phenomenal. You can tell it is made from scratch. Super cute. I definitely will be going here again. As an Armenian the food is very close to home. I've been looking everywhere for a place where they have baked bread and pies and I found it here. 10 out of 10

Complimentary pita & olive oil

Pretty standard middle eastern menu, & they use good quality beef & lamb. They have lots of large feasts/sampler platters that are great for large groups. Great gyros and amazing lamb shank. The taters served w/ the gyros are like cubed breakfast style potatoes w/ some feta & cilantro. Their on the house pita is light and airy served w/ a bit of olive oil dip. Clean & bright interior, Friendly service.

Goodness!!!

Well, as someone from Dearborn, Michigan, where there is plentiful Lebanese food because there's many Lebanese immigrants there, I will say this, this food is absolute fire!! Well done! Best Kafka I have ever had. Perfect Humus, perfect food loved it. If you don't love this food you do not know Lebanese food!!!

I love this restaurant with all my heart and my family and i have been going to Hoda's every time we are in town for nearly a decade now. and have never had a problem. Our experience there last night was an odd one, and unfortunately has put us off of making it a destination on our trips again. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and nothing was her fault and she was slowed down by the kitchen. Menu has changed, and service was slow were the first things we noted right away. Bread came cold and when asked for hot bread it was clearly older bread that had been warmed up. They used to make the bread fresh all the time. ALWAYS HOT. We ordered labneh as an appetizer and it came over half an hour later. Mind you it is just a cold yogurt dish. Thin layer of it on the plate when it arrived. The tabbouleh was also fluffed in the bowl with unnecessary lettuce leaves to make it look fuller. One of the owners son's I have known to be in the restaurant was eating in the open kitchen space while also moving food for customers around. Again another thing I would have NEVER seen before at this establishment. Food arrived not all at one time. Food was interesting. My food came out first and then every 10-15 minutes another dish would come out. We stopped waiting to eat together and had to eat separately as our food would get cold otherwise. My mother got falafel and it was clearly not homemade like all the times before, tasted good though. My brother and Father got kebobs, a lot of oil on the plate. Tasted fine otherwise but not the flavor we loved and remember being. The rice I don't think was saffron or even basmanti rice as far as I can tell. I am aware restaurants go under change! This is just my opinion! We also haven't been to Hoda's in almost a year since last time so maybe we caught them on an off day. And service was very nice but not enough service people for the amount of tables, a little slow. I am saying all this because I have loved this place for a while and I know what it can be. Just minor fixes thats all.

Batata

The flavors of the meat were very tasty. We ordered the kibbeh for an appetizer, not much flavor, would skip that. The pita bread and dip they bring out was great. It seemed undercooked, but it was so soft and chewy. Loved it. I had a meat platter. I usually don't like lamb, but this was great. It was busy so service was a bit slow. It is noisy, and cramped.

Kafta Kabob Plate

food was incredible and the staff was incredibly sweet, came here on vacation and there was many options but this is an amazing choice i'm glad i chose hoda's. absolutely recommend! the cocktails were spectacular.

My bf and I live down the street from Hoda's and have always wanted to try this place! Every time we walk by we creepily look at what people are eating and it always looks SO good. Well tonight was FINALLY THE NIGHT! It looked really quiet, which is unusual, so we were seated instantly at the table of our choice. There was middle eastern music playing, beautiful decor and murals and the whole restaurant was warm and had a cozy feel. We were instantly greeted with the puffiest looking pita I have ever seen in my life and some olive oil. The pita was easily the best I've ever had! Unbelievably fluffy, tender, warm and absorbed the olive oil perfectly. Everything on the menu looked great (lots of vegan/vegetarian options!), and I decided on vegetarian eggplant dish with rice. The eggplant was stuffed with other veggies and a tomato sauce and it was all so delicious and tender. The rice was HEAVENLY!!!! Oh my gosh and together with the eggplant it was the perfect medley of flavors and fireworks in my mouth. I was so full, but couldn't stop myself from clearing my plate and even continuing onto a second pita. I wish that I had room for desert but I will be back asap!!!

