I love J Jill and I love this store! Thank you J Jill for opening a new store in the First Colony…read moreMall outdoor shopping area! I wandered in here today as I was shopping. I was so pleased to see it was open, I knew it was set to open this summer. I love the bright interior. The store is well laid out with very friendly and helpful staff. They carry misses and petite sizes in the store but if you want women's sizes (1X - 4X), they can order it for you and you get free shipping. Today when I went in, I was helped by the store manager, Kismari. She is very knowledgeable and knows her products. She acted as my personal shopper as we wandered around the store picking out items. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to pick items that suit my tastes. I've shopped online with J Jill for many years and know the fabrics and love the clothes, but to have that extra touch of having someone walk the store with me was great. Kismari sat down and checked on size and color for all my items that needed to be ordered since women's sizes are all ordered and then delivered to your house. She also explained all the promotions to me so I could save as much as possible. She took the time to find out that I'm a teacher which means discount! Teachers receive an extra 15% off of all regularly priced items. She also told me about opening a credit card with J Jill. I really really didn't want to open a credit card, but as a frequent J Jill shopper, the perks just couldn't be ignored! I'm so excited about all my items coming in the mail. I'm also excited that I can return anything that doesn't work for me to the store. The store is so easy to get to. I parked within 10 feet of the entrance and walked right in. I love that it is located in the outdoor mall area because I don't have to go into the actual mall. If you love comfortable casual women's clothing, this is a great place to shop and say hello to Kismari for me!

I wasn't familiar with the J Jill brand so I looked around to see if anything caught my eye. While the styles are not exactly me, I did see a couple of items I liked so I inquired about tall lengths. I was informed that they do not carry tall length in store or other. The sales lady also informed me that sizing is generous for this brand and the size small may be a little roomy on me as well as short. I appreciated her giving me this truthful information rather than just trying to make a sale. The clothing I looked at was quality clothing and pricing was reasonable. The kind attitude and helpfulness of the sales lady as well as the store itself deserve an A-OK. I'd be willing to come back again and browse. It's possible they could start stocking tall lengths and adjust sizing in the future and I could find something.

Located in Sugarland, you will find this fancy store with expensive dresses in the mall, which is actually pretty decent as far as it goes. I want to first respond to a review i read , the person said ," they were not acknowledged in the…read morestore " I think that meant no one greeted them. "No one said , hello , and how can I help you today " I'm guessing! Well it's not the 1980's anymore and hasn't been for a very long time. What does that mean.. Customer service has slowly degraded over forty years as I have watched this closely ( as an avid shopper) . You can fight it or just accept that idiots are in charge now . I choose the latter. I used to speak to mangers, write actual letters, then email came around .. I would write emails, then the WWW ( World Wide Web), I would reach out to the home office , then text , now writing reviews that everyone can see. I really see this as it is break down in a couple of things 1. Salary at a retail store is crap. 2. The turnover is a lot. 3. the invention of Amazon and mail order delivery. We are in a society that caters to the homebody and not a live person . I say , keep going I tot he stores and make the retail employees help you , speak to you, and make them seem needed and appreciated ( they are probably not getting that from their managers)my opinion.
