We were seated immediately. Both the host and our waitress were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a mixed drink which was very well done. One area that could have been improved upon was the wait times. This included for my drink. They were a little too long. They weren't outrageous. Just a little too long. When we ordered our food, I miss ordered and the waitress thankfully asked enough questions to figure out what I really wanted. Great job on her behalf. The food itself was amazing. The baked sausage Paisano was huge, piping hot, and delicious! My friend ordered a calzone which was also huge and she also enjoyed. A final note would be that they need to wipe down the folders for the checks more often.. When she put our bill on the table, there were greasy smudges over half of the folder. Not a great last impression. So overall, our experience was great. And based on how well it went I can definitely suggest others to give it a try. If I'm in the neighborhood, I can see myself coming back.

The room was set up beautifully and the linen color choice/option added a personal touch. The buffet brunch was delicious and the guests had positive comments on the variety that was offered. I also posted photos on social media of the event and received compliments on the room, linens and set up. The sales and banquet staff were top tier. They were excellent and attentive to all of our needs. On the day of the event, the staff was efficient and professional. We were allowed to bring personalized desserts for the event (limitations are indicated on the contract) and the price point for the event was about the going rate like other venues. But, the room was beautifully set up and the staff was wonderful. We had a spectacular event!

We've been there a few times before but this time it missed the mark for several reasons. I ordered the Cod Fish & Chips last time and they were very good with a good crunch and a generous serving, what I didn't like was their breading it was very bland with hardly any taste. Also, they didn't even have tartar sauce it was kind of like a Cajun type aioli. The waitress said that they didn't have regular tartar sauce, I thought that was odd serving fish and chips without tartar sauce. It didn't justify the $24.00 price tag. The coffee was very strong, I like coffee a little strong but this was over the top. We had the nicest server named Gloria always willing to help with the menu and refills of Mango Iced Teas. My sisters ordered the Bourbon Blue Cheese Burger and they both said they were very good. I think we are going to go to a different restaurant next time even though we went their several times before. Sorry Rock Bottom!

Ditka's Oakbrook was quickly selected based on their menu. When we hit the door, we were promptly greeted and seated in a nice, two person booth. Cozy and a bit romantic. The area is covered with dark wood, with bound papers on the shelves between decorative screw clamps. Getting to the place is a bit fun - it's in a building, so you have to come in off 83 and make a left into the parking lot, and then go past the first building to get to the parking lot. Valet parking is available, we opted for self-park. The menu and wine list were extensive - we ordered a nice bottle of wine, and Sunday is half price wine day, so we got an excellent bottle for half price! For an appetizer, we split a Caesar Salad - no anchovies (dang it) but the dressing and salad were very good. I ordered their larger filet, while my wife had their dual filet and crab cake combo. She noted that unlike other crab cakes she had experienced, this one had identifiable pieces of crab in it - no faux stuff here. The steaks were excellent, tasted great, and were cooked exactly as ordered. I ordered a side of their sauteed spinach which was nicely done, and both meals came with asparagus, which was crisp and tasty. My wife also got the garlic mashed potatoes which I had a few bites of and that were quite tasty. We wrapped it up with a slice of Chocolate Cake, which was scrumptious. Service was excellent - very attentive, with questions about the food quality and our satisfaction with the meal. The wine glasses never got low, so service gets an A+. Bathrooms - you go all the way to the far north east corner, exit the restaurant, and there are the bathrooms. Just go backwards to get back in. Would we come back? Absolutely!
