Thus, I was willing to hunt down the Sewing Studio while in Orlando for a conference. I was looking for fabric to make an Elsa costume for my granddaughter. I wanted the perfect sparkly fabric for my little "Elsa". The Sewing Studio Fabric Superstore has a large room of speciality fabrics. They had an entire hanging wall display filled with special brocades, another hanging wall display showcased wedding fabrics, while another hangin wall display had dance fabrics. I was impressed with the large wall of bolt bins of miscellaneous fancy fabrics. I took in a sample of the velvet fabric I already had for the dress and the associate patiently helped me find the perfect brocade to make a corset over the dress. She knowledgeable discussed with me the best way to wash and sew the brocade. She helped me find matching thread and made sure I had everything I needed to make the perfect dress. If you're looking for speciality fabrics, this is the place to go. If you're looking for quilting cottons, they have a large selection at good prices.
