Clean and well stocked. Great selection of seasonal merchandise. With Joannes no longer around one of the better places to get fabric.

Great store. Lots of selection. In these crazy times the cashiers were great and friendly. Just wish all the customers were too!

As a non-profit, we rely on the support of our community to keep the program running. Yesterday I stopped into Bigfoot to ask for donations for an upcoming auction/fund raiser. Anyone who has had to do this sort of thing will tell you that it can be rather uncomfortable, and I was, but Bigfoots open handed generosity left me amazed. After I stammered out what we were asking, the shop owner asked what age or skill level we needed and then just started pulling kits of the shelf. "Got any cars, what about armour? How about something for kids? And some tools..." Needless to say, I fairly floated out of the shop, arms full and smiling. When I got home, I told my wife that I am spending ALL my money at Bigfoot Hobbies from now on! Good people, who support their community, deserve the support OF their community. This is a great shop, staffed by great people. Go there and check it out, you won't be dissapointed!

As with all craft stores such as Michael's, the pricing on most every product is very reasonably priced which makes it a whole lot easier to want to do crafting. Selection wise they do pretty good to be honest. The only real difficult thing to find is allot of items for Cricut machines as well as others that are past of a niche market. Not to mention products like this are expensive anyhow. All said and done, this is probably my favorite store (Wether it is the wife going on or myself).

I went in last night 7/19/25 around 7:50pm to return it. The man behind the counter did not appear to want to help anyone. I asked to do a return and he asked what was wrong. I told him what happened and he said he needed to call a manager. She said because I had used it I could not return it. I said their policy states if I am unhappy with my purchase I can return it within 60 days with the receipt. I only attempted to use it. Obviously I was not happy with my purchase since it didn't work for what I needed it for. She still declined my return so I left and called the Lakewood store. I asked about the return policy and told them what happened and they said they didn't understand why Lacey would not allow me to do a return. I had to drive 40 min to return my item. From now on I'll drive 40 min to spend my money. Lacey customer service is trash and they will not be receiving my business anymore.

And when I share that I'm browsing, it becomes a simple "Just let us know if you need anything." Which I always appreciate. Beyond that, the volume, variety, types of items, and organization blows me away. They have it all here -- ended up with a book for me , a book for my kiddo, and some mystery gift for me (from my wife). I will be keeping an eye on the dice for whenever one catches my eye. The one negative is the impact to my bank account -- not because of it is expensive (everything is VERY fairly priced) but because of how much cool stuff there is and how welcoming it feels there. Their loyalty program is going to pay off very quickly and I am already excited to return again. Thank you all for running such an incredible game shop! So happy to be in Oly with this as my LGS.

But I want to look at this situation for a minute. Here was a local businessman and what a novelty it is to see THAT thrive in any economy, who gave his full undivided attention to his immediate customer's needs. I found it comforting. I suspected he wouldn't rush me through my inquiries and it afforded me an opportunity to look and listen and determine if this was a fair person. I said earlier he took care of his immediate customer's needs. Some times I didn't see a customer and would still wait for a few, but I came to realize he was wrapping up loose ends. Being detail oriented in the card business is essential. Pat and his small but well-informed staff have never let me down. We so often want that hometown feeling and touch of personal care, well, it doesn't get better than Dugan's. Being treated like family means you might have to share time, but hey, you can look around and cultivate your hobby while you consider how you can honor a situation that strives to respect every single customer and not rush them along like a simple, useless transaction.

I was in town today and decided to check for sports card shops. I inherited a collection of about…read more30,000 cards a few years back and although it sounds impressive, I'd say out of the 30,000 cards, only about 3,000 have value and the average value is about $2, so nobody is quitting their day job. In Seattle, we got a place called DJ's, and those guys are great, friendly, helpful and an impressive selection of anything you would want or need related to the trading card hobby. Never having been here before I read the reviews and people talked about rude and cold behavior, but the overall score of 3.5 was enough for me to pop in. The card selection here was really small, had this been the first card store I ever visited, I doubt I would have visited another. That said, I was the only person in the section and a couple people looked at me, even walked by me multiple times, but no one ever spoke, welcomed me in or offered to explain the layout. After browsing for about 10 minutes, I found some interesting cards in a consignment area My experience with consignment is it's items owned by a private seller, but sold by the business for a commission. When I asked about prices since nothing was marked, I was told the items are for auction and I needed to register to bid. 1) The guy had an attitude when I asked for help despite him doing nothing but twiddling him thumbs. 2) Is it consignment or auction. 3) You are killing your business, those items are not moving, which means they are taking up real estate. Your goal with any item, especially used is to sell it as fast as possible. Can you imagine cars sitting on a car lot for 30 days, then selling to the highest bid. You may have been able to sell that car In a couple days instead of clogging your lot for a month. In addition, I asked some other questions and people working there were clueless. I'm sorry, if you work in a card shop or card counter, you need to be an expert. If I ask if you have a specific team or player, you shouldn't have to ask anyone else. Even if you are unsure, you should at a minimum be able to say, check this area, but then again, from what I saw, the store had no organization. I think 3.5 stars is generous, I have no reason to return here. The cards are probably about 25% maybe even 20% of the store, so they have other hobby items, but if you are headed here from sport related memorabilia, I'd say keep driving.
