These people have the worst staff working the register, don't even call to ask for help with anything, and if you do call, just asked to speak to a manager. i'm not even going into detail about what happened because it was completely stupid and unnecessary. But I also wanna apologize to the manager because after me screaming and cussing, she asked me what I would like her to do about the situation and if she could look for the item that I was seeking. This is my go-to place for all my picture framing needs. On this visit, we went to get my daughter's B.S. Degree put in a nice frame! Rene was very helpful and accommodating and made sure we got what we needed. The Manager, Mr. Kirk, is the consummate professional and is always very sharply dressed and friendly to everyone; makes you feel welcomed and appreciated! I drug my family out looking for something to put on our entryway wall. I wasn't really sure exactly what I wanted but I thought we'd stop at an antique store first and then HL. Well as things would go the antique store was closed. So we headed on over to HL. Now, this isn't my regular HL, but I remember it was on the way. My husband found some nice barstools. Score! I found some Wonder Woman paraphernalia, score! Our youngest found some Spiderman paraphernalia score! And we ended up finding something we made into a mirror for our entryway. So SCORE! read more

I can't be the only person walking into Hob-Lob singing the animated Song "What's this?" "What's this?" "There's colors everywhere" from The nightmare before Christmas. This place is truly a dreamland to any crafty DIYer. There is always a sale, 30-60% off. The item you got isn't om sale? No worries. You can use their 40% off coupon that you an snag online to save some big bucks in some cases. I love coming here for my home decor, Christmas decor, or simply to start my new project that I came across on Pinterest. Staff is 50/50 on the service. Some are very passionate of their jobs and some just dread it which makes the experience a little more sad since this is my own DisneyWorld where everyone is trilled to be a part of this magic. Prices seem reasonable until you finish your project and realize all the materials you just used. After all, Disney is expensive and so is Hob-Lob after your project is done with. Safe to say, the nicer and fun things in life do leave a dent in your wallet but you are still ok with it. read more

I am definitely not a crafty person, so I've probably never investigated three-fourths of this Hobby Lobby. When I'm in a pinch for some sewing supplies, however, or when I want to buy Kona cotton material, I beeline to this location. Hobby Lobby carries a decent (let me stress that word) array of fabrics. They're just okay in my book. Some of them are pretty good, but some of their calicos are way too sheer and lightweight to even be called a true calico. Their ribbon selection is pretty substantial, so I'll stock up whenever they've got a 50 percent off sale. Other sewing notions are scanty. Button selection is sparse. Pins and needles are all one manufacturer (some off-brand) that aren't high quality in my opinion. Decent assortment of scissors and other cutters, but often I've found popular sizes sold out. Quilt batting assortment is adequate, but again, popular sizes of certain types do get sold out and then you're left with only king or twin from which to choose. I do like that Hobby Lobby does consistently offer a "40 percent off one item" coupon if you have their app. I use it every single time I come into Hobby Lobby and it has saved me quite a bit of money. I don't like the long lines at checkout, though. No matter what day of the week or what time of the day I visit, there's never enough registers open and there are always five or more people in line waiting (often with each one purchasing an endless supply of crafty things that I never even knew existed and it takes forever to ring up). And I detest their parking lot. Absolutely detest it. If I do not park somewhere FAR away from their store (for instance, near Staples), I will surely have a ding in my car from some idiot that has mastered parking in MY space as well as theirs and can't get their door open without hitting my car. read more

I came to the store to pick up a few crafty items and I was twisted around because the items I needed were in two or three different places and that was a lot being I had two of my curious sons with me (that is difficult in it self) lol! Trying to calm them down from all the fun stuff they'd seen! Anywho, the first employee I came across in the fabric section (elder) was stand off-ish in a bad way too! It was like I was intimidated to even go up and ask a question. I did, (I'm not a punk) and she had a Snigh answer which lead me to GTFO of that area! So eventually I found what I was looking for. As we were walking to the register I came across another employee (younger) lady, she was a little off but she answered my question as best as she could. When I got to the register the lady was pleasant and kind so hey she is the reason I give them three stars and plus I found what I needed. I'm on my way back to the store now, hopefully this will be more welcoming;) read more

Literally the worst shopping experience I've ever encountered. The staff and manager made it extremely difficult to simply exchange items. I try not to come to this location and go to the Tomball one because their store is cleaner and I've never had problems even though it's further away from my house and now I know to never come to this location-ever. I only needed to swap out a few items that my husband had bought and they made it extremely difficult. read more

Went to buy flowers this morning. Picked same flowers : white - from same bucket. Got to register to find 2 different prices. Some $7.99 and some $9.99. asked to speak to the manager who was right there listening - said prices have gone up. Wouldn't give me the ones that were marked $9.99 for $7.99. same flowers. Be careful if you shop there. They lift my business. Manager is a waste and rude. She needs not be in a public job. Worthless read more

I went in and bought an Iwata airbrush kit drove 32 minutes home opened it and somebody had purchased replaced with an old rusty airbrush and returned it nobody even checked it before putting it back on the Shelf when I called they agree to exchange it for an even exchange for the same product and assured me that it was in the back it was brand new when I got home after another hour commute sure enough the lubrication gel that comes with the airbrush was missing and the tip is already been filed down rendering the airbrush useless read more

Update to my previous review (sorry I took me too long :D) We found a beautiful nativity set at Sacco. Hard to compare the price, but it's smaller (which I referred), of course, cheaper. But the best part is that the set is so beautiful. we love this set much much better and since we don't like Hobby Lobby...we decided to returned all things that we bought from them. THEIR LOST FOR BAD SERVICE! I did got the tree returned afterward and in such a thankful that we decided to return it instead of following the exchange rule...because when we brought back the tree, the same mean silly manager said that if it already got exchanged, it couldn't be returned nor exchange for the second time. WHAT!....As I said earlier, what if the second tree has the same problem...that mean you or I have to stuck with it. NEVER HEARD SUCH A THING BEFORE. Oh well, we don't want to argue with stupid people as long we got it returned. So, remember friends....that's Hobby Lobby policy...at least at this location. Lucky, we brought it back right away and wayyyyyyyyy before xmas otherwise they might say something else to make us keep their tree. read more

This store uses its religion as an excuse to file a lawsuit denying women birth control in spite of the fact that their church supports family planning. As a grandmother of a new born whose daughter-in-law has no birth control, but does have insurance, I am outraged. My daughter-in-law cannot take the inexpensive birth control pill because she is breast feeding so despite having insurance for which my son pays a lot of money they must risk having another child or spend almost $700 on top of what the C-section already cost them. Shame on Hobby Lobby. I will shop at Michael's. It will be a lean Christmas season for you Hobby Lobby. read more