I think sometimes restaurants have a different level of quality or care for to go orders and I want to call that out. However, the food is quite expensive, and VERY disappointing. Things I ordered Pita bread - was extremely dry, leathery, un-chewable. Must have been stale. Dip mezza - hummus not smooth, no flavor, Lebneh was ok, baba ghanoush almost tasted of artificial smoke flavoring. Shatta - absolutely not shatta. It was oil with chopped herbs that has definitely gone bad. Again absolutely no flavor. Paid $5 for a tiny to go condiment cup of it! What a rip off. Falafel - meh. Lamp gyro - fiance thought it was ok, but also, very bland. There are so many good middle Eastern restaurants I will definitely never order from this restaurant again. It's really sad when you can tell that an establishment simply does not care about the quality or the culinary technique that goes into their food. Especially when they charge so much!

This kind of consideration is something I've noticed across Portland, and it's a big part of why I love visiting. Food-wise, we had some real standouts. The roasted carrots were deeply flavorful, the curried black lentil salad had that perfect balance of hearty and bright, and the tahini ice cream was one of those desserts you keep thinking about after the trip ends. Also, do not skip the beer with a slushy float. It sounds chaotic, but somehow it works. Fun, refreshing, a little unexpected. Come hungry, especially if you're dining with mixed dietary needs. For sure the best Lebanese food in Hillsboro, maybe the best in all of Oregon!…read more I've had Falafel in many restaurants surrounding Portland and this is the best by far. Very moist, tender and loads of flavor, unlike most places that serve it drier than a week old biscuit. Their Hummus is creamy and delicious. The best I've had anywhere and it comes with a huge piece of flatbread. The rice was light and fluffy, steamed to perfection. Atmosphere is warm, cozy Mediteranian; service was fast and attentive; food was abundant and delicious; prices are fair and very reasonable. Seriously nothing not to love about this amazing restaurant! My only complaint is their takeout boxes are made of single-use plastic.

It's rare to find a place that nails the "hidden gem" feel while providing such a polished, upscale atmosphere. Here is why Oasis is my absolute favorite: The Ambiance: The interior is beautiful and incredibly unique. They have these cozy, fabric-tented booths that make your meal feel private and intimate--perfect for a date night or a long catch-up with friends. It truly feels like an "oasis" once you step inside. The Mezza Plate Sampler: If it's your first time, you must order this. It's the best way to try a bit of everything--the hummus is velvety, the baba ghanouj has that perfect smoky char, and the falafel is served hot and crispy. The Lamb Shank: This is the ultimate comfort food. The meat literally falls off the bone and is seasoned with a blend of Middle Eastern spices that are aromatic but not overwhelming. Pair it with their basmati rice, and you're in heaven. Specialty Drinks: Their Rose Water Lemonade is life-changing--so refreshing and not too sweet. If you're a coffee lover, the Turkish Coffee is the perfect way to end the meal. The Experience: On Friday and Saturday nights, they often have belly dancing performances, which adds such a vibrant, cultural energy to the room. It makes the whole night feel like an event rather than just a dinner. Exceptional Service: The staff here is so welcoming and fast. Even when the restaurant is full, they are incredibly attentive and happy to explain the menu or accommodate dietary needs (lots of great gluten-free and vegan options!). Pro Tip: If you like a little heat, ask for their spicy garlic sauce. It's addictive and goes well with just about everything on the menu. Whether you're a local or just passing through Beaverton, Oasis is a must-visit. You'll come for the food, but you'll stay for the incredible vibes!

Instead of traveling to Vancouver or SW PDX, for two of our favorite restaurants, that have also lamb, I DECIDED to have to-go from Ya Hala, another of our favorite restaurant, because they're only 7 mins. from home. After searching for their menu, I ordered: Spring Lamb Pomegranate-glazed leg of lamb served with spinach-pomegranate sauce, basmati rice, and fresh peas -- $28.
