What a find!!! We're just passing through town and were drawn in by the yummy smells. I got the chicken arabi and my friend got the beef plate and both were amazing! And don't skimp on the hot sauce or garlic sauce, they make the already great dishes even better!!

Taziki and samosa
Bobbie J.

Never again. The Tzatziki cost $4 for the side. No flavor didn't notice cucumber, dill, lemon. Just like plain greek yogurt. The vegetable samosas was full of potato. I did find 1 pea and 2 carrots, but still no flavor like most Samosas. The beef was okay, and the mayo sauce tasted more like tarter sauce. No comment on red sauce. The size is very small for the price. Never again, I paid for a lesson. Trashed

What a sweet quaint little restaurant. My daughter and I went there yesterday for Mother's Day. It…read morewas a beautiful day and while they have outdoor seating we elected to eat inside. Reviewing the menu, there were lots of yummy things to choose from but ultimately we both could not resist the Lamb shank. I'm sad I didn't take a picture of it. It was so tender and delicious. It came with perfect Basmati rice and a side of eggplant stew that was exquisite! I've never had eggplant stew and it was luscious. I dream to about it all night long. It was quiet, comfortable, music was great; songs we all know but with native instruments and flare. We had house red wine - not a big selection of alcohol, which is fine the food is and should be the star. Our sever (Sorry my old lady brain forgot his name) but the good looking bald guy(LOL) was nice and personable. It was such a great low key dining experience that just made the day even better. I highly recommend this cute place and we will be back- there are a lot more wonderful food to try!

My first impression as we entered here was: the AC was on, and I'm not ready for AC (yet), and the inside was too elegant, and empty. We waited awhile, when a staff appeared. We picked a seat outside, where the weather was pleasant and shady. I needed badly, to use the restroom, so I went back inside, only to be told it's outside. The mural on the walls, obscured the door to the restroom. But, there was no TP, no paper towel, and the trash was full. I had to use a toilet seat cover paper, for my TP, and went back to my seat, not happy with what I just did! I told my husband, who then told the staff, because HE need to use the restroom, too. (We've been gone all morning, this is now lunch hour). The staff gave water, menu and we ordered: The Lamb Shank. I love the eggplant stew! There's also a small salad with the Basmati rice. Also Chicken Kabob Mezza Platter with Pita bread. It was not until we're done eating, and ready to get up, did I notice there was cubed cucumber in the thaziki. But, it's got a very strong vinegar flavor, but I did like the hummus and the ghanoush. (When we eat at these places, we always pick the lamb shanks, btw). I had the other half, for my dinner tonight. The server was friendly, helpful and responsive. The atmosphere, was pleasant, and the photo taken of me, hubby thought I could pass as an Iraqi woman! LOL Thanks for the bag. We picked some crabapples, from down the street, there were 4-5 large trees ready for the pickin' from the sidewalk.

Visited the one off Broadway and was able to find a table quickly for an early dinner. Service was kind and the food was good overall. Not quite the same experience and food that I remember from before but still good. The lamb schwarma was delicious like usual, but the chicken schwarma was unfortunately pretty dry. Loved the rice, garlic dip, gluten free and regular bread with dipping sauce though as well as the pistachio dessert. Happy I was able to visit again!

I think sometimes restaurants have a different level of quality or care for to go orders and I want to call that out. However, the food is quite expensive, and VERY disappointing. Things I ordered Pita bread - was extremely dry, leathery, un-chewable. Must have been stale. Dip mezza - hummus not smooth, no flavor, Lebneh was ok, baba ghanoush almost tasted of artificial smoke flavoring. Shatta - absolutely not shatta. It was oil with chopped herbs that has definitely gone bad. Again absolutely no flavor. Paid $5 for a tiny to go condiment cup of it! What a rip off. Falafel - meh. Lamp gyro - fiance thought it was ok, but also, very bland. There are so many good middle Eastern restaurants I will definitely never order from this restaurant again. It's really sad when you can tell that an establishment simply does not care about the quality or the culinary technique that goes into their food. Especially when they charge so much!

Sometimes this could be a good thing, but in this case they have significantly reduced their offerings, and the items available are not as flavorful or served correctly either. We went as a group of six adults and 1 toddler, and were not offered or suggested on comfortable seating options given that the food is all served family style and in one single platter. We ended up having to move tables and chairs around on our own to ensure each member of our party had access to the dish. Now coming to the food itself, we ordered the enjoni special but were only given 5 of the eight veggies as per the menu listing, and when we asked our waiter, he brought out three more items but not the ones we were missing but rather repeats of the same. Perhaps this wouldn't be as big of a complaint if all the items were actually flavorful as they used to be previously, but instead most of the veggies were exceptionally bland. I really would love for these things to be improved and fixed as I would hate to have to avoid a place that we had such fond memories of! The reason for 2 stars instead of just one is that they do have halal meat, and atleast those were properly flavorful!
