The cost for a dip is $50.00, which is the standard costs of other nail salons. The man who was doing my nail said I needed 2 fake tips. I said I only wanted just one and he said that the other nail wouldn't be the same length as the other nails. I said it didn't matter. I then asked how much for 1 tip and he said $2.00. I was ok with that. He then proceeded to tell me that the total cost would be $50.00 for the dip, $10.00 for the removal of the polish and $2.00 for the tip. I said the salons I've gone to in the past, the removal of the polish was included in the cost of the dip. He then got angry and said "I won't charge you and that I can go back to the salon I usually go to any got up and said I had to wait because he was having someone else do my nails and literally stormed out the door and left. read more

I spent 2 hours here for a regular pedi--- no added services and a regular mani with clear polish(no color)we never got to because I could not take them anymore. My pedi was sloppy with cuticles that were left and painted over. YES they painted my skin! They spent time redoing my big toes and then when I sat for my mani they couldn't even master a basic filing job on super short nails. It got to the point where I said i can finish myself at home and left. Despite the horrible service and less than acceptable nail job I did leave her a full tip and voiced that I still do the right thing even though they DID NOT earn it. HORRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE. They do a great job every time I've had a manicure or pedicure there. The nail technicians are so nice, she even took my shoes off for me because my nails were soaking in polish remover. I went somewhere else and my dip powder manicure chipped on several nails in the first week. She fixed them and they look a thousand times better than my manicure from elsewhere looked. I loved this place and had fun! The man who did my nails was funny and kept complimenting me on my "cute little baby toes/fingers" in a sing-songs voice LOL They were pretty pushy on what I should get-- I was still undecided when I went in with my friend and thought of a 4th of July theme. He convinced me into doing a French mani pedi because I had nice long natural nails. Was he looking for the extra buck? Maybe, but I'm glad I listened to him because it came out great. It had been a while since I had a French manicure done anyways. The other workers were friendly too, they conversed with their customers and cracked jokes. At one point, the man held my leg in both of his hands whilst doing my pedicure and said "smooooooth...do you do sports?" To which I responded "Uh, well I chase after kids all day!" LOL (I work with Autism, trauma, and behavior students). It took more than two weeks for my gel French manicure to bust! Very Upset with this place. This is my 2nd time. The first time I spent $45.00 to get the "spa" pedicure. Well normally it's 37.00 for the same thing other salons. Let me first start off by saying that I'm a licensed cosmetologist, so I know what the state regulations on sanitation are, and this place was not sanitary at all. The guy who did my nails didn't really clean them other than a quick buff and wipe of polish remover, didn't put anything down on the table before he started and the file/buffer block was clearly already used! To make matters worse, he ripped my skin with that file, left a lump of polish, and didn't shape all my nails the way I asked. They didn't even offer a discount when he injured me! DO NOT GO THERE. the seats are leather and peeling. the guy cut my toes and put nail polish remover on the cut when there wasn't even nail polish on my toenail. then i went to get gel powder dip and i was waiting for 20 minutes before even being talked to. the guy came up to me and said to give him a few minutes to "go to the bathroom" but came back smelling like cigarette smoke & was hitting on one of the girls getting a pedicure. i asked for coffin shaped nails and they gave me a rounded square. the color on the sample was a blue and when he dipped my nail in the powder it was an ugly clear green. the total of my fingernails alone was $60 and they're already peeling off (not complaining because they're ugly) i would never go here again. read more

I was a bit skeptical going in after reading the reviews but I was staying across the street at the Fairfield a few weeks ago and in desperate need of a pedicure. I walked in, was greeted courteously, and was in a chair in about 5 minutes. The pedicure was excellent, very well done. Lisa was attentive, asked me my preferences from cutting my nails to filing and how strong I wanted the color to be. I was impressed, she was thoroughly professional and was very careful. I would certainly return when I'm in the area again. I'm from Los Angeles and have two favorite local salons and Kayti Nails was certainly on par with both of them. Too expensive $14 for manicure and $6 to remove gel manicure. $25 for the quickest pedicure you'll ever have in your life!! Great if your in a rush but then adjust the price. I live so close to this salon that I keep making the same mistake and going out of convenience. It's a 50/50 shot to get a quality job done on ties or frets 3 1/2 weeks ago I got a great manicure. Last week got pretty close to the worst manicure I've ever had. Barely trimmed cuticles and wouldn't cut my nails as short as I wanted stating that they are so strong. How does that prevent you from cutting them short? He didn't even put lotion on my hands! No joke ladies... No arm or hand rub or anything. I joke/Asked and he didn't acknowledge me. I tried to tell him the corners were too sharp as I have a small child I don't want to scratch and even scratched the top of his hand lightly to demonstrate but he ignored it. I went in about