I pay a flat fee ( as do many homes) so my sewage fee is not based on consumption and I pay the same amount (I'm single) as a family of 5. Many communities are locked into home/water heating by propane which is crazy expensive. Winter heating bills can easily triple the average for the rest of the year well into the hundreds of $$. The small town ambiance is not worth it to me and I don't much like the concrete hippos all over the place. Moving here was a mistake.
