My child is 10 so this isn't easy Also I had cut the back of my daughters hair and had asked for a shaved under cut for that section. What she did is not the same as the picture I showed and what they said they could do. My daughter is devastated and now walking around like this for holidays and I'm pretty disturbed we were charged $150 for a few highlights, this disaster in the back, and a trim that took 10 minutes of actual hair cutting. I had originally scheduled with Hannah but unfortunately, she got sick and they had to cancel my appointment. They were super kind and apologetic about it and offered me another appointment the next day with another available hairstylist. They also honored the original quoted price. For example, Hannah charges $40 for a haircut, while the other stylist charges $50, they kept the price as $40. My new hairstylist was Dennise. I was attended to quickly and she sat down and had a conversation with me about what exactly I wanted and my past experiences. Honestly every time I have gone to a salon in the past few years, I leave disappointed. Last haircut I got was about 2 months before this one and they didn't cut it short enough or add any layers like I asked. It cost $150 and I was very unhappy with it. I showed Dennise some reference photos and she gave me suggestions and a walk through on what we could do to achieve what I wanted so that I wouldn't be surprised by anything. Unfortunately the picture I took with my new haircut doesn't really get the back of it so it doesn't do it justice. She did cut my hair slightly different because my natural hair is more to the curly side so she took shrinkage into consideration (and I wanted bangs). But my hair looked amazing! We are in town for a wedding and I forgot my hair tools so I needed a blow out and straighten of my curls on this hot day. Even though most stylists were on vacation, and she had at least 4 clients in and out in the time I was there, Serenity balanced all of us with ease and professionalism. And my hair was done great and within an hour! The space is designed well, clean, and comfortable. If I lived in the area, based on this experience, I'd probably wind up making this my home salon.
