The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets.
