We have mixed experiences with company, trending negative…read more We called them last summer for an AC issue which they fixed promptly and at reasonable cost. A request this winter for routine furnace check up couldn't be scheduled until four weeks later. At that time also asked for an estimate for furnace replacement for which a tech was available the same day. Tech promised to send us a quote that night - the quote never arrived despite multiple requests. The tech who came out for the routine check up verified our observation that the control panel of the humidifier was not working and promised to send us a quote for replacement. Guess what - quote never arrived. We paid $205 + credit card fees for the visit but never received a statement of work or even a receipt. On the plus side the techs come out at the scheduled time, seem knowledgeable, and behave professionally. Too bad they don't have time to send out promised quotes!

It was very clear from how he speaks that he's patient, kind, and professional, and is not looking to take financial advantage over a client's technical ignorance. Within 7 days he sent over a technician named Omar who was very kind, cleanly, and efficient. The first thing he did upon entering my home was put on booties. He was very thorough about telling me about his diagnoses and explaining what he was going to do/did. When he completed the work, he cleaned up the debris that had fallen when he repaired my circuit breaker box. His attention to detail and cleaning up after himself are signs of elite contractors. I'll be working with Electrisource again for future services.

It can be difficult to find honest and reliable HVAC companies, but this experience stood out. I had several questions prepared about my refrigerant, capacitor, and overall system, but I found that I did not even need to ask them because Jerry naturally addressed those topics during our conversation and explained everything clearly. He also completed a detailed inspection of my HVAC closet and offered a helpful recommendation for a better filter. The service was straightforward, with a flat fee and no upselling or pressure, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be using Cold Comfort again for my annual maintenance.

Jary (who helped us when we first moved in) came out on Tuesday and said we had a leak somewhere since the closed-system unit was totally out of coolant. He came back Weds. to do the leak detection and found the leak, recommended a new coil. We had the new coil installed on Friday; this time it was Ricardo and team that did the work installing the coil. They did a great job and a couple hours later our house was back to normal temperature. Gabriel helped us with all the coordination and estimates and seeing if the part was still under warranty (it wasn't, but I didn't expect it would be honestly.) No one likes spending a bunch of money on repairs but I'm very confident that the recommendations Jary made were sound and correct. He did not attempt to upsell me at all, which is greatly appreciated. (The estimates Gabriel sent did include options for replacing the unit, but that wasn't necessary at this time and there was no pressure to do so.) I will continue to call them if we have issues in future with our HVAC system.
