My family always avoided shopping at Hobby Lobby because of their extreme religious beliefs. But we happened to be walking by when we shopped at Kohl's next door. We decided to go check it out simply because it's Christmas time. The store is huge compared to Michael's. There were tons of merchandise. Religious books are right in front of cash registers. Because of the name HOBBY, I know they must have lots of hobbyist stuff. Uh... not really. Just a few, not a whole lot. We only bought a cute ceramic gingerbread house at a discount. We were looking at miniature trees for the villages. But the color was way too blue. They don't have green trees. Oh well. Can't find anything else to buy. Very interesting to see there are no men working here. All ladies are not young. We had to leave because we were not comfortable shopping there. Customers acted very weird. I don't think I'll come back.

Normally I love this location but today wasn't a pleasant experience. I was in line for what seemed to be forever, after they yelled register 5 is now open. I moved over to that line, then they walked away to help someone at another register, which is understandable. After standing in that line alone for about 8 minutes, the young lady looks at me, walks with another member and walks off. So now I have to go back in another line which put me back in line for another 15 minutes. A Manager comes to the front to see the lines overly long, call the same girl who was hiding from working the register- and guess what, the same girl who was hiding behind the decoration walk backs to her register, register 5 and calls someone up. It's very frustrating to have to watch this. Even more frustrating when it's on a short break you have. The store is clean, everyone has on mask, but this incident hanged my view on this location After waiting and watching a manager ring up an employee at the end register, while customers are waiting. If the employee was in line like the others and there were other people in that line he was also going to check out, that would've been perfectly normal.... In the future I would recommend anyone who can check out an employee, also take customers in that line when the lines are extremely long

He added hooks in the back so I could mount it on my wall!

Brett did a wonderful job in adding some hooks to a piece I had bought to add to my theater room. Very attentive, and well mannered!! Give him a raise!! Good employees are hard to come by these days!! Shout out!!!

In no way did Ms Jesslyn have to help me the whole time to help me get decor for my guest room. But she did and I dearly appreciate it!

I can spend hours in this place. Now, I'm not married, but when I do get married, I'm going to feel real sorry for my husband.

The Missouri City store wasn't well stocked and the staff was rude when I asked for some assistance.

I went on the website and decided to take the Jamaican themed class. It was priced at $180 per couple. The menu for the night was black bean soup, rice and peas, jerk chicken and shrimp, and rum cake. They already had everything prepped for us. The chef told us exactly how to make each dish. Everything we had was bursting with flavor. The class was so much fun! The chef even threw in some cooking education and he made us laugh while doing it. I highly recommend this class to everyone! It's easy for even a novice cook. They even had a little music going on. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the service provided. It was definitely a vibe and a fun date night. I would love to go back for the other classes. Also it's BYOB!

We made crab cakes, cheese grits with several different toppings, cheesecake, shrimp gravy over biscuits AND OH EM GEE!!! It was all so so good!! Keep in mind this is a BYOB as well. That, paired with good food and great friends is an excellent experience and you should definitely give it a try!!! I can't wait to bring my husband here! 10/10!!!!!!!!!
