This lengthy review is submitted for two purposes: first, to recommend Virtual Homes Realty as a professional, efficient, and caring company; and secondly, to dispel the spurious claims of the September 2nd entry. I am the owner of the property addressed in that wholly unfair review. My family lives four hours south of Palm Coast but we were delighted when Alina Pekarsky found us such a wonderful property. I personally drove up to review all the work done on the house. Virtual Homes Realty practices and policies are transparent to clients and I can tell you first-hand that all my transactions were conducted by knowledgable professionals - with a heart! Unfortuanely we were not able to move up to Palm Coast and again, Virtual Homes Realty assuaged all our concerns about long-distance renting by offering FIVE-STAR property management. And the company delivere - exceeding our expectations at every turn. We also had a detailed video and photo gallery of the interior and exterior of the property upon completion of all work and decoration. And yes, Virtual Homes Realty has a very strict rental policy. And as we all signed the contratcs, we all knew the rules and regulations. That said, Alina Perkarsky and her team reached out to me and my family to help the gentleman who was renting our lovely home break his contract so that he may move to his own residence. As Alina Perkarsky and her team inspire confidence and trust through honest and sound business proctices, I authorized her to accomodate the man renting our home. As for the protests expressed in that September 2nd review about repairs necessary upon moving out , well... You know, we have all rented a place or two in our lifetimes. And we all know about wear and tear accrued by, well, just day-to-day living. And that's why we have to give a security deposit... The Virtual Home Team has always kept me informed about any requests for repairs or potential problems. There are no surpries and whatever fix is needed, well, they have companies who meet their high standards get on it immediately. There is always a followup with owners so that there's an electronic trail of services, maintenance, and repairs. As an owner I picked the interior and exterior paint colors. I toured the property. As I said there are no surprises with Virtual Homes Realty. The September 2nd entry is surprising as the gentleman was the first person to live in that house since we purchased it. Virtual Homes Realty has been exceptional in all our business dealings. No surprises. Five Star service. I cannot recommend this real estate agency enough. read more

The worst experience of my life. I rented from these people for 4 years. They never fixed the repairs noted in the inspections every six months,about the ac. Took pictures of the mold behind the handler upon moving in . ( I believe they knew the condition of this place ) Kept paying rent as nothing was ever addressed, I had no idea that our lives ( mine and my dogs) would change drastically!) Every year the rent increased and the ac was never addressed . My dog got horribly ill with pneumonia and I was sick constantly until it got so bad with me I had the air quality tested. The house had so many issues. Mold ,water damaged cabinets . It was like pulling teeth for them to acknowledge or listen to me about the severity of it. They cleaned the ducts and then it got so much worse !! Not done by professionals. (No one that works for them is professional) We were living in the porch , eyes and throat burning, absolutely horrible. I had to stay with different people the last month. Meanwhile I had tried to get out my lease 6 months earlier . They messed that up too. I had never been late on a payment and paid over 50,000 in rent!!! They never returned my full deposit because they said I had unpaid rent !!!! I physically couldn't stay there . Right now a month later after throwing out all our belongings , living with different families and being treated for CIRS, still sick I can only hope they reap what they sow. The neighbors said they replaced the roof but if no repairs were done inside. as stated in the report, the attic, kitchen wall behind the ac, water damaged cabinets with aspergillus weren't addressed another family will suffer . They do not care at all. I will post pics from the report very soon !RESPONSE.. I am also editing this review in her response. They had guys clean the ac coils using bleach ! He told me you may not be able to stay here a couple days . I could not believe we left for 3 days and came back and that's when it got unbearable !! We slept in the porch and garage with a big fan. We could not stay there any longer. The last month they didn't refund !!! . I was the one that hired the mold test guy they said they would not pay for it. Then they purchased the report from him. You are never supposed to clean coils or ducts with bleach . It's common sense and I've done lots of research They had 7 days to remediate and they didn't .Just look at their reviews please. read more

