If I could give 0 stars I would but that's not an option.. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Kendra Scott. As a person of color, I felt racially profiled and treated poorly from the moment I walked in. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, offering little to no assistance compared to how I saw them interacting with other customers. To make matters worse, my mom brought in a broken necklace she had purchased from Kendra Scott, and the employee kept repeatedly asking, "Well, did you get the necklace from here?" This was not only frustrating but insulting--obviously, we wouldn't have come to Kendra Scott if the necklace wasn't from there. It felt like they were questioning us simply because of who we are, which was unacceptable. It is a simple fix and the company as a whole has lost me as a customer. I have bought jewelry from this store since they opened. I recently bought 3 bracelets at the color bar for me and my 2 daughters. 4 weeks later, the bracelets have completely tarnished. I took one in and showed a sales rep, who then insisted that it was because the bracelet got wet. I said no, the bracelet has not gotten wet. She rudely accused me of lying and let me know there was nothing they could do. The jewelry tarnishes quickly by just normal wear and the store does not back their products and instead has 0 customer service. We will not be back. 0 stars. November 30th, 2024's morning shift were horrible. I went in not too long after the Sugar Land store opened and before a salon appointment. I have gone to KS for many years for my bday to pick out something annually. I was there for at least 5 minutes and was never greeted by anyone. I made my way around the whole store - found two rings I would have liked to try in my size, walked to the back to see if I'd get help there. The two ladies who were in that area did see me but walked in the back area off the floor. After such and unpleasant experience, I put those two rings back and left because I do not buy from anywhere that doesn't showcase care for customers or customer service. Customer service was so slow and poor. No one that worked there knew what they were doing. It took an hour to resize my watch. The line was almost out the door because not one cashier knew how to work anything. The girl that helped me left several times to go help someone else while working on my watch. I was so happy when a Kendra Scott popped up in Sugar Land. I have shopped at this KS several times and have always had a good experience. The ladies that work here are so sweet and helpful- I can genuinely say I have been warmly greeted and assisted each time I've set foot in this store. I have also been to a few events at this Kendra that have been fun: a Houston Moms Blog event and a ColorBar party are two that I attended most recently. There's always lots of free flowing wine, tons of sweet treats, and some swag bag items at these events. I love the values of the Kendra Scott company and will continue to support this woman-owned and empowered business! read more

Yesterday I had the most unpleasant experience at Kendra Scott Sugar Land. When I walked in I was greeted by an older lady with brown hair, I asked her if the BOGO was still valid. She informed me that it was not. I told her how I was shopping at Dillard's in the Galleria and got the notice on my phone on Sunday, if I had known that it was going to be over that quickly, I wouldn't have waited to come to the store. At any rate, she seemed fidgety and I also noticed several salespeople just standing around, at one point staring at me. I inquired from the older salesperson if they had any double-chained necklaces with a sitting stone. She seemed to not understand what I was saying, so repeated, she then quickly pointed to me where double strand necklaces were in the front right of the store, but she stated that she didn't know if they were separate or all together. This was puzzling, she returned to her post in the store instead of trying to assist me. I looked at the chain that appeared similar to the one I saw and liked at Dillard's. As I started walking to the middle of the store, the salespeople were like statues and stared at me. I honestly felt as if they had never seen a person of color before. It was very uncomfortable. Finally, I did meet a very helpful and kind salesperson who assisted me by escorting me back to the front where I was initially disposed of by the other salesperson. We discovered that the necklaces were double clasps, and she even assisted with placing the necklace on me. However, I felt it may be too complicated to get in and out of so we then went to the "color bar". When she stopped to ask another associate to assist me, as I assume everyone had stations, the other salesperson mumbled to her, "No, you do it. I'm not...." I didn't hear what followed the I'm not, but I know that she didn't leave her post, so I continued with the salesperson to the color bar and I selected a necklace and stone. I was then sent to checkout. I would have purchased more, but I didn't want to give my business to the store with people acting in the manner that I observed. This review gets a 2 only because the young lady who helped me was truly nice and sincere. Again, I noticed a very disturbing energy in the store, it was very stale and again I caught some salespeople staring at me. I also noticed a woman who was walking at a very fast pace in the store, but she never looked up to acknowledge me or anyone else. I assume she was the manager. As I was waiting in line, she came up to the couple behind me and they moved to the side of the line by the register, so I was left to stand in the middle by myself, so it appears instead of telling me the line should start near the register, she just ignored me and told the rest of the people to move to that areas. The staff is not friendly. Perhaps they forget that they work in retail, which means it's all about customer service and selling the product you have been hired and paid to sell. The behavior is unacceptable on all levels. If they don't want to do their jobs, maybe they need to find another line of employment. It's their choice to work there, just like it our choice as consumers to purchase from these stores. Iam considering going and buy some gifts from Kendra Scott today, but I don;t know If I will at that location. I hope this was not a case of racial profiling, we don't need this in Fort Bend County. It is one of the most diverse communities in the country. read more