an hour before closing for a full acrylic set and gel manicure. I then asked if they would have time to do a pedicure. They were so awesome and stayed nearly 30 minutes after closing to be sure i got all the services I wanted. The actual location is pretty rundown. The pedicure chairs are peeling, the floors are dirty and cracked, and the selection of colors is underwhelming. The pedicure was okay, not the best, not the worst. I paid the additional $5 for callus removal and was unimpressed with this service, especially for the up charge. The person doing my manicure said he would find the matching color for my toes and my gel manicure, he did not. My manicure was rushed since I arrived so close to closing. I would rather have just come back the next day but was told they could get it done. In 30 minutes the tech applied a full set and gel polish, which is a lot to get done in 30 minutes. Lack of attention to detail. They did not do my cuticles, the nail shape/length is not the same on both hands. At the end when I went to go pay with my card, i was told they do not accept card tip. I apologized for not having cash and was told to go to the store next door to get cash back so I can tip. This made me feel uncomfortable. Usually when I don't have cash, I'm just told it's okay. Anyway, 4 days ago, I got my nails done with their new product, cats eye gel polish, and the girl who did it, didn't know what she was doing and upon leaving I realized they looked cracked in spots. Sure enough, 3 cracked and one tip broke, so I went back today and even though he wasn't busy, he said come back at 4pm. Ill fix it myself. I arrived on time and 2 walk ins came and he took them and said come back Tu or Wed. He had NO INTENTION of fixing them. The place is run down, chairs have fake leather peeled off . and they RUSH to get you out of there. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. I got a pedicure here, the next day my toe was infected! I had to go to the doctor's and they had to remove a quarter of my nail to stop the infection. Now I'm in a lot of pain and the doctor's say it will take 6 months to a year for my nail to grow back. Obviously they don't clean their equipment very well. Not a great job on French pedi but returned a fourth time and again made the same request but at least told she was on vacation and had other good women who work there. Got yet another man who, half way thru, needed assistance from the other man who said "looks beautiful". Clearly a newbie! Messed up completely ! When I complained the man said It was my nail and I needed vitamins! It was clearly a glob of polish! I was forced to pay and when under dryer, another wonderful woman named Kim saw my displeasure, put me back in the chair, removed everything the other man did and re-did my pedi. Over 2 hours later, and her teaching the man who did the first disaster, I left with a very decent pedi. I was not offered a refund , apology, or next visit free, by the owner, manager guy. Had my nails done there last week .. I had two weddings in back-to-back weekends so I figured a nice gel french manicure would last AT LEAST the two weeks. I had a man - maybe in his 40s.... he completely rushed my manicure (they were busy.. but c'mon).. cut my cuticles too far back on one finger and made me bleed.. he rushed so bad the gel polish is SOOO THIN it's literally already peeling off of my nails and it's been 6 days.. ridiculous. for 35 freakin' bucks. The nail endings are not even, and are not straight. He didn't even take the time to clean up the extra stuff that gets caught underneath the end of your nails after filing. No massage with the manicure.. a little lotion and he had me out the door. Then, when he told me I owed him 35 for my crappy manicure.. I asked him if I could add tip to my c.c (despite the crappy rushed manicure I was still going to give him a tip..)... and he told me they only do cash tip... I had $5.00 on me .. so I said I was sorry that was all I had in cash.. but thank you.. to which he told me "ATM right next door" I almost laughed out loud. I just happened to give this place a try last Wednesday since it was on my way home. I had a gentleman do my nails and he did a very sloppy job. The gel appeared to be a no-name (def not OPI) and is not very thick at all - Its Tuesday of the following week and I have broke 2 nails. This place was $5.00 more expensive than what I am used to paying and no hand or arm massage. Who doesnt give a massage with a manicure but charges more than most salons? This place! I made an appointment to have a pedicure and manicure done. When I arrived I was asked if I would like to try a different type of manicure. I was told it would last 3 weeks or more and would cost an additinal fee. I decided to give it a try. After the job was completed I was told that it would last 2-3 weeks depending on the person. I was also told not to remove the gel myself as it would ruin my nails. Well, the manicure only lasted less than 2 weeks. My nails started to chip and one of the them actually started to peel. I went into the shop and told the person that had done my nails that I had this problem and wanted the gel removed. She did remove the gel but then charged me $10.00 for that service. When I said that I was not happy with this because I was told it would last 3 weeks she said in some cases it could be from 1-2 weeks. When I said that is not what I was told she said I would have to speak to a manager. I then left the shop never to return. Also, I paid an additional amount for the pedicure and I have gotten the same type of pedicure done at other locations as part of their normal job. I paid almost $100.00 for both the manicure and pedicure and do not feel that it was worth even half of that. I do not recommend having anything done here. read more
