The Chinese food was great! We ate in our car, lots of parking. I like the setup of protection they have from coronavirus. Very safe.

Each dish was so flavorful and fresh. The duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and plated in a delicious curry. The drunken noddles came with chicken and shrimp, and were loaded with yummy veggies. The Mussaman Curry had lots of beef and veggies, and the curry sauce itself was so fragrant, flavorful, and rich. The Pla Rad Prik was similar to the duck in that it was crispy on the outside and very warm and tender on the inside. It came with a similar sauce to the duck, and was plated with beautiful vibrant veggies on top. The ambiance of Thai Kitchen is excellent. I was very impressed when i walked in by the cozy and warm, yet upscale decor. It has the vibe of a small, upscale thai restaurant that you could find in Manhattan. I would definitely come back and bring friends if I was showing them around the neighborhood. The service was similarly warm and upscale. We received each of our dishes quickly and with a friendly smile. This is DEFINITELY going to be my new go-to for thai in this area.

My family and I went to Red Lantern on a Friday night. We did not have to wait to be seated. The hostess greeted us and soon after our waiter joined us. The waiter explained to us the different prices for portion sizes ( small or large). I ordered the small portion which is more like a lunch, but it was adequate for me. My daughter ordered the Perfect 10: a full box of sushi and sashimi which was on the pricey side but all tasted very good. My husband ordered the Basil Chicken and I ordered the small portion of the Mango Chicken. All entrees were delicious. We will definitely return

We ordered pineapple fried rice, crab rangoon, a spicy tuna avocado roll, and a California roll while watching the Spurs win the Western Conference -- woo hoo. The spicy tuna roll never even made an appearance, the crab rangoon showed up without the red sauce, and the fried rice was basically mush with about five lonely shrimp. Also, raisins? In pineapple fried rice? That's a crime. It's supposed to have cashews. That said, the sexy mama roll was delicious. And if you're reheating it, skip the microwave and pan-sear it on the stove. Now you officially have the Supreme Touch!

First of all, the interior is just as impressive and immersive experience as the outside - it's worth a meal there just for the ambiance. But luckily it's not just about the atmosphere - the food lived up to it as well! Our favorites were the 3 cup chicken and the Mandarin pork chop. Both unique dishes that we hadn't had before and were delicious! If you like the classic american Chinese dishes, they also made a great version of chicken with broccoli.

American Chinese food was ok, though much of it was still off-temperature due to the commute over. The rice and noodle was just-ok. Not as good flavor as an AJ Bistro. Gold coin steak was saucy, yes, but meat was tough. General cho's was soggy. The more authentic Chinese dishes, though, were much better - the xiaolongbao were good, BBQ spare ribs people liked (I found too dry and lacked flavor in the middle of the rib meat, needed more marination), Shanghai bok choy with mushroom was great, lobster & scallion was excellent. Seared green beans were good. Overall, mixed bag on dishes - I think it'll be better when I go to eat in-person.

I stopped…read moreby for lunch with my top-tier chum, a native of the Kingdom of Sussex who has been here before and has spoken highly of it. I don't know why I was surprised to discover this was in a strip mall, but that's on me. A nice one, at least. The place was relatively busy but we were able to secure a table easily with zero wait time. Pleasant vibes inside. I don't mean this as an insult at all but I was expecting more ethnic decor in line with the restaurant's menu - instead, it's pretty Americanized and feels like a classic suburban NJ establishment. I liked the painted brick on the lefthand side that has Blue Spice's logo/sign on it; spiffy. The bathroom was also a high point, which is...not something I say often. It was very clean and smelled nice, and I liked the dark cruise-ship lighting vibe. We decided to split the scallion pancake app, which was an excellent decision. I work in the city and regularly have this item from a place in Chinatown, and I honestly thought this was better, mostly because it was thicker/denser than what I'm used to. Super tasty and would get that again in a heartbeat. Giant portion as well - we split the pancake, which was roughly the size of a small pizza. My chum had leftovers there, I did not; so it goes with us. I've had a few mediocre chicken katsu experiences of late, so this seemed like a chance for redemption. I ordered the Akiko Curry entree, which was their spin on chicken katsu curry. Honestly wasn't my favorite. Again, a HUGE portion here and was only able to finish about 60% of it despite having a pretty legit appetite coming in. And the presentation value is excellent as well, as far as that goes. This could easily just be a personal palate preference, but I wasn't crazy about the curry itself (which had a weird tang to it) and didn't resemble the standard curry I'm used to with this dish. Also, as you can see from the attached, the curry is basically on the side of the dish, separated from the chicken and rice. Because of that, the chicken is on the dry side, which is my primary beef (pun?) with the item to begin with. So a miss for me, but I could see why other people would like this (and apparently do). The service was excellent, full stop. Our waitress was very nice and personable; she had strong command of the menu and you could see her consistently engaging with other patrons throughout our meal as well. She took several group photos so this is apparently a Kingdom of Sussex hot spot for that, which I wouldn't have guessed. She was so good both of us remarked on it multiple times during the meal, which is a rarity. But a great example of hospitality markedly improving an experience and making what was already an overall positive situation that much better. Huge marks there. Would definitely come back but would explore other parts of the menu once I feasted on the scallion pancake.