I had a great experience working with Ashley to organize our fundraising event at Kendra Scott for my nursing organization. This meant that KS planned everything from the food, drinks (alcoholic and non), display, and jewelry pieces. The only thing we had to bring was people to come and support our organization. I've had less than positive experiences at other Kendra Scott locations in the past. I'll walk in and be greeted with the generic "hello/welcome to Kendra Scott" or nothing at all and then left to my own devices. It always felt awkward and reminded me of the mean girls in high school...which really isn't what any customer should feel. I like Kendra Scott, and I love going in on my birthday month to get a new piece at a discount. It's such a fun treat. Despite my past experiences I've never let it stop me from patronizing (and have never left a review about it until now), so my husband and I took our five year old daughter to the Sugar Land location tonight for a very special occasion. We decided to get her a small necklace for her to hold onto when she's in school and starts to miss us or gets homesick. When we walked in the store it was a little busy but we were actually greeted so nicely by a sales person who was genuinely welcoming. That felt nice after a year of not really going into places to shop other than the grocery store. Then another sweet woman came over to help us. If i could give less than 1 star I would. This was a staple for me when Ashley and Mandy were there, but service has really gone down. I tried going on again after a bit of time away, and I regret it. They take forever to greet me and will greet others who come in behind me. Is it because of my age? The girls there also have crazy conversations and if you stand close to the back you can even hear them just chatting it up. I did end up buying a piece as a gift, and once they got my money they were nice, but it didn't change the way I felt. I will not be giving them any of my business, and I think the overall quality is going down, and the price is going up. Disappointed. read more

Truly the best Kendra I have been in!! The customer service here even beats the flagship store in Austin!! The managers here are soo sweet and always get the items to you that you want, even when they are sold out. The manager herself offered me a piece she was saving to buy. Super super sweet! Everyone there always greets the customers and the vibe is just fun! Remember if you are a teacher or nurse you get a discount with proof of your badge. I walked in while two employees were on the floor. One was on the register the other one was doing nothing. Both of them didn't greet me. I didn't mind, I started looking around. A lady with her two kids walk in and right away both employees greet her and one actually decided to help her. Not one had came up to me. At the moment I still didn't mind because I wasn't ready. A minute goes by and I have two earrings on my hand and wanted to ask questions about them. Two separate families come in and 2-3 girls come out from the back room and went to go help them while passing by me not acknowledging me at all. Finally, one girl comes out from the back room makes eye contact right away and helps me with everything and ends up cashing me out. I just want to point out that not one of them acknowledge me except for Cecilia. I appreciate this girl, great customer service, awesome attitude, and very nice. The rest have no manners AT ALL. Idk if it's because I didn't look presentable but every other customer that came in after me was white and I'm not. I'm not shopping at the Sugar Land location anymore. read more

My boyfriend decided to take me to Kendra Scott for my birthday & told me I would pick out any pieces that I would like. We walked in and were greeted by an employee I'll give you that, but another couple walked in right behind us , notified about a sale that was going on at the time. At first I didn't pay any mind to it because I was so excited to pick out basically whatever I wanted. While looking throughout the store no one asked my boyfriend & I if we needed any help, while I saw others being waited on. After finding the pieces I wanted I walked towards the back & asked if I could purchase the items. An employee went to the back & told me to pay at the register. The same girl who briefly greeted us, checked us out. Putting both of the items in one dust bag placing it inside the yellow Kendra scoot bag without a gift box. Spending close to 100$ still without notifying us about the promotion. After paying I was curious about the sale so I personally went up to another employee asking more about it & how it worked. Which was if you spend 75$ or more a customer can buy a "code" for 25$ and a vending machine with different Kendra Scott items basically picks for you which piece of jewelry you'll receive. I decided to get back in line to pay 25$ for the code. Finally it was my turn and the same girl who checked us out & greeted us asked "oh no one told you about the promotion" when it was obvious that it was HER job to tell us because she was the ONLY associate at the front checking people out along with greeting others. After asking if I could purchase the code she asked me if I could show her my receipt. When it hadn't even been more than 5 mins within the time she had checked us out. I don't know if this employee thought that maybe I wasn't deserving of this promotion, but I definitely was taken by surprise. I think she would tell my boyfriend & I were already annoyed about how we were being treated. So we payed for the code went up to the machine received our items & left. Now I know I'm only 20 years old but I know that this is not how you treat paying customers or even customers at all. I have worked in retail & I know 100% this is not how you treated others that are willing to give you their money, even if it is just 100$. I have visited the Town & Country location on several occasions with very positive results. Excellent service and merchandising. I called this store to review return policy without a receipt for a gift received for Christmas that was several months old. Since the store was so far from me, it is difficult to get there. She graciously looked up purchaser's name and explained that whenever I could come in, I could exchange my item since it was all online via purchaser name for 100% of the value! Within the next month, I was able to go into another Kendra Scott location in Sugar Land with my exchange. Oh my, what a difference~! Store was very sparsely furnished (probably so that everything could be called 'custom' & therefore non returnable), sales persons were young and seemed bored. When I explained that I was there for a return/exchange, I was told something quite different than what the T&C store said. I was coldly told that due to a 30 day return policy, they could not give back the value originally paid. After explaining my conversation with their other store, she checked with the manager who offered to accept the return at 100% as a one time courtesy. I was reminded on several occasions, during my visit, about the 30 day return policy as if they needed confirmation that I understood they were doing me a big favor by allowing me to exchange my item at full price. The sales clerk seemed quite cool or stiff in helping me with my selections and spent an inordinate amount of time ignoring me or making me wait while she texted on her store phone the entire time. I wondered if she was communicating with other store employees about how put out she was to have to help me with my exchange! (BTW, I did purchase more than the exchange). Honestly, I took the time to write this review b/c the difference in customer service & merchandising in T&C is so good that I was literally shocked and disappointed at how I was treated in the Sugar Land store and was happy to leave! read more