Beware: Security Deposit Scammers!! Had I not had 10+ years as a property manager, this company would have scammed me out of most of my security deposit. I rented a duplex from VHR for 3 years. They showed me the property before it had been renovated after the previous resident moved out. There were many problems with the unit when we moved in which I made detailed notes of on my Move-In Checklist. During my time there, I made various improvements in the unit and yard. Upon vacating, the unit was spotless, the yard impeccable, and all concrete pressure washed. VHR attempted to nickel and dime me for previous problems and fraudulent accusation. It took me over 4 months to fight them on every claim they made. Bottom line: if you rent from them, make detailed notes upon move-in, take pictures of everything, submit maintenance requests for everything that's not in perfect working order to protect yourselves from these thieves. If only people would read their reviews. Reading is fundamental. You can see they only deal with you until they sell you a house or rent from them. I must say some of the staff is pleasant. You can forget about the owner pekarsky I've tried reaching her on multiple occasions. Her assistant Diana was nice and professional, she's gone now I believe or moved to higher position. Be very careful about renting through Virtual Homes Realty located in Palm Coast FL. We leased a home through this company. We treated the rental property like it was our own and actually added improvements to the dwelling only to have them hold back money from our security deposit. They and the property owners agreed to vacate the lease early. We spent hours (and money) filling picture hanging holes, touching up paint with paint custom blended at Lowe's, paying a professional home cleaning service etc. upon move-out. They reduced our move-out time from two weeks to four days. After we rushed to move-out to accommodate them, Virtual Homes Realty claimed $500.00 in paint touch-up expense. Their "proof" of damages consisted of an estimate (not an actual invoice of incurred expense) and a bunch of tiny thumbnail sized photos embedded into a PDF file. When I challenged the damages they were claiming and requested high resolution digital images, they threatened to charge us a default fee. We didn't default. They and their clients (the landlords) voluntarily agreed to vacate the original lease. Virtual Homes Realty started out acting nice when we first leased through them but the really turned nasty and underhanded when we requested proof of the damages they were claiming. read more

This company is disgusting. Don't ever book anything with them. Cancels reservations booked 8 months out with no notice. Extremely unprofessional. upon move out they claimed we damaged the apartment which is total untrue, we even paid to have it professionally cleaned and the company that we hired commented that they really hated taking our money due to the place being damn near spotless, they charged me 25.00 to replace the furnace filter, yet the owners furnace man came in and serviced it and changed the air filter 4/5 days before we turned over the keys, 100.00+ to clean vents, but we removed all vents and washed them when we had the cleaning company come in, 1150.00 for a paint job which was no more than $600.00, we power washed the complete house and driveway, washed all windows inside and out, the neighbors even stated it didn't look like we ever lived in the place, I would definitely tell you to stay away they will not repair anything, nor will they return calls if you have a problem, most the women that work there are nice till you move in, after that they don't have time for you till you move out and they lie threw their teeth about damage, they haven't heard the last of me, read more

We rented 60 west over for a month online and got confirmation. Alina reach us out 4 hours later and said her system had glitch she didn't charge us enough and demand more money which was red flag. We asked her that I gotta own the problem since I have nothing to do with their glitch or she is willing to work with us. She didn't seem care and no apology. Mediocre service, we rented a condo from them without knowing that the property is under renovation. They claim that they did not know. Turns out they did know, it's posted all over the building and announced. Pool was closed when we got here. I have been renting a Home in Palm Coast for $3,650 a month. My spa doesn't work the pool has not functioned properly for 2 months. We had a Propane leak when we moved in not sure that has been fixed as half the burners in the outdoor kitchen don't work. For the best part my AC has not been working properly for over a month. It's over 80 in my house right now. I put in service requests and as nice as the staff is nothing gets fixed. Now that don't respond like I am the issue for being upset. read more

Company will keep as much of your deposit as they can, we took many pictures when our neighbors told us when we were moving in that they will rip us off. I called virtual and they said oh no don't worry well the neighbors were correct so glad we took pictures before and after including the ceilings. The roofing company that redid the roof left it open during rain storm and virtual trying to keep money for the mold in walls . We have pics of water damages.
